Waz up you guys it's your main man, DW611 here back on fanfiction again. I'm here to bring you the second chapter of, Remember Me. I'm sorry that this chapter took longer then I promised back on March 30th of this year. When I left for Reno? I didn't have my laptop so I couldn't work on this chapter very much. So I'm sorry for the wait you guys. Special thanks go out to An author-TheAuthor for the great review on the last chapter. To tell you all the truth how the last chapter was written to reinvent my writing style. I'll like to thank everyone else that review, favorite, or followed my story so far.
I know that I've said in the last chapter of this story is going to be a two-short. But after the great review of An author-TheAuthor did. I've decided that this is going to be multiple chapter story. I'm so sorry that I keep changing my mind about how many chapters are going to be in this story.
Declaimer: The only characters I own are Mackie and White Rose. The rest of the characters I don't own. Almost all the character's rightful owners are SEGA. I also only own this story so please don't use this story without my permission thank you. I hope that you enjoy this chapter.
As our hero is running at supersonic speed across the huge planet named Mobius, trying to make it to the Station Square Mall, where a certain pink hedgehog is at long side with their friends; fighting to saving the innocent Mobians from the dangers that is lurking at the mall. While he is running he's hoping that nobody were harmed. He had to make sure that everybody is safe and unharmed. That's his job as a hero is it not? Making sure that everyone is safe and unharmed even if it cost his own health in the process of saving everyone. Besides if the girls think that he was going to sit back and let them have all the fun? They had another thing coming if they were thinking that.
The truth of the matter is that Sonic has grown bored without Eggman to overcome. Sure he enjoyed the peaceful times that came between adventures. But he would rather be on adventure than be in a peaceful time. The adventures he went on were always a chance for our hero is show-off his skills. Has he's heading towards Station Square he's feeling determine about saving the day if needed.
But no matter how much determination he felt he couldn't shake off this terrible feeling he felt deep down inside his stomach. This horrible feeling is similar to the one he felt back moments before he witness Amy's father punched her in the stomach. That scares the cobalt hedgehog a little not just that it made him worry that something bad is going to happen. He starts moving his legs faster trying to push his speed to pass their limits. As he does so he thinks to himself, "Hold on everyone! I'm on my way as fast as I can!"
Meanwhile as our hero is running his way towards the mall. A sakura hedgehog, albino bat and a lavender/violet cat are in their fight against the evil giant robot. "Ho ho ho! Plan all you want, but you can't win this battle," the evil genius proclaims as he enters the battlefield. The three girls looked up at where the voice sounded like it came from. They see that the evil genius is sitting in his Egg-mobile that is floating above them a few feet in the air.
The Egg-mobile is a miniature flying saucer that Dr. Eggman would be flying while he is watching the battles between his robots and the Sonic Team. The tiny flying saucer is only big enough to carry the egg-shaped scientist. The flying machine isn't painted any color. The metal that the Egg-mobile is built with shines as the sunlight hits it. It has the trademark Eggman logo on the front of it. The Egg-mobile starts lowing it to be about a foot or two to be closer to the girls.
The egg-shaped scientist is wearing a laboratory coat with a red and gold shirt underneath the coat. A pair of jet black sunglasses and a pair of black slacks. His once brownish mustache is graying from aging and the stress from this attack he has planned for the past three months. The albino bat notices his mustache being grayer from the last time they fought him. "Been a while don't ya say Doc? Cuz it looks like ya aged bout a good ten years," Rouge teasing the egg-shaped man and earning herself giggles from the other two girls.
"Shut up you rat with wings," the oversize man scolded. The white bat puts on a fake scared expression while the other two stop their laughing fit.
"Oh we're so scared Doc. Waz is ya goin do? Sent this oversize tin can to beat us girls up," the albino bat teased again and once again earning herself giggles from the lavender cat and pink hedgehog.
"Whatever Rouge? Be a smartass all you want. Let's get started before a certain blue pain in the ass shows up. Now I bet you all are wondering why my robot has been only dodging majority of your attacks," Dr. Eggman says as he has an annoyed look as he looks at the white bat while Blaze and Amy once again stop their laughing fit.
"Tell us why you're stupid robot is only dodging and not attack us already," the sakura hedgehog asked in an annoyed tone. She is just so sick and tired of Eggman always bragging about how he has won but then in the end he loses. What makes this different from all the other times? All she wants now is to have him to tell them why this battle has been an odd one for them.
"Oh it looks like someone is taking after their boyfriend," the evil genius teases as he gave Amy a smirk. He just loves to poke fun at the pink hedgehog for her never-ending crush on a certain cobalt hedgehog. The best parts of teasing her about herself proclaim boyfriend was how she reacts to that. The majority of the time she would get emotional about it. It might be her biggest weakness is her relationship with the Blue Blur and Eggman knows this all too well.
"Quit beating around the brush alright Eggman. Tell us why this tin can isn't attack us already," Amy said in a more annoyed tone then before. Eggman seemed to be taking great pleasure in pressing all of her buttons today.
"Fine, have it our way Amy. I've video tape all our fights over the years. After that plan in the ass boyfriend of your Amy beat me last time. I took all the footage I have on all of you guys and downloaded it into this robot. This robot knows all your moves and fighting styles. So do you really still think you can win this battle now," explains the egg-shaped man with an evil smirk that sent a chill down all three of their spins.
