Chapter 6: Skylar's Birthday

*Skylars POV*

As Wendy and I were walking towards the guild, I heard loud yelling from inside the guild hall.

" ROSS DO YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT THE DECORATIONS ARE SUPPOSED TO GO ON THE TABLES NOT THE GROUND!" Gray shouted giving Ross orders obviously agitated.

" Calm down Gray Its not like were prepared or anything Its too late Sky will be here any minute now."

" IF YOU HADN'T BEEN SLACKING OFF ALL DAY THEN THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN TAEN CARE OF!" Gray argued glaring accusingly at Ross.

" WHAT DID YOU SAY I WASN'T THE ONE SLACKING OFF DAMN IT, YOU SHOULD HAVE PLANNNED AHEAD OF TIME ICE PRINCESS!" Ross yelled raising his voice clearly tired of being accused. I watched as the two of them started battling each other. Gray with his Ice Make magic and Ross with his Snow Dragons roar. Wendy and I burst out laughing then we realized that they were destroying the guild hall. I immediately stopped laughing then ran through the guild hall doors Wendy following close behind me.

" Stop It you two! " I quietly yelled stepping in between them getting flown into the wall behind me in the process.

"SKY!" Ross, Gray, Wendy, Mira, Lucy, Levy, and Erza all yelled running up to me. Wow what an eventful birthday this has been so far I'm really intrigued. I sighed and tried to stand up only to fall onto my but again.

" Don't try to move." I heard Wendy say. I watched as she put her hands on my wounded side and knee andstarted healing them.

" I'm ok Wendy... I'm fine." I interjected. Wendy didn't listen just continued to heal me. I smiled she cared so much I'm glad. I watched as Ross came up to me a distant look in his eye.

" I'm so sorry Skylar I really am I never meant to hurt you and on your birthday I'm truly sorry this happened, I really am." Ross told me avoiding eye contact.

" Its ok you didn't hurt me that bad see and i'll be just fine once your girlfriends done healing me its ok Ross you and Gray met a disagreement I was in the wrong for trying to stop you I'm sorry." I apologized sincerely with a brief smile on my face. I know what just happened was partially my fault but I don't want Ross to feel bad about it hes my best friend, he shouldn't feel bad.

" I started the argument," I heard Gray speak up from the wall beside me he was leaning against, "So it was my fault not yours Sky if I had never started that argument then none of this would've happened you wouldn't have had to stop us None of this is your fault Sky don't think that." Gray looked at me and smiled then held out his hand towards me. " Lets go somewhere me and you what about it Sky, For your birthday?'"

" Sure." After Wendy was finished healing me I took Gray's hand and we exited the guild.

*Outside the guild*

"I'm so sorry about that we ruined your birthday didn't we feel free to hit me if you need." Gray told me a calming sincerity in his voice.

" Well I wouldn't say y'all ruined it actually it was pretty funny watching and hearing the two of you to an extent." I told him honestly. I then turned to face him and smiled. " Do you think you could show me around town I mean I know I've lived here for a little more than 2 months but could we spend time together just us?"

" Sure so where would you like to go?" Gray asked smiling down at me my face turning a little red.

" Hmm Ice cream parlor." I said blushing a little more. Why am I so nervous around him were friends aren't we but why am I getting so nervous is it because I like him? Why?

I then felt his arm go around my shoulder and we headed to the ice cream parlor. When we were getting Ice cream we talked about all the moments we shared with others in our different worlds. I told him things I wouldn't have normally told anyone and he told me about his stalker ex-girlfriend Juvia whom is so not over him. I burst out laughing. " So she called Lucy her love rival but Lucy didn't like you like that she was in love with Natsu."

" I know and we tried to explain that to her countless times but she never listened and then there was this one time when she thought Lyon and I were gay lovers." Gray told me an embarrassed blush creeping across his face.

" Oh my god really gay lovers." I laughed harder than I have before this, I must say, has been one of my favorite birthdays so far then I unexpectedly leaned over to his cheek and kissed him. I then quickly looked away my face turning a deep red. What did I just do?! I then felt his hand grasp mine as he lead me out of the ice cream parlor and to this beautiful looking forest with weeping willows, flowers covering all ends of the forest and a bridge across a frozen lake. " Its so beautiful." I said smiling looking around at the scenery.

" I know that's why I brought you here I thought you'd like it." Gray told me his face red from before.

I then pulled him towards me hugging him. " Thank you so much Gray this has been by far one of the best birthdays I've ever had and that's all because of you thanks so much Gray." I smiled pulling away then out of nowhere he kissed me and in that moment it felt like we were the only two people on the planet. I realized in that moments I was head over heels in love with him and then a few seconds later he pulled away handing me a gift.

" Here this is for you." Gray told me after I took the gift from him when I opened it I saw a bracelet that had the letters Gray's Girl on it in all blue my favorite color of course I smiled then put on the bracelet. " Happy Birthday Sky will you go out with me?" I heard him ask .

" Yes I will." I looked up at him and we just stood there in the cold winter night embracing eachother with not a care in the world.

*3rd Point Of View*

The only thing Gray nor Skylar knew was someone was watching them, a girl with light blue hair and dark blue eyes plotting revenge.
