A/N: OK so some of my friends have been wondering how I could hate Eugene so much and I've decided to explain myself here so I don't have to keep explaining. First, I DON'T HATE EUGENE! Ok! I love him too. I adore Flynn/Rapunzel pairing which is why they are even in here. And do you remember the part about her being a little depressed? Yeah. Anyway, I think that Jack and Rapunzel would be together if Eugene was no longer there or didn't exist period. Merrida-oh shut up already! Get on with the story! It's my turn! *sigh*ok you guys know the drill. I don't own anything that Disney or DreamWorks does. _ Merrida Toothless came thundering up to me in the middle of the night and I almost shot him with an arrow that cut his ear. "Wat do ya want you overgrown lizerd?!" I yelled at him as I sat up, groaning. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Hiccup asleep on his back. At least I thought he was asleep until a drop of blood dripped onto my arm. "Hiccup!" I yelled as I pulled him down off of the dragon. I sat him on the ground and looked for the source of the sticky red substance. It wasn"t long before I found a metal star in his back. I gasped as I saw how much blood had seeped into his vest. I quickly pulled the star out and ripped off the bottom of my dress to apply pressure to the open wound. He groaned and looked up slowly. Then fear filled his eyes and he started scooting backwards. "Stay away from me!" he yelled. My eyes grew wide and I became concerned for the viking. "Hiccup? What's wrong?" I asked, moving towards him again. He jerked back. "I'm warning you! Stay away!" he yelled again. At this point, we had woken up everyone else and they ran forward with concern written on their features. All this did "That...that was amazingwas freak Hiccup out even more. "Stay away! I don't want to hurt you!" he choked out, tears starting to Now this was getting out of hand. "Why would ya hurt us, ya great lout?" I shot at him. He closed his eyes and I took that opportunity to step closer. His eyes shot open again and he backed up. "Everyone near me gets hurt." he finally gave in and collapsed. Rapunzel and I ran to his side. "He's lost too much blood." she said. "Hiccup? Stay still ok? I'm just trying to help you." her voice was soothing as she started to wrap her hair around him. He started struggling and I grabbed his hand trying to keep him still. Soon Jack, Appalo, and Arieda were sitting on the ground with us, keeping Hiccup restrained as Rapunzel continued to wrap her hair around his torso. Flower, gleam and glow, Let your power shine, Make the clock reverse Bring back what once was mine. Heal what has been hurt, Change the fates' design, Save what has been lost, Bring back what once was mine, What once was mine. Rapunzel stopped singing and her hair, which had been glowing( I mean glowing! Seriously?), unwound itself from around Hiccup. All of us gasped in surprise when we saw that Hiccup's wound had been healed. Everyone released him as he checked out his healed side. He looked up in shock at Rapunzel. "That...that was amazing." He said in awe. She smiled and grabbed his hand. "See? You're alright now! You're safe here with us. We'll protect each other okay? You don't have to worry about hurting us." I saw a small light flash in his eyes and his body relaxed immediately. How did she do that? "Care to tell us what happened laddie?" I asked him. He sighed but didn't look at me. "Toothless heard something in the woods and he bounded off. I followed him, to find him growling at this girl. I held him back and tried to apologize but she laughed. She was so beautiful, I was caught off guard. She said something like 'Do you really think someone like you could beat us? You've got no chance if you can't even tell what's real and what's not. She told me to tell Jack she said hi but that's the last thing I remember of last night. But then I remember a terrible sorry. Every person I cared for were slaughtered. And it was all my fault!" He started crying again and it was starting to get on my nerves so I scoffed. "Such a wee lassie such as y'rself couldn't possibly cause such problems. Besides we're stronger than those pussy cats." He nodded and looked up at us. He stopped suddenly and when i looked up, Jack was fuming. "Shadow. I should've known." He spat angrily. "She's always had this crush on me. Pitch is her father." A lot of us sucked in our breath. "She has the ability to send a person to their worst nightmare. She also uses poison which she paints her fingernails in if she really wants to kill a person." I saw him glance down at Rapunzel quickly, his eyes wide as if he'd said something he shouldn't have. And by the look on her face, he had. "What did she look like Hiccup?" She said slowly. Jack's face fell. "She was blonde, with sharp ice blue eyes." Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at Jack again. "You knew? You knew all this time and you never told me. You never once fought back!?" She stood up and ran away crying. Jack pushed his hand through his hair. "What was that about?" Arieda asked. "Her husband Eugene was killed by Pitch and Shadow a year ago and he died in her arms. I never told her I knew who had done it." "Why not?" "I know this is going to sound crazy, but Manny told me not to tell her and not to go after Pitch. He said my revenge would come soon enough." Then a new voice came out from the woods. "Less than this has turned a peaceful put princess into a refengeful killer. Yours is a war to be fought in love, not hatred."