"First off Sonic and I aren't dating. Lastly even though this robot knows all our attacks and how we fight. Don't mean we're going to loss this battle," Amy Rose explains with a confident smile. She is trying to not show her weakness about her relationship with her hero. She knows that he enjoys to teases her about it to get her all worked up. She didn't want any of that now. She knows that if his success in making her all emotional. It could cost them the victory. She would be damned if she let that happen.
"Pinkie and I might not really agree most of the time but she's right. I'll still win this battle," Rouge says with a smirk on her face.
"We'll win this battle no matter what you throw at us," Blaze claims with a serious but confident expression. The evil genius is smirking at the three statements. Eggman looked around trying to put his second part of his plan to action. When Eggman explain all his reasons on attack today; he didn't explain his entire plan. Now he is looking around trying to find which one of those girls would be the most vulnerable to attack.
Looking at the white bat he knows that there isn't a lot that she cares about. So he couldn't target her for that fact unless he had so jewels for her but sadly he didn't have any. Then he looked at the lavender cat. Knowing that she is anti-social he didn't have enough information on the cat to target her for this attack. Now his sights are on the pink hedgehog that stood in the middle of the two other girls in front of him. Again knowing that Amy's crush on a certain blue hedgehog and how emotional she can be about it. He could use that also he could use a something else he learned about her past when he met someone who from her sad past with it as well. These facts can help him get the upper hand on them.
"I'm going to beat you all like Amy's father beats her," Eggman claims with that same smirk on his face. Amy looks at Eggman with wide eyes in shocked and disbelief that he knows her deepest darkest secret. She wants to know how he knew about this. She opens her month to ask how he knows this but the words didn't come out. It was like the words are glued to her tongue preventing her from speaking.
"What?" both Blaze and Rouge asks in a union as they both of them look at Amy with worried but concerned expressions.
"What Amy hasn't told you guys? This is priceless. I bet anything neither she nor Sonic haven't told you all why he was arrested last month too," Eggman teases with an evil grin on his face.
"No she hasn't told us anything about her father. What does Sonic's being arrested have anything to do with this too," Blaze asks as she turns around glares daggers at the evil genius. Showing the evil genius that she was about to attack him for bring this subject up.
"Well Blaze let me explain everything. The day Sonic was arrested was the same day Amy's father got out of prison. A prison sentences he did after he hit poor Amy here on the side of her head with a beer bottle when she was at the age of five. My guess is that day Amy went to Sonic because she was scared that her father was going to beat her." The evil genius says looking to make sure that they were listening to what he is saying before he continues.
"Sonic being himself he agrees to protect her from her father. Long story short Sonic and Amy's father were arguing after her father insulted Sonic. Then after that Amy stood up for herself and Sonic. That's when he punched her in the stomach. Sonic snapped and started to beat the shit out of him for hitting her," Eggman explains with that same evil smirk on his face earlier when dropped the bombshell on the poor girl. The moments those words left his month the poor girl finally found her voice.
"How the hell do you know all that Eggman? Tell me who the fuck told you these things? If you don't tell me instant? I'll beat the shit out of you with my hammer," Amy snaps as she found her voice. As Amy demands that Eggman to tell her how he knew about that she summons her Piko Piko Hammer. Lastly she glares draggers at her target. She is ready to attack at any give second. She is livid that he had the gall to bring up her relationship with her father. She is going to make him regret that he had the guts to bring that subject up.
"Easy that same day I meet your father. He wants me to get Sonic back. So I'm going to take everything that he has. And the only thing he has is you guys. I'm taking you all away from him," Eggman saying this knowing the next move from the pink hedgehog.
"OVER MY DEAD BODY YOU'LL TAKE ME AWAY FROM HIM! TELL MY DAD HE CAN GO TO HELL," Amy yells as her jumps with all her strength into the air and raises her hammer over her head. While she did that Eggman made his Egg-mobile to lock on her before she could hit the man with her hammer he pushed a button and it a dart shot out of the Egg-mobile. The dart hits her in the stomach and as soon has it hit her she drops her hammer as she starts falling down to the ground. Her hammer disappears after she drops it. Meanwhile she is quickly losing conscious as she is falling.
Rouge quickly acts as catches the unconscious pink hedgehog before she hits the ground below. "YOU'VE DONE IT NOW EGGMAN," Blaze yells as she throws a fire-ball at him hitting his Egg-mobile. Meanwhile Rouge starts to fly a nearby building so the sleeping girl would be safe and away from the fight. Rouge lands on the roof of this building and gently lays down the unconscious girl before going back to help the lavender cat in this battle. Once she makes it to where the lavender cat is she lands next to her. Both girls throw a pair of glares at the evil genius. If anyone's look could kill anybody? The looks on both of their faces would have killed the oversize man.
