Chapter Eleven: Broken Barriers
Kagome stared at the small device in her hand blankly. Her mind was completely empty as she pulled the results window closer for better observation. Shaking her head, she threw it into the garbage can beside the toilet before reaching for a box that was settled on the counter. Pulling yet another test from the box, she situated herself back on the toilet. After several moments of waiting, she looked at the slip and frowned. The same color… it turned the same color no matter how many times she tried the test.
After Yusuke told her he guessed she was experiencing morning sickness, she decided to test out his theory just to prove herself correct. She hadn't been with any men as of yet so she knew there was no possible way she could be pregnant… yet she now stood in the bathroom, her trash can filled with at least seven different pregnancy test strips and they all resulted in positive…
"How… how is this possible…" she murmured. Her mind wondered back to the span of time that she couldn't remember. Did something happen to her to cause this unexpected pregnancy? Was she raped? Was the experience so overwhelming that in order to protect her mental state, her mind made the decision of completely erasing that time from her memories? The miko shook her head as she dropped the test strip into the trash. It didn't make sense… nothing made sense anymore.
The shock of her new discovery kept her in a somewhat calm state as her feet carried her to her bed room. Yusuke left several hours ago, promising to come back in the morning to walk with her to school. After her cousin left, she spent the next few hours searching her mother's bathroom for the pregnancy tests she knew were hidden somewhere. Every woman she knew carried a box of testers with them just in case of emergency. Once she found them, she immediately began testing herself. Now she had an answer for her morning sickness… but what was she going to do now?
Kagome collapsed back onto her bed with a sigh. She wasn't sure why she was so calm despite what she'd just found out. Perhaps the shock of finding out still held a tight grip on her. Shrugging her shoulders, the miko rolled over and closed her eyes. She never noticed the demon that had situated himself comfortably in the sacred tree just outside her bedroom window. The body guard she wasn't even aware of scanned the surrounding area for danger as she drifted off to sleep. Just before she was completely unconscious, she felt an odd sense of reassurance… as if she were safe no matter what happened upon her home throughout the night.
The miko woke the next morning the same as she had the two previous. Once she was finished emptying the contents of her stomach, she quickly brushed her teeth and prepared for school. She jumped slightly when she heard a knock at the front door but quickly brushing off her jitters. Dashing down the stairs, slinging her book bag over her shoulder as she went, she opened the door and smiled not only to Yusuke, but Kurama as well.
"Good morning. I only expected Yusuke to be walking with me this morning but the more the merrier!" she grinned toward Kurama before linking her arm through her cousin's and leading him toward the steps of the shrine.
"Good morning to you as well Kagome." Kurama laughed at her antics as he followed behind the miko.
"What's got you in such a mood this morning?" Yusuke asked, beginning to worry.
Her chipper mood suddenly disappeared as she glared at her cousin. "After everything that's happened in the last two weeks, I need to keep my spirits up or I'll break down."
Yusuke's eyes widened slightly as he shook his head. "In that case, be as happy as your heart desires!"
A smile appeared on her face once more. "Thank you. Now we better get going or we're going to be late." she announced before linking her arm through Kurama's as well and dragging both detectives toward their school. The miko blew right past Kuwabara, who'd been waiting for them at the front gates of their school, and pulled the boys straight into the large building. Both Kurama and Yusuke were surprised when she abruptly released them and darted off toward her classroom without another word. Glancing at each other, they shrugged before heading toward their own classes.
Kagome sighed heavily as she plopped down in her seat. Closing her eyes, she tried to drown out the sounds around her and clear her mind. She had to refrain from thinking of the recent events or she was sure to lose her mind. The miko still had no idea how or why she was being attacked. For all she knew, she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
"Pathetic."
Kagome's eyes whipped open when she heard the muttered statement. Turning a sharp glare to her right, she wasn't surprised to see Hiei sitting in his seat with his arms crossed over his chest. Finally fed up with his attitude, she snapped. "What is your problem?"
Hiei turned his crimson gaze to her in complete boredom. "You are my problem." He stated simply.
"Well then change classes you asshole." She huffed though ground teeth. She really couldn't stand his arrogance.
"If you're so bothered by my presence then you change classes onna." He snorted as he turned his gaze back to the front of the class.
Kagome clenched her hands into tight fists as she glared at the boy beside her. "My name is Kagome, or are you too stupid to comprehend that?" she ground out.
