So … I managed to get this chapter in in considerably less time than the last few so yeah I'm getting these in a little faster and I will try to have the next one in as soon as possible. In other news, … I don't know. I'm just going to go straight to the reviews and then try to work on the next chapter.

IrresistibleCookie: I do my best, thank you.

Sabrina06: Well she thought that Phineas was mad at her for lying, she could have taken it better though, I agree.

Phineas A: Okay.

Violet Sayomi: I didn't abandon it, I'm just slow.

musicgirl1068: If you want to know if I'm going to torture you more then you will have to read the story. No, I will not be doing an extended addition of that, no way no how.

UnlikelyPFfan: Well I'll go as fast as I can.

johnmiami6315: I will.

Disclaimer: Phineas and Ferb characters belong to Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh.

Erick and story belongs to me

(Phineas's POV)

I stood there, still in shock at what just happened. "I guess I should have told Isabella that I was in love with her first." I said as I reconsidered what I had done. I decided that if I wanted to fix this little issue then the first step would be to fin Isabella, a task that would probably prove to be harder than it sounds given that she could be hiding anywhere in the school and would probably run if she heard me coming. But regardless of how hard it would be I still had to find her so that I could tell her how I felt.

I began looking around the cafeteria seeing as that was the only other place where we were allowed during the dance and if she wasn't there then I might be able to find someone who might have seen her. When I arrived at the cafeteria I found Erick standing next to the concession table. "Hey Erick." I said as I walked up to him.

"Hey Phineas." He responded. "Where's Isabella …" He scratched his chin confused. "Or … Rica?"

"Isabella." I answered. "And she ran off before I could tell her how I feel."

"Huh." He responded plainly. "Well that sucks now doesn't it."

"You know, you could be a little more concerned." I said as I leered at him.

"I could." He replied. "But I'm more concerned with my own problems at the moment."

I sighed. "Still haven't talked to Katie?"

"How can I?" He asked. "She keeps on running away from me every time I get near her making it a little difficult to talk to her."

I sighed again. "Well I wish you the best of luck friend."

"Likewise." Erick responded before taking a sip of his punch. "Actually, I think I may know of someone who can help you."

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, if Isabella did go to someone before hiding it would most likely be Adyson."

"How do you figure?" I asked.

He took another sip and continued. "Well, Gretchen is with Ferb and we all know what Ferb is willing to do to help you so Adyson would be the next best person she would trust."

"Seems like a long shot to me." I said as I looked away.

"Sorry, it's the best I got."

I sighed and nodded. "Thank you for your assistance, I'll see what I can get out of Adyson."

"Good luck."

(Erick's POV)

When Phineas left I decided that I should start looking for Katie again. I assumed that she was afraid that I would be angry that she lied to me but I wasn't upset and even if I was I didn't have any right to blame her. As I left the cafeteria I made my way back into the gym where the main dance was being held. As I walked around I felt a familiar sensation come over me and I stopped. "It's so much like back then." I said as I closed my eyes and pushed back old memories. "Only this time is going to end different."

I picked up my search again but I didn't have much luck until I came up with an idea of where she could be hiding. I quickly made my way to the far wall and stood to the side of the girl's locker-room. "Not like I can go in there." I said with a sigh. "Guess I'll just wait, someone's bound to come out sooner or later."

As I waited for about five or ten minutes the door opened and Ginger walked out. "Hey Ginger." I said getting her attention.

"Erick." She said surprised. "What are you doing out here?"

"Is Katie in there?" I asked.

"Shouldn't you be enjoying the dance?" She asked.

"Is Katie in there?" I asked again.

She looked back to the door then back to me. "No she's not. Why do you ask?"

I shook my head. "I thought that Fireside girls weren't allowed to lie."

"We're not prohibited from lying." She retorted.

"Funny, you didn't say you weren't lying."

Her eyes went wide and she looked away. "I'm … not lying."

I shook my head again. "If you think that lying makes me upset then why continue lying?"

She began to say something then stopped. "I'll tell her that you want to talk to her but other than that I promise you nothing."

"Good enough." I responded.

Ginger walked back into the girls locker-room and I waited outside for what felt like forever. After a while, Ginger walked back out and shook her head. "Doesn't look like she'll be coming out any time soon."

"Alright." I replied. "Thank you anyway." Ginger walked away and looked back at the door. I wasn't sure what to do at this point other than wait so I leaned against the wall and looked at the ceiling. After some time the door opened and Katie peeked her head out and looked at me. "Can we talk?" I asked.

She looked back into the locker-room and sighed. "I guess there's no avoiding this, is there?" She asked.

I sighed. "If you don't want to talk then you don't want to." I responded.

She looked at me surprised and slowly made her way out of the locker-room. "So … you're not angry?"

"Not in the slightest." I responded. "Why would I be? It was just a miscommunication is all." I responded.

She looked at me relieved. "Well then I'm glad that we got that cleared up."

"Mostly." I responded. I looked at the ground and bit my lower lip. "Katie ... do you … like me?" I asked.

She looked at me surprised. "What do you mean? Of course I like you, your one of my closest friends."

"No I mean … do you have feelings for me?" I asked again.

"Feelings? You mean like happy, sad, joyful, confused-"

"Stop trying to act like you don't know what I'm talking about." I interrupted. "Are you in love with me?"

She froze as she heard what I asked. "You want to know … if I'm in love with you?"

"Yes Katie, are you in love with me?" I asked again.

She was silent for a moment. "I … I don't know how to respond to that." She said slowly. "I mean … it's-"

Before she could finish I pulled her into a hug. After a few moments she dug her fingers into my shoulders and closed her eyes. "Yes." She said softly. "Yes I do."

So, I don't know when I'll have the next chapter done but I will try to get some work done on it tonight or tomorrow. Now that doesn't mean it will be up tomorrow, it just means that I will do my best to work on it. So until next time, Axis23 is out, peace!

Hello, my name is Axis23 and I enjoy torturing characters.