"DAMN IT THAT DUMBASS ROBOT MESSED UP WITH THE DARTS! I'LL LIKE TO STAY BUT I'VE GOT A ROBOT TO TAKE APART NOW! NOW EGGBOT-2014 ATTACK THEM AND FINSIH THE JOB," the oversize man yells as he starts to head back to his base disappointed and livid that his plan once again failed. While Eggman is leaving his robot throws a punch at both Rouge and Blaze. Has the robot throws its first punch at them Rouge quickly doges it and then throws a quick kick to its chest. While Blaze also quickly dodges it punch at throws a fire-ball at its head.
As the fire-ball hits it head both Rouge and Blaze see a blue spinning ball coming towards the robots back. A second later the spinning blue ball is hitting the back of the robot the attack caught it off guard. Tearing all the way thought the chest of the robot and the spinning ball it stops spinning, and the figure that was spinning starts runs, and picks up Blaze bride style and runs always from the now falling robot. Rouge quickly flies back where she left a certain pink hedgehog at while the robot is about to fall. Just for when that the building top is in the way when the robot falls. Once she got there her quickly and gently pick Amy's body up bridle style. Then flies as fast as she can because the robot is about to hit the ground.
Once they were in the clear the cobalt hedgehog puts Blaze down and looks back to see the robot is about to hit the ground. Rouge starts to fly towards where the blue hedgehog and lavender cat went still holding an unconscious Amy in her arms. "That was too easy," Sonic says with his trademark cocky smirk. He is feeling like a million bucks after so easily taking that robot down.
"What took you so long Sonic," Blaze asks as she turns around to faces Sonic. She is just curious about what took him to get here so long. She knows that it takes him a few minutes to get to Station Square from Tails' Cabin at middle of nowhere in Mystic Ruins. They have been fighting that robot for more than a few minutes.
"Well I was at Tails' cabin when he told me the mall was bein attacked. So I ran as fast as I can to get to the mall. When I got to the mall I saw Cream, Cosmo and Tikal tryin to save a few Mobians that were at the mall. So I asked them where the robot went. They told me they didn't know so I raced around town (Rouge lands behind Sonic with Amy still in her arms.) tryin findin where that robot was.
"After a while I saw Eggman comin towards me so I was ran where he came from and saw the robot throw a punch. So I decided to catch it off guard with a spin dash," the blue speedster replies with the same cocky smirk as before.
"Heya Big Blue, wouldn't you mind ya carry your girlfriend," Rouge teases as Sonic turns around to faces the white bat. His eyes wide in horror at what was in front of him in the albino bat's arms the Mobian that he was hoping the most wasn't harmed. The sight of her like this made his heart sink to the ground. He had to know what happened to her.
"What happen to her Rouge?" Sonic asks quickly as he takes Amy's unconscious body in his arms. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. The sight of her like this made his stomach turn upside down. He then notices that here is a dart in her stomach.
"Well Doc shot a dart at her stomach moments before ya showed up," Rouge relies as she removes the dart from Amy's body. "Before I go and do somethin that important now. Big Blue is it true that you're arrest cuz ya beat up Amy's dad," Rouge asks after she removes the dart. Sonic, Blaze and Rouge all knew that the dart isn't going to kill Amy because even though Eggman is evil. He isn't evil enough to take someone else's life.
"How did ya know bout that Rouge," Sonic asks curious on how she found out about Amy's dad and his fight. He knew Amy wouldn't tell her so who could have told her about the fight he had with her dad. After he asked that question his glanced left the pink hedgehog in his arms to and went to the white bat.
"Moments before Pinkie got knocked out. Eggman said things that were about her father and her history with each other. Eggman told us that he met him the same day you beat up. I guess her father told him about the beating you gave him," the white bat answers before she flies off. While the white bat leaving our hero shaking his head with a smile. He just knew what she is going to do. She is going somewhere that she could steal some more jewels, gems or the Master Emerald.
"Sonic, I'm going back to the mall so I can take Cream back home. Can you take Amy back to her house," Blaze asks as she starts to head towards the direction of the mall. The lavender cat has a soft spot for that young rabbit. It always been like that ever since the day they met.
"Sure Blaze I'll take her home," Sonic answers as while he still looks back in his arms to see the girl he is falling in love with sleeping peacefully in them. Then he took off at full speed towards to downtown Station Square where Amy's house is at. In less than a second later they made it to the front yard of Amy's house. He slowly and gently puts her down on the soft short green grass. As her body gently lies down on the grass her head tilts to the right.
Once she is on the ground our hero starts to pat her both side pockets of her skirt to find her keys. Shortly after patting her pockets he feels the keys in her right side pocket. He gently and slowly puts his hand in the pocket to get her keys out so he can open the front door. He gently pulls them out of the pocket and heads towards the door. Then he unlocks the door, takes the keys out of the key hole, goes inside to the living room, and puts the keys on the coffee table in front of her black couch. Then he goes outside towards the sleeping girl on the grass. Once he got there he gently picks her up bridle style and heads back inside the house with her.
After a few seconds he is inside her living room with her still in his arms. The moment he makes it to the living room he walks towards the couch. When he made it to the couch? He gently lays Amy down on the couch and then goes back to the door. Once he made it back to the door. He closes it, locks it and heads back towards the sleeping girl. When the cobalt hedgehog got to the black couch he picks up the pink hedgehog in another bridle style and heads upstairs to her bedroom. As he makes it to her bedroom door he carefully opens the door without putting her down on the floor.