The corner of his lips tilted up slightly. So he'd finally hit a sensitive spot hmm? "You should really learn how to control yourself onna."
Kagome could feel her blood boiling. Her body temperature was rising with how angry she was. "You stupid-"
"Every word that escapes that irritating mouth of yours means nothing to me so why don't you silence yourself onna before you really irritate me." Hiei interrupted her angry rant. Not bothering to conceal his contempt smirk, he sat smugly in his seat as the teacher stepped into the room.
What happened next nearly caused Hiei to fall out of his chair. The faintest sound of a demonic growl escaped Kagome's lips as she bared her fangs at him for a moment before she abruptly stood and left the room. Hiei sat frozen in his seat for several seconds before he forced himself into action. He quickly left the room as well and searched the hall for the detective's cousin. She was nowhere in sight. He awakened his jagan in an attempt to locate her mind but failed in that field as well.
Growling softly to himself, he darted down the hall toward where he knew Kurama's class was. Standing outside the class, he sent a message to his three teammates. 'The miko has left the building.'
Within seconds, Kurama stepped out of his classroom and turned to face the hybrid with a worried expression. "Why did she leave?"
Hiei crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the avatar. "There are more important problems than her departure."
Kurama stared at the hybrid curiously. "What do you mean?"
The koorime relayed his memory of Kagome before she left the room. Kurama's eyes widened in surprise but before he could question the hybrid, both demons turned to see Yusuke and Kuwabara running toward them from their classes. The detective looked frantic as he approached Hiei. "Where is my cousin?"
"She left the building." He answered simply.
"Well what are we waiting for?! We have to find her!" Yusuke snapped before darting toward the front doors of the school.
Kagome glared at the ground as she made her way home. Stupid arrogant boys that think they know everything. Her glare intensified at the mere thought of Hiei. Why did he always pick on her?! He was always such an ass to her and it was seriously beginning to get on her nerves. Next time she saw him… "Ughh I hate him!" she grumbled to herself.
The miko stopped in her tracks when she heard the softest whisper of her name. Turning to look behind her, she found no one in particular. Just dozens of everyday people trying to get to work. Shrugging her shoulders, she continued on her way until she heard a 'pst'.
"Ok who are you and what do you want?" she snapped, growing irritated.
"Over here."
Glancing toward where she heard the voice, she began making her way to a tall figure with its face covered with a black hood.
"Can I help you?" she asked angrily. What the hell did he want with her?
"You want to know what's been happening lately don't you?" the man whispered.
Kagome's eyes widened slightly. "How do yo-"
"I can explain everything if you just follow me." He interrupted her before turning his back to her and walking along with the crowd of people.
Kagome stared after the tall figure for a moment before she slowly began to follow. She figured she wasn't in danger since this man approached her in the middle of a busy street with hundreds of other people. If he was here to attack or kidnap her, he would have dragged her into one of the many dark alleyways they were passing… right? Shrugging her shoulders, she continued to follow the man as he led her toward a building that looked to be under construction. He made his way to the front door of the building and pushed it open.
"Uh are we allowed in here? It looks like it's restricted." Kagome muttered. She received no response from the man as he stepped into the dark building. Something deep inside her demanded her not to enter the building… that it was dangerous… but she wanted, no she needed to find out what had been happening lately. If this man could tell her, then she would follow and hear him out. With that said, she stepped into the building.
She jumped slightly when the door slammed shut behind her. Her gaze whipped around to the door but she could barely see anything. "Where did you go?" she spoke into the darkness, waving her hands in front of her to get a sense of where she was going as she made her way in an unknown direction. "Hello?"
A scream escaped her lips when someone grabbed her wrists and pulled them behind her. She struggled when she felt the person begin to tie her hands together but it was useless. Another scream escaped her when the person roughly grabbed her arm and began pulling her. Before she knew it, a rag was tied in her mouth to prevent her from screaming again and she began to struggle even more. A groan of pain escaped her when she was thrown to the ground.
"Stay still if you want to live human." She heard someone say to her. She couldn't see a thing in the darkness of the building and now she was terrified. She should have listened to that little voice in her head that screamed for her to turn tail and run instead of entering the building. Now she was trapped and there was nothing she could do. Even if she did somehow escape the bindings that held her wrists together, it would be impossible for her to find her way back to the door before whoever was holding her hostage got to her.
"If you scream again, I'll cut out your tongue. Do you understand?"
