It's been such a long time since I updated...so sorry about the wait.

I've decided to change the story a bit. So recently, I read this trilogy where one of the protagonists thinks she's alive, but it turns out she died years ago and is only back to seek revenge of the boy who bullied her. But the thing is, she can talk to living people even though she is just a ghost. John will soon be able to do that but Metias and Melody have already figured out how to. So if you have any questions, just put them in the reviews and I'll answer by the next chapter.

This chapter is for the reviewer who asked me to a songfic from three cheers for sweet revenge. I'll be using the song, 'It's not a fashion statement, it's a death wish' by My Chemical Romance. Also it will be in Metias' POV, not John's.

For what you did to me,
and what I'll do to you,
you get, what everyone else gets,
you get a lifetime

Let's go!

I drift through the crowd, following Ollie and the soldier he's leading. Slowly, I step down. I will my entire appearance to change once I touch the ground. Instead of being a tall, young dark-haired soldier, I'm a short blond man in rags. I can almost feel the eyes of gaping people on me, but they quickly turn away, shaking their heads and believing that they are hallucinating.

I blend well in the crowd at the landing docks. I look just like those peasants that are waiting to find scraps like hungry seagulls. This trick has gotten really handy.

I look around, my worn boots scuffing against the asphalt with every step I take. I can sense him. He's nearby. And I sense my sister not far away.

Do you remember that day when we met
you told me this gets harder

There he is. I can see him strolling down the streets, having my dog Ollie sniff out my baby sister. My heart clenches. He promised not to hurt her in my dying breaths. He promised.

well it did
been holding on forever,
promise me that when I'm gone you'll kill my enemies,
the damage you've inflicted, temporary wounds

I follow Thomas, a fist clenched around my heart. Ollie barks louder and louder, taking off the pyramid, where all the soldiers' barracks are. You better not hurt June, I warn him silently as I run. I fell for you. I let you hurt me. I let you kill me. But this time is different. Your fate is mine to choose.

I'm coming back from the dead and I'll take you home with me
I'm taking back the life you stole

I have never felt so powerful. I've never felt so alive. The cold wind whips my hair and sweat pours down my brow as I push myself into a sprint.

With one snap of my fingers, I could have his entire world crash down around him. And instead I wait and bide my time. He will pay for what he's done. And then he'll be with me forever. How can you possibly love and hate a person at the same time?

We never got that far,
this helps me to think all through the night
bright lights that won't kill me now, or tell me how
just you and I, your starless eyes remain.

My hand reaches out, and I tackle a soldier that belongs to my squad. Well, formerly my squad, now under Thomas's guidance. Cadet Fields struggles, trying to grab his gun. "Too late," I hiss before slamming his head to the floor. His eyes roll up to the back of his head and he slumps over.

I immediately shift into Cadet Fields, becoming a lightweight soldier with brown hair. My green eyes blink as I look to see if there are any witnesses.

None. I grab the limp body of the cadet and shove him into a first floor room. It's time. I crack my knuckles. I'm ready to take my life back from Thomas.

Hip Hip Hooray for me, you talk to me, but would you kill me in my sleep
lay still like the dead
from the razor to the rosary
we could lose ourselves
and paint these walls in pitchfork red

"Cadet Fields! Where've you been?" Thomas barks.

I give him a half-hearted salute. "Around. Just scouting out like you ordered me too," I lie.

"Excuses! I specifically ordered you to keep the commoners and peasants out! While you were off duty, I saw at least three presents trying to steal supplies! Do you know what happens then?"

"Yes sir," I mumble, bowing my head. I hide a smirk.

"Good." Thomas goes off barking more orders. "Iparis was last seen entering by Commander Desoto's soldiers. I want all of you to be in extreme caution." He looks at every soldier. "She is not to be hurt."

I will avenge my ghost with every breath I take
I'm coming back from the dead and I'll take you home with me
I'm taking back the life you stole

By his side, Ollie whines. He tugs against his leash until Thomas finally lets go. Oh you stupid dog, I think. Ollie races towards me and jumps into my arms. He licks my cheek with pure happiness before I set him back down.

One of the soldiers snicker. "Fields have gone soft," he says.

I force myself to flush red. If only they knew who I really was. I feel Thomas's eyes staring at me. His eyebrows are furrowed and he looks pale. Thomas shakes it off before any of his soldiers can see.

This hole you put me in
wasn't deep enough
and I'm climbing out right now
you're running out of places to hide from me

Ollie sniffs and begins to trot to the door at the end of the hall. He barks again. "She's in there!" Thomas says. "Lock your guns," he orders. Everyone shifts their weapons into safety mode.

Thomas opens the door, cautiously peering into darkness. Knowing June, she'd probably be looking for a place where she'd have the better advantage. Thomas slowly looks up and a girl pounces at him. June's hands look around Thomas's neck, strangling him. "Don't fire! Don't fire!" he chokes out.

They manage to pin her down and cuff her. I have to push down my anger and ignore that they're hurting my baby sister.

when you go
just know that I will remember you
if living was the hardest part
we'll then one day be together
and in the end we'll fall apart
just like the leaves change in colors
and then I will be with you
I will be there one last time now

Thomas and his squad had June cuffed. "Fields, I'd like to have a word," Thomas orders. It takes me a second to realize he is talking to me due to the fact that I'm in disguise.

"Yes, sir?" I ask. It feels strange to talk to Thomas like this.

"I want to question your strange behavior today. You've never disobeyed an order before. What changed?"

"Well, you know, the former captain was murdered by the person who was his best friends and his lover." I flash him a wry grin before Thomas comes to his senses.

"Where did you get this false information?" His voice shook with anger. He grabs for my collar, but his hand slips right through me. For a moment, he looks so bewildered and perplexed. His eyebrows are cutely creased together.

I smirk. "Well, I thought you'd at least recognize the man you murdered." I shift, becoming the tall dark-haired soldier I once was.

Thomas becomes extremely pale, until his complexion matches my ghostly one. "Metias?" His mouth is dropping open, and he rubs his eyes, thinking he's looking at an illusion.

when you go
just know that I will remember you

"Glad to see you remember me," I say.

He reaches out numbly. "Metias, I am so sorry." There's shining tears in his eyes. He babbles, "I had to follow orders, I had to." He's getting down to his knees. "Please forgive me, forgive me. Take me with you!"

"I'm not here to avenge my death. Nor am I here to kill you. You promised you'd never hurt June. Look what you've done to her today."

"I had orders!" Thomas shrieks, shaking.

I shake my head sadly. "One day, you'll learn to think for yourself. To give yourself orders." I begin to fade. "It's only then we can be together."

"Take me with you!" he yells brokenly. "Please!"

I'm not there to hear him plead. I step back to the sky, where John's waiting for me. "Feeling better?" he asks with a raised ghostly eyebrow.

I nod. "For now."

I lost my fear of falling
I will be with you
I will be with you

Should I do more chapters in Metias's POV?