The door opens allowing our hero to carry the girl inside her own room. Once inside the room he carefully turns on the lights with his right shoulder while he still had her still in his arms. He makes his way into her room while carrying her. The room walls was painted pink with pictures of everyone in the Sonic Team, but mostly pictures of Sonic, hanging up on the walls. There is a wooden desk against a wall besides her dresser. Her bed is neatly made with a pink and blue cover and a nightstand on the right side of her bed. He made it to the right side of the bed as he makes it to the bed gently lays Amy on the floor so he could take off the covers. The moment that he done that he once again he gently picks up her in the bridle styles and again lays her down gently but this time on the bed.
Then he pulls the covers over her body. The second he was done putting the covers over her, she then murmurs while she continues to sleep. "Sonikku, why have you been acting weird lately around me? Pretty please tell me why you're doing all of this? I really want to know why you're doing this. Is it cuz I'm really that unpleasant for you? If so I can change? Is it cuz I chase after you or give you those hugs? If so I can stop doing that for you? I'll do anything for you be yourself around me again." Our hero puts his head down in shame as his ears also pinned down.
He starts to wonder why she continues to love him after he always seems to break her heart unknowingly. It was just a mystery over the years that she still loves him even if he doesn't love her the way she did for him. Those words started to repeat over in his head like a broken record. His heart is breaking with her thinking that he has a problem with her as of late. He had to make it up to her. He decides that he is now on a mission to show her that he truly does care about her.
This mission our hero is on is to show her that he loves her for her, even if he loves her like a sister or even more than that. He wanted her to know that he didn't want her to change because of him. Then an idea came to him as he looks at her. He quietly leaves the room, but before he left the room he turns off the lights, and goes downstairs to the living room with a smile on his face while thinking of how happy he is going to make her feel.
As he made it to the living room; he goes to a wall where her house phone hanged on its charger, he grabs Amy's house phone off of its charger and dials his twin-wing yellow kitstune. "Hello this is Tails speaking," Tails answered his phone after the third rings.
"Yo Tails I've gotta question to ask ya." The blue speedster relied.
"What is it Sonic?" Sonic's twin-wing little brother asked.
"Do y'know what the color meanin of a rose that means falling in love," asked the cobalt hedgehog.
"I don't know but I think Cosmo would know. Let me ask her real quickly," the yellow kitstune answered the speedster's question. Tails puts his hand over the side of the phone where you talk though so Sonic couldn't hear their conversation and asks his girlfriend, "Hey Cosmo, what rose color mean falling in love?"
"That would be the lavender rose. Why is Sonic asking something like that," the plant alien answers being curious to why Sonic would ask a question like that. She knows he isn't really the type of guy that would slow down for a relationship. He loves he freedom and running way too much to do so. But then she remembered what Amy was talking about how weird that Sonic has been around her lately. Remembering how Amy told them the moment they shared before she ruined it. Does Sonic's question have anything to do with that him maybe finally falling in love with her? If so it would explain these actions of the cobalt hedgehog around certain pink hedgehog.
"Sonic, is helping out an old friend of ours. Sonic and my friend wanted to know the rose color that means falling in love to give to a girl he's falling in love with," the young fox lied. He hates lying to her but this he also knows that he promise Sonic he wouldn't tell anybody that he's might be falling in love with Amy.
"Ahhh how sweat of him to do something like that," she says as she has a feeling that he is hiding something about why Sonic would ask a question like that. But decides to not pressure him in telling the real reason to why our hero would ask that question. She would just ask him what he is hiding later.
Tails moves his hand away from the phone and put the phone over his ear. "Sorry for keeping you wait for the answer to your question. I know that you hate to be kept waiting but I've now know the answer to your question. The rose that means falling in love is the lavender rose," Tails answered Sonic's question.
The young fox knows what he big brother was doing while he waited for the answer to his question. The same thing he always does when he is kept waiting. That was tapping his foot and looking around with a look that is saying, "What taking so long."
"No problem, Tails. Are you guys at your cabin," the cobalt hedgehog asked. He feels relieved that he isn't waiting anymore. When he is waiting it always seems like the seconds feel like hours to him.
"No Cosmo and I aren't at the cabin. We're heading towards the park for a date when you called." The young fox showed up at the mall minutes ago. That also when polices showed up at the scene and ordered them to leave so they could do their jobs. Tails, Cosmo, Cream and Tikal did what they were told. While they headed towards where he parked the Tornado, in the outskirts of the city, Tails asked Cosmo if she wanted to go on a date.
Tails wanting to go on a date with her because he remembered about what Sonic told him earlier that day and felt like he should take her out on a little date. She agreed and decided that they should go to The Central Park of Station Square. On their way that's when phone rang in which he answered to the call of his big brother.
"I'm sorry Tails, that I interrupted your guys. But I was wondering if Cosmo has some lavender rose in her garden. If so can ya ask her is it okay if I pick one for Ames," Sonic asks while he puts his free hand behind his head and rubs it. A normal gesture for when he was embarrassment about something.
"I'll ask her real quick," Tails answers while takes the phone away from his ear and looks his girlfriend in her ocean blue eyes. "Cosmo, do you have some lavender roses in your garden. If so is it alright if Sonic pick one for our friend?"