Tears began to trail down her cheeks as she nodded her head vigorously even though she doubted the man could see her. The rag in her mouth suddenly disappeared and she coughed for a moment before flexing her jaw. "What do you want with me." She demanded. Her fear was slowly dissipating because her anger was beginning to rise.
"Where is it you pathetic human." He demanded, ignoring her question.
"I don't know what you're talking about! And why do you keep calling me 'human'!?" she yelled.
She inhaled sharply when the face of the man suddenly appeared before her eyes. She began to shake slightly when she saw long sharp fangs protruding from his lips. His face suddenly disappeared from sight and she pushed herself backward in an attempt to put distance between her and whatever was questioning her. Was she being held hostage by a vampire?!
"Now answer my question human. Where is it?!" he snarled.
"I don't know what you're talking about!" she answered back, squeezing her eyes shut as if it would make her disappear and she'd wake up in her bedroom and realize this was all just a terrible nightmare.
He suddenly fisted his hand in her hair and shook her slightly. "You know exactly what I'm talking about and if you don't hand it over, I will make your pathetic life so miserable that you'll beg for death." He growled down at her.
Light suddenly burst into the building and Kagome's gaze whipped toward the source. Standing in the entrance of the front door was Yusuke, Kurama, Kuwabara and to her surprise, Hiei. Her cousin was glaring at the vampire that still held a fistful of her hair. "Let go of my cousin before I tear you to shreds."
The man that held her hostage suddenly disappeared and Kagome sighed in relief. "I can't move Yusuke." She whined as she rolled over on her side.
Yusuke and Kurama were the first to reach her. She wasn't sure how but they were able to cut her bindings before helping her to her feet. Once she was stable, the miko threw her arms around Yusuke's neck in a tight hug. "Thank you…" she murmured before release her cousin and wrapping her arms around Kurama as well. "I don't know how you found me but thank you." She repeated.
Kurama smiled reassuringly and held her in his arms protectively. "It's alright Kagome, you're safe now."
"You better not be getting fresh with my cousin Kurama." Yusuke growled, glaring at his comrade slightly.
Kagome blushed brightly and pulled away. No one noticed the irritated glare on Hiei's face at the physical contact between the kitsune and miko. A spike of energy alerted the group of the impending danger seconds before dozens of demons began attacking them. The four boys were careful to keep Kagome in the middle of them so they could keep her safe as they fought off the demons that seemed to have their mind set on getting to her.
Kagome stood in pure shock as she watched her cousin and his friends fight hundreds of monsters that were appearing out of nowhere. She was very confused but remained silent as she watched. There was a bright orange sword that appeared in Kuwabara's grasp before he began slicing through several monsters. Bright whitish blue orbs were being propelled from her cousin's finger tips. She could barley see Hiei as he used a sword she didn't even know he had with him and Kurama used a long vine whip with thorns to keep the monsters at bay.
"What the hell is going on?" she muttered to herself as she watched for several more minutes until Yusuke grabbed her arm and began dragging her toward the front door. "Where are we going?!"
"We have to get out of this building, we can't have it collapsing and gaining a lot of attention so we need to lure these bastards elsewhere." Yusuke answered as he released her so she could run on her own. Once they cleared the door, Kagome skid to a stop and slammed the door shut. Looking around frantically, she began pushing a large and heavy metal bench in front of the door in order to trap the monsters in the building for a while so they had some time to get ahead of them.
Before she could push the heavy bench in front of the door, Yusuke grabbed her arm. "Cuz, what are you doing? These things don't use doors." he asked calmly as he pulled her away from the door and toward where the others were waiting for them. Once they rejoined the others, they began running toward a secluded park before placing Kagome in the middle of their group to keep her safe once more. They didn't need to wait long for the demons to come rushing at them full speed. It also didn't take long for the detectives to destroy every single one of them.
Once he was sure the coast was clear, Yusuke turned to his cousin to see her staring at the blood soaked ground with wide unseeing eyes. "Kagome?" he asked quietly as he slowly approached her. "Kag's… are you alright?"
The miko turned her gaze to Yusuke as she slowly shook her head. "I… I don't know… I just watched my cousin and his friends kill a bunch of monsters that were trying to kill me! Do you honestly think I'm alright?!" she finally snapped.
He winced slightly as he continued to approach her. "Calm down Kag's, everything's gunna be fine." He spoke to her softly in an attempt to relax her.
