Pretty much how I thought the end of Rogue Squadron Book 3: Krypto's Trap should have ended. Spoilers. Probably OOC. If you haven't read it, read it. At some point or another, I'm going to be rewriting this fic. It could be better.

Corran walked up behind Miraz while she was talking to Tycho. He put his hands over his eyes, but before he could say anything, she had him flipped and lying on the ground. Corran groaned in pain. She released him immediately.

"Ouch," said Corran.

"You deserved it," said Mirax," How long have you been alive?"

"Since I was born." Mirax smacked him upside the head.

"I meant to the world."

"Officially I'm still dead until tomorrow. To Wedge, four days."

Mirax smacked him again and then hugged him. He hugged her back. He relished the relieve it was to hold her in his arms again. He loved the way he was bigger than her, but she was still stronger than him. He kissed the top of her head.

"Don't you ever die on me again," Mirax whispered. Corran knew, by the sound of her voice, that she was crying. He felt her tears stain his shirt, but he didn't mind. He hugged her tighter, and he nuzzled his nose into her hair.

"I promise," Corran said," Now, no more tears. I'm back, okay?" Mirax nodded, and she wiped the tears away. Corran leaned down and met her lips with his own. The kiss was soft and sweet. That is until Tycho interrupted them. They glared at him.