"I do have some lavender roses. Yes he can pick one. There in the rose section of my garden," Cosmo answers with a sweet smile. Her garden is section of whatever type of plant in there. It made it easy for her to find what plants you wanted to see or to pick them. Tails puts the phone back on his ear to answer our hero's question.
"It's alright with her, Sonic. There are in the rose section of her garden," the kitstune answers the moment the phone touched his ear.
"Well Tails have fun with your date with, Cosmo." Then an idea come to him for payback for the best man comment that Tails asked him earlier today. A mischievous smirk came on his normally carefree expression on his face. He knew that this will embarrass his little brother but he also known that Tails would know that his only kidding. "Okay Tails, if you sleep with her tonight. Remember to wear a rubber," Sonic teasing while he starts to laugh knowing that Tails was blushing at the joke. He feeling pretty rotten for teasing the poor boy but he had to get even with him.
The poor twin tails fox is blushing so hard that his whole face is red from the joke his big brother said. The teenage fox didn't think his older brother's joke to be funny at all. All he could hear was the laugher of the cobalt hedgehog on the other line. Then a few seconds of his best friend/big brother laughing at him latter Tails yells. "THAT WASN'T FUNNY, SONIC!"
Our hero stops his laughing fit after those words left the young fox's month. Once he stops laughing he says while he tries to catch his breath, "I'm sorry Tails. I was just joking around with ya. Besides that was for them, 'Can I be your best man?' Question you asked me and now we're even. Well…I've gotta get goin to get a rose for Amy. I'll c'ya latter Tails."
As those words left Tails' best friend's month his blush went away. "I'll c'ya latter then too Sonic," the twin tails fox says with a smile. Tails is mentally wishing his best friend luck with asking a certain pink hedgehog out on a date. He knew that once he gave her that flower and asks her out on a date. Amy would be the happiest girl on the plant. With that said Sonic hanged up the phone with a smile. He can alright image what her face is going to be like.
Sonic puts the phone on its charger and heads to the coffee table. The moment he made it to the table he grabs her keys and walks towards the front door. Once he is at the door he opens it and heads out to the front pouch. Before he can take off back towards Mystic Ruins where Tails and Cosmo's cabin is. He locks the front door so nobody can break in while Amy is sleeping. After he locks the door, he closes it and takes off at full speed to Mystic Ruins.
Meanwhile as our hero heads his way towards Mystic Ruins in Eggman's main base stands a very livid Eggman. The reason why you may ask is that he had them where he wanted them. But like always there was something unfortunately keeps him from success. He knew that he had one shot and one opportunity to carry out his plan. So when he shot the dart that is supposed to brain wash her but instead it was one of his knock out darts. He knew that he failed again and had to leave to find a certain little robot that he pacifically told to get the brain washing darts. He also told him what they looked like. The little robot's name is Mackie.
Now if he knows anything about his nemesis? Is that his blood is bolting because he hates to see anyone get hurt especially his friends that are close to him like a family he never had. He knows that most likely that our hero is heading towards his base now to pick a bone with him. A chili went down spin the egg-shaped man as he thinks about what in store for him when the blue blur gets here.
Once inside his main base he yells out at the top of his lungs. "MACKIE, GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!" Mackie is Eggman's assistant robot that is supposed to help him out. You see this isn't the first time Mackie has cost him a chance at victory over the Sonic Team. Ever since he built the little guy he always seems to mess something up.
Like today when he told him about what darts to loaded up the Egg-mobile up. Every time Eggman has given him the benefit of the doubt and let it slide. But he couldn't let him off the hook this time because he just sick and tired of all the mistakes this small robot keeps making. "I'm coming Eggman," Mackie called as he made his way towards where it sounded like where his master voice came from.
Mackie is a simple little robot with little pair of arms and legs. He has a pair of crimson red eyes. Like the Egg-mobile he wasn't painted any color but he still had the trademark logo of Eggman's painted on his chest. The tiny robot stood about a foot or so tall. For a robot he wasn't really all mean as the rest of them. He was rather a very sweet and innocent like that of a child.
Once the tiny robot found his master with a livid expression on face, sure he had seen his master mad at him but now he could tell that his more mad than usual. "Did you want to see me Master?" The tiny asked in a timid voice.
"What do you think, Mackie?" The egg-shaped man answered rudely with a question. He could feel his patients with this robot running very thin very fast when he asked that question. Come on he called his name so why wouldn't he think he wanted to see him. It made no scene to the evil genius whatsoever.
"Y-you want to have a word with m-me," the small robot stuttered more frighten than before. He knows that his master is going to yell at him for whatever reason. The fact is that he tries his best to do everything his master ordered him to perfection, but in the end he always seems to mess up in the end. The little robot has seen his master mad before but never this mad. He knows that whatever he did he might get dismantle for his mistake. That scared the little guy. He didn't want to be taken apart.
"Yes Mackie, I do want to have a word with you. What did I order you to do this morning Mackie," demand the oversize man. He wants to see what excuse comes out of the little robot. He knows that this little robot is fears of the thought of being taken apart. Right now taking him apart is going to be worth it for the egg-shaped man.