"You have to be out of your damn mind if you think everything's going to be ok! And what the hell was that light coming from your finger!?"
"Kagome, I can explain… you just have to calm down ok?"
"Calm down? You want me to calm down after everything that's been happening lately?!" she snapped, glaring at him. The miko never noticed as Kurama pulled a seed from his hair and coaxed it to grow in his palm. She began to advance on her cousin just as Kurama gently grabbed her wrist. He whispered an apology as she turned toward him before wafting the fragrant plant below her nose. The woman looked surprised for a moment before she quickly fell unconscious. Holding her securely, Kurama turned a sheepish expression toward the detective.
Yusuke sighed heavily and dropped his head into his hands. "Guess there wasn't much of a choice… let's just get her home."
Kagome woke feeling as if her mind was completely engulfed in a thick fog. Groaning, she pushed herself to sit up and jumped slightly when she felt someone help her up. Her eyes snapped open to focus on Kurama and Yusuke before she allowed herself to relax. Staring at them through exhausted eyes, she leaned back against the couch she seemed to have been sleeping on. "So who's going to explain all of this chaos to me?"
"Well it's sort of a long story…" Yusuke muttered as he thought of how to start.
"How about you start off with why that vampire was holding me hostage?" she questioned. That monster had been plaguing her mind even in her sleep… memories of his fangs continuously reappeared in her mind's eye.
"Vampire?" Yusuke asked, beyond confused.
"She means the demon."
Turning toward the only window in the living room, the miko was surprised to see Hiei sitting in the window sill. A slight glare formed on her face before she averted her gaze. "What's he doing here." She muttered irritably.
"He's here to help protect you." Kurama answered with a soft smile.
"Right. The only thing he helps with is make the idea of suicide all the more tempting." She grumbled under her breath.
"Only a pathetic human such as yourself would allow the thought of ending your own life to cross your mind." Hiei snorted.
"Human… that vampire called me human too…" she murmured before her gaze whipped back to Hiei. "You're one of them aren't you!" she panicked before leaping from the couch in an attempt to put more distance between herself and the fanged beast.
"Whoa Kagome! Calm down! Hiei's not a vampire!" Yusuke stated, trying to calm her.
"Kagome, why do you think the person that was holding you hostage was a vampire?" Kurama asked softly once the miko's panic died down a bit.
"It had fangs…" she murmured as she slid to the ground, keeping her eyes on the monster across the room. She refused to take her eyes off him.
Kurama nodded as he turned to Yusuke, who decided to sit beside his cousin on the floor. "She is confused. She thinks demons are vampires."
"Demons?"
"Kagome, I know this is going to be hard to believe but… demons exist." Yusuke said to her quietly.
"Demons… as in the ones that grandpa used to tell us stories about? Ugly creatures with fangs, claws and weird powers?" she asked.
Everyone in the room sweat dropped at her description. "Well, not all demons are ugly…" Yusuke muttered as he glanced toward Hiei and Kurama. His cousin certainly didn't miss the direction his gaze had settled on.
Her eyes widened as she stared at Kurama. "You're… a demon?"
Kurama laughed nervously as he ran his hand through his hair and averted his gaze. "Well yes, for the most part."
Kagome stumbled over her words as she slowly pushed herself to her feet. "But… how? You don't look scary and evil…"
"Not all demons are scary and evil Kagome. We're the good guys… we keep the humans safe from the evil demons." Yusuke explained to her.
The miko turned her gaze to Yusuke and stared at him intensely. "You're a… demon too?"
He nodded slightly and prayed she wouldn't freak out. His wish was apparently granted because there was nothing but silence in the living room. Kagome's gaze switched from Kurama, to Hiei, and back to Yusuke as if she were thinking hard on something. Finally, she spoke her mind.
"If you're all demons… why do you look human?"
"Some demons have human forms and others merely look human but conceal they're demonic attributes." Kurama explained.
"Do any of you have demonic attributes?" she asked curiously.
Yusuke nodded, glad she seemed to be accepting the information they were feeding her. "My hair is a lot longer and I have tribal tattoos from my ancestors."
She nodded and turned her gaze to Kurama. The avatar rolled his eyes and smiled. "I share this body with a kitsune spirit. I have fox ears and a tail."
