I have no excuse as to why it took me so long to post a new chapter, November just disappeared on me, I'm not kidding, it just blew away in no time at all. But that's aside the point, I need to get back to work and stop falling behind or at least type stories when they come into my mind. But I digress, let me get to the reviews.

Sabrina06: Sadly I don't know if you're talking about me taking up another fandome or Isabella's plan to tell Phineas about who she is but in either case, yeah, someone isn't going to take the news well.

UnlikelyPFfan: I'm not really leaving, I'm just taking up a new one that I will be more focused on. I will still write for this one.

Phineas A: The reason my updates are late is because I procrastinate them. Sorry about that.

(Katie's POV)

It was the day of the dance and everyone was excited … or at least everyone else was. "What am I going to do? How am I going to tell him?" Isabella asked as she paced around her room. I was at Isabella's listening to her go frantic. "What if he hates me forever? What if he switches schools? What if-"

"I thought you already had a plan Isabella." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"I didn't" She said frantically. "I just thought I would be able to come up with one by the time the dance came but the time just disappeared and now the dance is here and Phineas is going to hate me!" I sighed and gave her a good slap across the face. "Thank you Katie, I needed that"

"No problem" I responded. "Phineas loves you and Rica but as far as I know, he doesn't know that you're both, so if anything he'll be extremely happy to hear that he doesn't have to choose." I snickered. "What boy wouldn't be happy to hear that he doesn't have to choose between the girl he's dating and the girl he's in love with?"

"That's not funny Katie" Isabella Hissed.

"It's true"

"Yes, but it's not funny" Isabella pulled her hair into a pony tail. "Should I wear my glasses?"

"If you plan to go as Rica then it's probably a good idea, I mean Erick looks like a completely different person without his glasses."

Isabella turned and smiled at me. "Yet you still love him either way"

I looked away and blushed. "Well yeah but ..." I shook my head. "Why do you even need glasses in the first place?"

"I only need them for reading, I get such big headaches when I don't use them, and it's such a hassle to constantly put them on and take them off so I just leave them on most of the time." She turned back to look at the mirror. "I guess I should go as Rica to tell Phineas, I mean it's not like he's expecting Isabella to appear there at all."

"Just imagine his surprise." I added.

(Phineas's POV)

(Later that night)

Well the dance had started and I must say that I was nervous; even though I was officially going with Rica (who I knew was Isabella in disguise) we agreed to meet up at the dance for a reason that I didn't fully understand but went along with anyway. When I arrived I looked around to see who else had made it, I saw Baljeet and Ginger over be the snack table, I saw Buford with Milly (for some reason) dancing in the middle of the dance floor, Django had asked Adyson as a friend (from what I heard) but neither of them were anywhere to be found, Ferb had asked Gretchen so that she wouldn't feel left out, Erick from what I remember was asked by Katie, and for some odd reason Irving was here with Holly. As I continued looking around I felt a pair of hands cover my eyes. "Guess who?" I heard a voice say.

Based on the voice I knew it was Isabella but knowing that she never actually told me that she would be here herself I assumed that it was Rica but I decided to go along with her game. "Um … is it Ferb?" I asked jokingly.

I heard her laugh. "No"

"How about … Erick?"

She laughed again. "Nooooo"

"Hm … is it … Candice?"

I heard her break into laughter and pull her hands off my eyes. "No silly, it's me"

I turned around to see that Isabella was dressed up as Rica. "That was my next guess, I'm glad to see that you could make it"

"Glad to be able to have made it." She said smiling like nobody's business.

I pulled her in close and was about to kiss her when suddenly took us by surprise. "Phineas! Rica!" Django shouted.

"Django!" I said recovering from a near heart attack. "What is it" when I turned to look at him I saw that he was with Adyson.

"Well I wanted to see what you two were up to?"

I sighed. "Then why did you have to give us a heart attack?"

He laughed slightly. "Sorry I … well …" He would have gone on rambling if a slow song hadn't come on. He was quickly dragged away by a cheerful Adyson leaving me and my girlfriend alone.

"Well that was awkward." Rica said as she watched Adyson drag Django off.

"You can say that again." I replied. After a moment of standing there I decided to break the silence. "Can I have this dance?" I asked.

"Sure Phineas." She responded. I took her by the waist and she put her hand around my neck and we swayed from side to side. As we danced we drifted closer and closer until we were practically hugging each other. After some time of this she whispered something to me. "This is nice isn't it?"

"Yes, yea it is." I whispered back.

It was a few moment more before she whispered to me again. "Phineas … there's something I need to tell you"

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said as she slowly parted from me. "There's … something I've been keeping from you for some time now."

"You don't say." I replied. She looked at me confused until I reached up and took her glasses off. "You think I didn't notice?"

"Notice?" She asked. "What … what are you talking about?"

I sighed. "I've known you for nearly my entire life. You don't think I would recognize you eventually?" She took a few steps back covering her mouth with her hands and fear in her eyes. "Isabella." I finished. At that moment everything seemed to freeze, the music playing seemed to pass over us and the few other people in the gym seemed to just vanish. I was about to walk over to her to tell her it was okay but for some reason my body didn't move, I was still but Isabella wasn't. As she heard what I said she turned around and ran, ran away from me leaving me in shock and disbelief. "Well that didn't go as I wanted it to." I said when I finally got my senses about me.

Okay, next chapter will come sooner … I hope. In the meantime, I've … technically finished my next story and it will be posted when this one is over so there's no worries. And that's all I have for today so until next time, Axis23 is out, peace!