"Y-you told me t-t-to load the Egg-mobile with t-the b-brainwashing darts," the small robot stutters his reply. He starts to shake from the fear that this might be the end for him.
"THAN WHY DID YOU LOAD IT UP WITH THE KNOCK OUT DARTS?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF TROBULE YOU'VE PUT ME INTO," screams Eggman at the top of his lungs.
"I'm so s-sorry that I-"apologizes the tiny robot but was interrupt by his master.
"NOT AS SORRY AS YOU'RE GOING TO BE! NOW IF I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SONIC?! HE ISN'T TOO HAPPY THAT I KNOCKED OUT AMY! AT ANY MOMENT NOW HE IS GOING TO COME HERE DESTORY MY ROBOT ARMY AND ONCE HE IS DONE. HE IS GOING TO COME TO ME AND HE WON'T BE VERY NICE!"
"I'm so sorry, Master. I won't make another-"once again the miniature robot tried to apologize but is interrupts again.
"MACKIE, GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T DISMANTLE YOU RIGHT NOW!? I KEEP GIVING YOU CHANCE AFTER CHANCE TO MAKE UP FOR YOUR MISTAKES, BUT YOU KEEP ON MAKING MISTAKES?! ANSWER MY QUESTIONS YOU LITTLE RUNT." Never in his forty-five years of his life has he been as mad as he is now.
"P-please don't do that, Master? I promise that I'll d-do b-b-better next t-t-time," shutters the little guy as he makes a promise to his master.
"YOU ALWAYS SAY, 'THAT YOU WON'T MAKE ANOTHER MISTAKE.' AND I LET YOU OFF THE HOOK. THEN WHAT HAPPENS NEXT MACKIE?!" Scolded the oversize man a bit more irritated than before.
"I make another m-m-mistake. M-master, I t-t-tried my b-b-best to keep those p-promise, b-but in the e-e-end. I make an m-m-mistake. P-please don't take me a p-part," replies Mackie as he tries to reason with his master. The poor little guy is hoping that he can persuade his master don't to dismantle him.
As Eggman is looking at the defenseless robot before him, he found that he didn't have it in him to take apart this robot. He shouldn't put his finger on why all of a sudden that he isn't going to tear this robot. Normally Eggman didn't have a problem with striping down his robot back into nuts and bolts. Maybe it is the little bots sweet and innocence that are stopping him from taking apart Mackie. It could also be that the evil scientist isn't evil enough to take another being life away. But whatever it is he that is preventing him from doing so he couldn't allow him to keep making mistakes. This is the last straw for him.
"I won't take you apart Mackie. But what happened today is the last straw for me. You're not shut to serve me. I want you out of here. And I don't care if you rust you little runt," snaps the evil genius.
The tiny robot is now more frighten than earlier. He wonders what now lays in his future. What is he going to do now that he is being forces out of here? Who is going to take in the robot that seems like he can't do anything right? So many questions that he couldn't possible answer himself. "B-but Master-"the little robot tries to reason with Eggman on keeping him but is once again is interrupts by his master.
"MACKIE, GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND ON TEARING YOU APART," shouts Eggman at the top of his lungs. He is feeling the last of his patients with the mini robot running out. Why couldn't this robot understand that he is the biggest failure to the evil genus? That question is running though the mind of the bad scientist.
If robots can actually produces tears? Then this puny robot would be bawling his eyes out. Without a word the small robot left upset with itself. He is upset with himself because if failed his master once again and now he had nowhere to go. As he does so he wonders why things turned out like this. Why Eggman doesn't understand that he didn't mean to mess things up like this?
Has the tiny robot finally leaves the room Eggman takes a heavy sigh. He feels like a heavy weight has been removes from his shoulders. Now he had figure out what he is going to do when a certain blue hedgehog shows up. He wonders why is it that every time he is one step away from success. Something or someone always stops him from success.
Unknowingly to the oversize man a white hedgehog saw and heard everything that was said and done between the two. The white hedgehog decides to head towards his egg-shaped companion. The white hedgehog is wearing his usually black wife beater, black and white shoes, along with black jean-shorts. Both of his arms are covered in a sleeve of tattoos. The hedgehog's name is White Rose, the father of Amy Rose.
Ever since the day that Sonic beat up White. He has wanted more that anything is to see the cobalt hedgehog suffer. He has become crueler and colder has the days pass within the past month. The only Mobian that he should trust at the moment is the evil genius.
Once he got to the right side of the human. However Eggman was still trying to figure out a plan, on what to do when the blue blur shows up, to notice the albino hedgehog beside him. Noticing that the doctor was lost in his thoughts he asks, "So are you going to do now Doc?" Once he asks his question the evil doctor snaps of his thoughts.
"I honestly don't know," Eggman answers as he hangs his head down in frustration. He just wishes that things turned out like the way he plan them to for once.
"So the blue hedgehog is coming here soon," White asks alright knows the answer to his question.
"Yeah he'll be here and won't be too happy about what I did to your daughter. Why do you ask that question White," Eggman answers with a question of his own. He is curious about why his hedgehog companion.
"I was just curious that is all. But if the blue bastard is going be showing up here later Eggman? It might be a good thing for us," White replies with an evil smirk as he comes up with a sinister plan.