Kagome wasn't sure why but kitsune sounded familiar to her… and for some reason she desperately wanted to see Kurama's ears. Shaking the feeling, she turned her attention to Hiei though immediately regretted it. The hybrid merely glared at her before muttering 'Hn' and turning his gaze out the window. Glaring at him slightly, she crossed her arms over her chest and turned her back to the arrogant demon. "Jerk."
Yusuke rolled his eyes at his cousin as he moved to sit on the couch once more. "So Kagome, did the demon say why he was holding you hostage?"
Kagome thought back as she plopped down between Kurama and her cousin on the couch. "He kept asking me where… something was."
"What was he asking for?"
"He didn't say. All he said was for me to give 'it' to him or he'd make my life a living hell." She answered.
Kurama looked over the petite woman toward Yusuke, his face grim. They both knew very well what the demon was demanding of her. Koenma had been right… Kagome was the current guardian of the Shikon No Tama.
"So you don't know what he was talking about?" Yusuke asked.
"Not a damn clue." She muttered.
Her answer concluded that she certainly had no idea she was the guardian of the jewel and therefore most definitely didn't know of its current location.
'Are you going to tell the detective the onna is demon as well?'
Kurama glanced toward Hiei for a moment before shaking his head slightly. 'I don't think it's a very good idea.'
'She is hiding the fact that she is demon.' Hiei growled. There was almost nothing he hated more than a liar. Someone who pretended to be something they weren't.
'I don't think she knows she is a demon Hiei… have you tried using the jagan on her?'
'There is a strong barrier around her mind.' The hybrid admitted grudgingly.
'There also seemed to be a powerful barrier around her aura. Perhaps something is keeping her demonic blood concealed?'
'How would I know fox?'
Kurama rolled his eyes. 'I wasn't directing the question at you in particular Hiei.'
'Hn.'
Kurama turned his attention to Yusuke and smiled softly when he saw the detective yawn. "Why don't you go on home Yusuke? I'll watch over her for the night."
Yusuke's eyes narrowed slightly but he stood nonetheless. "If you try anything on her, I'll whoop your ass Kurama." He warned.
The avatar rolled his eyes and nodded. "Get some sleep Yusuke. We'll see you in the morning."
The detective nodded before heading toward the door. Kurama followed him so he could lock the door before returning to the living room. He wasn't surprised to find Hiei nowhere in sight.
"Guess it's just you and me tonight." Kagome smiled as she stood from the couch. "Are you hungry? Cause I sure am." She muttered before making her way toward the kitchen. "I'll whip up a little something for us." She called over her shoulder.
Smiling slightly, the avatar followed her into the kitchen. Taking a seat at the dining table, he watched her get to work. "You took everything quite well today."
Kagome shrugged as she opened the fridge to grab a few ingredients before pushing it shut with her foot. "I've found out a lot of surprising things within the past week… if I don't keep my cool. I'll probably lose my mind."
"What else have you found out? Aside from all of us being demons?"
With the miko facing the stove, Kurama didn't see her hand slowly move to rest on her stomach. She shook her head and continued her work. "Humans attacking me, demons kidnapping me, weird happenings. It's a lot to explain…"
Kurama nodded. "If it makes you uncomfortable then please don't push yourself to answer."
Kagome remained silent for a few minutes before she turned a curious glance to the kitsune. "I was wondering… could I see your demonic attributes?"
Kurama hesitated as he averted his gaze. "Well… the demonic attributes belong to the kitsune spirit… if I reveal my ears and tail then he will be in primary control, not me."
"Is that a bad thing?" she asked, turning to stare at him curiously.
Kurama's mouth opened to answer before shutting abruptly. He sighed as his gaze settled on her. "It's complicated… Youko isn't the type to… behave around beautiful women."
A slight blush touched her cheeks at his words but she brushed it off. "I'm sure I could handle him." She winked.
Kurama shook his head. "I'd really rather not take any risks…"
Kagome turned toward the avatar completely and forced the cutest pout she could muster. "Please? I'm curious…"
Kurama tried to hold strong against the pout but failed miserably. Sighing heavily, he closed his eyes in concentration as he handed control over to his counterpart. Kagome watched in awe as the red headed human turned into a silver haired demon within seconds. The miko stared at the demon with wide eyes, her gaze scanning over his furry silver ears that twitched in her direction and the tail that swayed left and right behind him.
