Chapter 3: Gavin

I've decided to complete this story real quick. Since there is only two chapters left. Hope you enjoy. Read and Review please. I will give you virtual cookie.

Gavin laid on his bed. He was crying. He missed Corran. Corran stood up for him when Jace was being a jerk. He was kind. He became like an older brother. He became like the older brother he lost. He couldn't replace Biggs. He never could, but he came close.

Line Break

Corran stood outside Gavin's door. He heard sniffles. He felt guily. Gavin was crying, and even though, he didn't know why for sure. Something told him that it was his "death" that caused it. He knocked on the door. He heard the rustling of sheets and footsteps. The footsteps stopped, and there was a brief pause before the door was opened by Gavin Darklighter.

His eyes were red, and it was obvious he had been crying. Corran flinched. Gavin was shaking his head, murmuring. Corran couldn't hear what he was saying. Gavin started sobbing.

"Gavin! What's wrong?" asked Corran, concerned.

"You're not real! Leave me alone!" shouted Gavin.

"Gavin, I am real," Corran said.

"NO, YOU'RE NOT!" Gavin shouted as loud as he could, and he fell to his knees sobbing.

Corran grabbed his hand and put it to his heart. He let Gavin feel his heartbeat. He let him calm down a little. "Feel this. I'm alive. I'm real. I'm not a figment of your imagination or your grief trying deceive you," Corran said. Gavin launched himself at him and drew him into a giantic hug. Corran laughed and hugged him back.

"I missed you," said Gavin.

"I missed you too," said Corran, and he ruffled his hair. That earned him a glare from Gavin.

That's that. One more chapter. Review please.