All Eggman could do is look at the white hedgehog dumbfounded. He is beyond confused at this point. Why would Sonic showing be a good thing? The doctor wonders if he has lost his mind. He should know how Sonic felt when his friends at harmed. He had to know why Sonic showing up here would be a good thing for them. "So enlighten me on why would Sonic showing up be a good thing for us? Do you remember the beating he gave you not to long ago when you hit Amy? You and I both know he isn't going to be very happy with me shooting a knock out dart at Amy."
"It's very easy Eggman. When he does show up? He is only going to be expecting you here. So I'm going to hind in the shadows with a dart gun loaded with the brain washing darts. When he is going towards you I'll shot him from the back. He wouldn't even see it coming," White answers with the same evil smirk as earlier.
The doctor starts to think about the plan. The more he thought about the Blue Blur under his control satisfy the genius. But he also knows the risk of this plan on using the element of surprise. He knows that they only get one shot at hitting him from behind. If he misses the shot him the Blue Blur with a brain washing dart? It would be game over for them. "I like your plan White but remember you only get one shot, one opportunity at hitting him. So make it count," Eggman states as he looks at his hedgehog companion with a serious expression.
The albino hedgehog cracks a smile at what his human companion said. "Don't worry about it Doc. I'll hit him with one," saying the albino hedgehog feeling confident in his ability in succeeding with his plan. Both human and hedgehog share an evil laugh as they see things going their way with a common enemy they shared.
Meanwhile back with our hero has he just made it back to Amy's house? Unlocking the front door and taking a step inside the two-story house. Once inside the house he turns around, closes the door and locks it. With that done he looks at the lavender rose in his left hand. As he looks at the beautiful rose he images Amy's face when she sees it. Just thinking about her face when she sees the rose puts a smile on our hero's face. Taking a sigh before he starting to walk at a fast pace to the stairs that lead to her room.
After a few seconds of quick walking up the stairs he in front of her bedroom door, reaching his right hand to the door knob and ever so slowly but quietly opens the door. Once the door was open enough for our hero to walk into the room he heads inside the room. The moment he is inside the room he turns on the lights and walks fast towards her nightstand. When our hero made it to her nightstand he puts the flower on it. The moment the flower is on the nightstand the cobalt hedgehog turns his attention to the sleeping pink hedgehog.
Then he notices that her bangs are covering her face so he starts to tenderly stroking her bangs off her face. As he does so Sonic still had the same smile on his face. After stroking the bangs off her face he speaks to her in a soft but sincere tone, "I'm so sorry that I was late today, Ames. I wish I was there to save you from being shot at. I'm not just only sorry for today but for all the pain I've caused you over the years. Tomorrow I promise you I'll make it up to you. Even if it's the last thing I do. I promise you that but until then sleep well, Ames." With that said leaves the girl's room quietly so she could continue to sleep.
Turning off the lights and exiting the room. Unknowingly to our hero the moment the door was closed Amy's peaceful sleep turned into a panic one, it was as if her dream transformed into a terrible nightmare. She closes her eyes tighter as she starts to tossing and turning in her sleep. She than starts to sweating as tears begin to fall out of her eyes and then murmuring in an almost inaudible, "Please Sonic, come back to me?"
After leaving the slumbering sakura hedgehog's room our hero quickly heads downstairs. Then going to the front door and opening it. Next the cobalt hedgehog talking a step outside of the house, locking and closing the door behind him, before running at full speed towards Green Hill Zone. A few seconds later the blue hedgehog is in front of two palm trees with a hammock in between both of them. Underneath the hammock is a chest with a lock. This is where our hero lives.
To the young hedgehog having a house or apartment made him feel like he was being trapped. Beside he felt a lot freer in the wide open space of nature. When the weather is too bad Sonic to stay at his place? He heads to Tails' cabin to stay the night in his guess room. Tails and Cosmo are the only two to know where the cobalt hedgehog to live at. That's the way he wants to keep it. He knows that his friends would invite him to stay with them at their place. But he didn't want to be a burden to them so he chooses to stay here.
Making his way to the hammock; once he is there goes on his knees, grabs the chest that is underneath the hammock and pulling it towards him, taking off his right shoe, when the right shoe is off and puts his hand in it. When his hand is inside the shoe? He starts to feel for the key for the chest. A second or two the blue hedgehog pulls out a little golden key. Taking the golden key, unlocking the chest and with the chest open it revealing a blue chaos emerald.
Back when the blue hedgehog made it to Tails' cabin. He decided that he should pay a visit to a certain evil, egg-shaped genius. Sonic wants to give Eggman his two cents on what he did to Amy earlier. He planned to drop off the rose and afterword head back to his place to get the blue chaos emerald. Once he got that he would chaos control to Eggman's base.
Grabbing the blue emerald out of the chest and taking a heavy sigh. Ever since leaving Amy's room moments ago he felt this dreaded feeling. Sonic shaking his head as if he is shaking out the negative out of his head. He had to stay positive if he is going to Eggman's base. The cobalt hedgehog knows where most of Eggman's bases are, but more importantly he is the only one in the Sonic Team that knows where his main base is located at.
