A-N: Hey guys! Uh thanks for those of you who have been patient with me and waited so long for an update. You guys are awesome. Um...this chapter is dedicated to Stormflyers and Kittycon Lover. Thanks for the pick-me-up and all that stuff :D

Jack: I can't believe it took her sooo long to update! I mean it's not like she has anything better to do!

Rapunzel: Jack! That was mean! Apologise!

Jack: *grumbles* Fine. I'm sorry Kanary.

Haha Jack! :P

Hiccup: Alright guys, be nice.

Merrida: Oi! Don't make 'em stop! I think it's funny!

Thanks Merrida.

Rapunzel: Kanary does not own anything you recognize.

Jack: But she wishes she did.

Hiccup: Now on to the story!

Rapunzel

Hey again. So after Merrida's fit about riding Hiccup's dragon (which I think is amazing and so does Pascel just so you know), we eventually got her to stop complaining and just ride it. She was still all mad at us, but... she got over it once we were in the air. I LOVE flying. I've flown with Jack many times. He's carried me different ways, depending on his mood and the situation. This time, he wrapped his arm around my waist-the way Appalo did with Arieda- and we took off. I always giggle to myself when we fly because I know that if anyone looked up, all they'd see is a girl flying by herself, but this time they'd see a river of golden hair flying behind me. A tear slid down my face as I realized just how badly I had missed my long hair.

"So Punzie, what do you think about our new-found companions? Can we really trust them?" Jack whispered in my ear. I'm usually a good judge of character. Well...I am now anyway. As soon as I left the tower, I taught myself how to judge people. So I've been able to tell who'll be my friend...and who only wanted my for... other reasons... such as ransom or something.

"I like them. Hiccup is going to be a shy leader who is incredibly smart," Jack snorted. I punched his arm.

"Be nice." I told him.

"Yeah yeah." I laughed.

"Anyway, Merrida is bold, brave, rebellious, loud mouth who has a long story and a good heart. Appalo is similar to you in that he...is fun, good, protective person. He's so used to light though, that I'm scared that if he doesn't find a balance..." she shook her head, "Areida...seems to be a good-hearted person who'd protect her friends and loved ones until her death. I think she might be a little crazy though." Jack laughed loudly. I smiled and he whispered to me again.

"Hold on tight, Punzie." I grinned as we shot forward. We passed the others easily on the wind. I heard Merrida yell after us and told Hiccup to go faster. I turned to see him look back at her, but I turned around again before I could see anything else. I just relaxed and closed my eyes.

I soon fell asleep and started to dream. I dreamed of the day I met Jack. I was a little girl and I was just staring out of the window, watching the floating lights. I saw a something flying in the air and I just watched in fascination. Then it noticed me and flew towards the tower.

"What are you?" I asked. His eyes grew wide.

"Y- you can see me?!" he said excitedly. I nodded slowly, confused. Then I repeated my question. He raised his eyebrows.

"I'm a boy spirit. The winter spirit. Jack Frost. What's your name?"

"I'm Rapunzel." He grinned.

"Well Rapunzel, how would you like to have a snow day?" I cocked my head to the side, confused.

"What's a snow day?" His eyes widened.

"You've never had a snow day?" I shook my head.

"Well then you are in for a treat Rapunzel." He shot into the tower and circled around the room. Soon white floated down and covered the floor. I reached out to touch it and pulled back suddenly. It was so cold. I watched him ball up some of the snow and grin at me before throwing at my chest. I fell over and started to cry. He rushed over trying to calm me down but I smeared snow in his face and laughed. We ran around and played in the snow. Soon my mother came home and he left, but not before I made him promise to come back. That night after my mother went to bed, I got out my paints and painted a picture of him, with his sparkling ice blue eyes, and snow-white hair. He came back the next day and I showed him my painting. He grinned in delight. He picked me up and leaped into the air spinning me around. I giggled like I was insane and gave him the biggest hug a small five-year old child could give.

"It's for being the best friend ever." I told him. He grinned again and pit my down. He then made me an ice sculpture of us ice-skating. I squealed and put it on the mantle.

"And that's for being able to see me." he said. Then he iced the floor and handed me a pair of ice-skates and we skated the rest of the day.

I opened my eyes to find that we had landed and Jack was sitting on the ground watching me. I yawned and sat up, rubbing my eyes.

"Good morning Sleeping Beauty. Did you sleep well?" he asked with a smirk crossing his face. I glared at him but before I had chance to say anything, Areida burst in.

"Wrong fairytale, stupid." I was really confused but everyone else laughed at her, even Jack.

"What does she mean by that?" I asked him. He grinned at me and told me the story of Rapunzel. I frowned as I realized how closely my story matched hers. No that wasn't creepy at all. I looked up at Jack's face, illuminated by the fire and I smiled warmly. Here I was, on another adventure, a never-ending adventure, with my best friend. I felt a pang in my heart as I remembered my last adventure, but...I was happy. I had always held Jack above everyone else. Even Eugene knew this, and he didn't mind; he understood my problem. But now that problem was gone, and I didn't know what to do. Jack caught me looking at him and he winked at me. I smiled back at him. This was gonna be fun.