Before she could stop herself, Kagome made her way toward the kitsune and reached up to gently tweak one of his ears. A startled sound escaped her lips when the demon suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her flush against him. She was also well aware of the tail that curled around her upper thigh. She released the appendix she'd been stroking and stared up at the kitsune as his golden eyes slowly opened and gazed right back at her. A smirk appeared on his lips and Kagome couldn't stop the blush that consumed her face.
"Why hello there love… do you know how pleasant it feels to have a beautiful woman such as yourself stoke my ears?" he purred, staring down at her intensely.
She was at a loss of words… how was she supposed to respond to such a question? "Uhh…"
The smirk on his handsome face widened. "I've been waiting quite some time to do this my sweet."
"Do wha-" the miko's question was interrupted when Youko's lips brushed against hers. A gasp of surprise escaped her and the kitsune took full advantage of the opportunity. He pressed his lips against hers and slid his tongue between her parted lips, tasting every inch of her. Youko's eyes suddenly snapped open when images began flashing through his mind. He stood frozen in place as memories, which he hadn't been aware of before, reappeared in his head. Everything came back to him in a matter of seconds and he immediately pulled away from Kagome.
"Well this is inconvenient." He pouted before quickly handing control back to Kurama so he could hide away in the depths of their mind. Memories of the past several months came back to him as if his memories of that particular time had been erased. Memories that the particular miko he'd just been kissing was already mated, and to his close friend. Not even Youko violated the mate of a comrade.
Kagome snapped back to reality by the time Kurama was back in complete control. The past came flooding back to him… as if there were a barrier holding them back and it had just been broken. He remembered everything… Kagome being a miko demon, her and Hiei's child traveling back in time to save the broken future, Kagome and Hiei mating, them defeating Kuragari… but how had they forgotten in the first place? He turned his gaze toward Kagome to see her staring at the ground blankly. Did her memories return to her as well?
"Kagome?"
The miko's eyes snapped up to meet his gaze and she smiled nervously. "I know what you mean about the kitsune spirit not being able to behave…"
"I apologize for his behavior but Kagome… do you… remember anything?" he asked slowly, not sure if she too had regained her memories or not.
"Remember what?"
"You… and Hiei?"
A look of pure anger and disgust flashed across her eyes as she vigorously shook her head. "Me and Hiei? Not a chance in hell! He's always such an asshole!"
"Right, sorry for assuming." He nodded before turning toward the bathroom. "Would you let me know when the food is prepared? I'm going to use the bathroom."
"Sure." She smiled before returning to the stove to finish cooking. Kurama quickly exited the kitchen and locked the door behind him once he entered the bathroom. Sighing heavily, he dropped his head in his hands. Why didn't Kagome regain her memories? Why had he gained his memories from kissing her? Nothing made sense… and it was obvious that none of the others could remember any of the recent events… Kurama thought back to the day they defeated Kuragari.
The amulet he was using to keep him immune to Kagome's powers… it exploded didn't it? That's the last thing he could remember before falling unconscious. Did the Spirit Pendant somehow erase their memories of the past few months? He wasn't sure what happened exactly but Kagome didn't even seem to remember the years she spent in the feudal era. Shaking his head, the avatar turned on the faucet and splashed some water onto his face. Grabbing a handful of toilet paper, he wiped his face dry before dropping the paper into the trash beside the toilet.
Something caught his eye and he averted his gaze back to the trash can curiously. There were dozens of little strips of paper with a blue line on one side. Removing one from the trash to get a better look at it, he noticed that there was also a small white plus symbol inside the blue line. His eyes widened when realization hit him and the slip of paper fell from his fingers. Kneeling beside the trash can, his eyes scanned over all the strips of paper only to find each and every single one of them was blue with a plus symbol. Kurama stumbled backward until he was leaning against the wall behind him before he ran a hand through his hair, his eyes still glued to the trash can. He needed to figure out how to restore everyone's memories… especially Kagome and Hiei's.
A/N:
Muahahahaha how'd you like that for an ending? I'm definitely not as good with cliff hangers as my dear friend Jackie is but I can sure as hell try lol. So I have a question, that has nothing to do with my fic. Has anyone seen the new Disney movie Tangled? CUTEST DAMN MOVIE EVER! Funny thing is I never knew the actual story behind Rapunzel. All I remember from being a kid is that it was a chick with really long hair and an evil lady that kept her prisoner. Never knew why or how it ended. But seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, GO WATCH IT! It's hilarious lol. Anyway, R&R please!
