Chapter 45

(A short while later at Granny's the Charming family are sat at a table about to order lunch)

Red: So have ya'll decided what you'd like?

Charming: We have

(They all give Red/Ruby their orders and she goes to give them to her Granny)

Emma: So umm, seeing as its MY birthday, I invited someone to lunch with us.

Snow: Emma, this was meant to just be a family lunch.

Emma: He is family, sort of, well, he's Henry's family, oh look, here he is now.

(They all turn to the door and see Neal come through it)

Henry: Dad!

Neal: Hey kiddo

(Neal lifts Henry up and hugs him)

Neal: Mary Margaret, David

Charming: Hello Neal

Snow: Hi, please, sit down

Neal: Thanks

(Neal and Henry then sit down)

Charming: So Neal, how was New York?

Neal: Good, I packed all my stuff and came straight back.

Snow: Oh, I wish there wasn't a barrier around town, I'd really love to see what this world is like.

Emma: It's really not that special, though I suppose it is to you guys.

Neal: So, anything new here?

Charming: Hook and Cora are gone.

Neal: Good, let me tell you, after my time in Neverland, I'm glad I never came across him, I would've killed him on the spot.

Emma: I didn't know you spent time in Neverland?

Neal: It's not the sort of thing that came up in conversation, is it?

Emma: Very true

Henry: So dad, did you get me the thing I asked for?

Emma: What thing?

Neal: Henry asked me for a picture of the Statue of Liberty, here you go

(Neal hands his son the picture, which he had had printed out before going to find Red and giver her his order)

Henry: Look grandma, grandpa.

Snow: If we ever lift the barrier, I am definitely going to see that.

Charming: I thought you wanted to go home!

Snow: I do, but to what, our palace is in ruins, and besides, if we send people ahead of us to start the rebuilding work, that'll give us time to see this world.

Charming: I see your reasoning.

(Neal comes back and 10 minutes later their food is delivered to them, with them leaving 40 minutes later and exiting the diner)

Snow: Oh Emma, before I forget, after work, I need you to pick up a few groceries, here's the list.

Emma: Ok sure

Henry: Can I come with you?

Emma: You wanna come shopping?

Henry: Yeah

Emma: Fine, come to the station at 5:30

Henry: I will, see you guys later, bye

Everyone else: Bye

(Emma walks off)

Snow: Neal, could you come back to the house with us, we're gonna need some help setting up the marquee?

Neal: Sure

Snow: Thank you

(At the Charming's house, the dwarves, Henry, Neal and David are setting up the marquee and putting tables and chairs inside it)

Henry: Are Belle and grandpa coming later?

Neal: Yeah, they'll be here.

Henry: Good, I hope he's feeling better

Neal: He's doing okay, I think planning the wedding is distracting him.

Henry: They asked me to be a Page Boy.

Neal: He asked me to be his best man

Henry: Doesn't that mean you have to do a speech?

Neal: Yes it does, and I hate public speaking.

(Henry laughs. A few hours later at 5:15 p.m.)

Charming: Come on Henry, we'd better get you to the Sheriff station, and remember, keep her out as long as possible, she needs to get back here no earlier than 6:30.

Henry: I know

Charming: Good let's go

(He gives Henry a lift to the Sheriff's station and then goes back home)

Henry: Hi mom

Emma: Hey Henry, you ready?

Henry: Sure, oh and grandma asked me to put a couple more things on the list

Emma: Great, what is it?

Henry: Orange Juice, Pears and Cheese

Emma: All right then, let's go.

(They get in Emma's car and go to the grocery store)