He barely goes there because he wants Eggman to give him the best that he's got. Sure a lot of Mobian if they known about the Blue Blur knowing where Eggman's main base, would disagree with him not finishing off the evil genius. But where was the fun in finishing off the war with him.
Closing his eyes and in a flesh the blue hedgehog is in Eggman's main base. Opening his eyes again and seeing that he is there, but before he could do anything about a dozen robots surrounding him. With quick thinking the cobalt hedgehog curled into a ball and started revving up like a supercharged engine, before blasting off at the on slut of robots. The blue blur destroying all the robots in mere seconds with ease. After his work is done with Eggman's toys the blue speedster stands in the middle of all the carnage with a cocky smirk on his face. A second later our hero took off at full speed heading towards Eggman's control room.
In a blink of an eye the cobalt speedster runs inside the control room. The inside of the room had no light expect the light coming off a computer in front of the evil man with his back towards him. Once inside the room he puts the blue emerald in one of his quills. Something didn't feel right to the cobalt speedster for some reason as he coming inside the room some more. Unknown to the Blue Blur he it wasn't only him and Eggman. White Rose is at a corner of the room that the light didn't reach. The albino hedgehog is now wearing a jet black pullover hoodie, with a pair of black shoes and sweatpants. He had the small and loaded gun in his packet of sweatpants.
The blue hedgehog walks towards the evil genius with a serious expression. The moment when the cobalt hedgehog is close enough to the egg-shaped man he says, "Oh Egghead, I gotta bone to pick with ya." The blue hedgehog calls the oversize man by rather the names 'Eggy' or 'Egghead.'
Eggman tears his attention from his laptop to his unwelcoming visitor. The evil scientist puts on a fake surprise expression the moment he saw the blue hedgehog. "Ah Sonic what a surprise that you made it here. What brings you all the way here," the large man greets the Blue Blur.
"You know damn well why I'm here Eggy," the blue hedgehog snaps. The blue speedsters feeling like is already lack of patient being push to their limits.
"Now Sonic I didn't mean to shot her. It was accident I swear to you, Sonic," explains the egg-shaped man with a fake fear tone. He knows that he had to act normal so his unwanted visitor doesn't get suspicious. Has all of this is happening a certain albino hedgehog is pulling out the dart gun from his pocket. White is taking the gun out as silent as a mouse and at a slow pace that is reminiscent of a turtle. The white hedgehog rises the gun up and aims it at the cobalt hedgehog, ready to shot him.
"You know I want you to apologize to her, Eggman. And don't ever want-" Sonic stats to ordering the Eggman around. But before he could finish the blue hedgehog feels a sharp on his back. Instantly blue speedster starts feeling like his insides was being electrocuted. Falling on his hands and knees and letting out an agony scream. The large man watches the sicken scene with a smirk while a twisted laughter filled the room. The cobalt speedster turns he head towards the direction where the laugh is coming from. The albino hedgehog steps out of the shadows of the room and pulls down his hood so the Blue Blur could see who shot him. The blue hedgehog eyes widen when he saw who the Mobian that shot at him was. "What did you shot at me," asking the white hedgehog before him while Sonic is trying to not show any signs of pain. But his attempt is futile as it was hard asking him that simple question. Sonic closes his eye has hard as he could. Unknown to our hero his cobalt fur starts to change into a very dark navy blue. A shade of blue that is on the borderline of black.
"Well I'll answer your question Sonic. You see Mr. Rose here shot you with my new invention the brain washing dart. You see once this drug in inserted into your blood stream. The molecules of the drug head into your brain for better control. Once it makes it to the brain it starts a chain of changes in your body. Then finally you don't have control over your body anymore and you become my slave," to answer the once cobalt hedgehog's question is none other than the evil genius.
Sonic couldn't believe what he is hearing. He being Eggman's slave sickens the navy blue hedgehog to his stomach. "You...can't control me...I won't let you," states with all his strength the navy blue hedgehog while he keeps his eyes shut. The pain starts skyrockets to a whole level for the almost black hedgehog.
"Sorry Blue Bastard but you and all of your friends, family will be our slaves for the rest of your lives," states the albino hedgehog as he smirks as he is enjoys watching the once cobalt hedgehog suffer. Sonic tries to stand up on his freewill and punch both the hedgehog and human before him. But he had one last thought came to him and that is Amy's beautiful jade green eyes. But the thought didn't last long before he knows it his mind cleared of all thought. As his mind starts to clear Sonic feels all emotions disappears and is replace with an emptiness feeling.
Opening his eyes but they weren't their normal emerald-green eyes, but a dark and emotionless crimson red. The crimson and emotionless eyes are the signal that Sonic is now in Eggman's control. "Stand up now Sonic," ordering the evil genius grinning to ear to ear. After these years he finally beats Mobian's greatest hero of all time. In all of his forty-five years of his life he had ever felt as good as he feels now.
"Yes Master," replies emotionless is the almost black hedgehog as he stands up own two feet again.
What's going to happen next time on Remember Me. A lot of news for me in this chapter that another reason why this chapter took so long for me to finish. Like the fight scene with the girls against Eggman and his robot. Now if that segment sucks I'm sorry it was my first time writing a fight scene.
