What was beneath her was cold and, surprisingly, she didn't hurt at all. Letting her eyes flutter open, Trinity lay there, wherever 'there' was, and took in what little here eyes could see. The sky was a dusty red color, signaling that it was now evening and that she had been asleep for quite a while. Evening was such a pretty color... Evening... Evening!? With a start, she attempted to stand. It was a strange sensation that washed over her as she didn't make it much farther than propping herself up on her knees.
"Why can't I move!?" she was staring at the ground in a panic when something caught her attention. Shifting somewhere over to her left was ... that damned rabbit guy. "You! What did you do!?"
With an extremely happy smile, one that disturbed Trinity, he pranced over to her. "Just as I promised, my dear. I'll explain everything now that we're here."
"Damn straight you will."
"Now, now. There's no need for language like that," he knelt in front of her, fishing his hand into his pocket.
Trinity eyed him suspiciously. "Take me home."
"I'm afraid that's impossible, however," he pulled his hand out from his inside coat pocket. Held tenderly in a gloved hand was a small glass vial filled with a strange liquid. "Please drink this. Do so, and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have."
"Why would I do a stupid thing like that? Who knows what the hell that is," she gave him a squinty glare.
He popped the heart shaped cap off the vial and smiled at her. That smile, while there was nothing visually wrong with it, gave her the shivers. He was planning something and she'd have no part in that. When she seen that he was bringing the glass to his lips, Trinity instinctively reached for it. When she downed the entire contents of the vial, the expression the man wore was in absolute shock. He blinked a few times before giving a disappointed moan and she blinked a few times in her shock at how easily she fell to whatever he was planning.
"Aw... And here I was hoping for a touching, romantic kiss with Miss Trinity," he stood to his full height, placing a hand to his chin.
"H-How do you know my name? And what was that stuff?" Trinity slowly wobbled to her feet, finally able to make full use of her legs.
"I love you, so of course I know your name, Miss Trinity. But aren't you curious as to who I might be?"
"Great. A kidnapper and a stalker..." Facing him, messy brown locks were reassembled over her shoulder and he was on the brunt end of a dangerous stare. "I-"
An eager smile was suddenly all she could see. This man's face was so very close to hers as he attempted to embrace her. "If you're curious then- Gwuahh!" Flying across the stone platform they were on were a pair of white bunny ears and a body that followed. He rolled a few times before skidding to a stop. The rate of which the man rebounded back to his feet was astonishing, to say the least. Cradling his face in his hand, he turned to face Trinity with teary eyes and a pout. Those droopy ears almost fooled her. With a sigh, however, he stood up and calmed himself. Opening his arms wide he gestured to the entirety of the world around them with a gentle smile. Trinity was beginning to question his motive when he began speaking. "Welcome to Wonderland, Miss Trinity. That potion you drank so eagerly just now was the potion of hearts. Once you drink it, you must participate in the Game."
"Game..?"
"Hey did you know..."
"That games always have rules?"
"It's decided from the beginning."
There was a slight twitch of pain in her temple, which Trinity raised a hand to touch. Those words, she'd been hearing an unfamiliar voice say them over and over, though she was never able to really comprehended what they were and what they meant until just now. But what was this game he was talking about? And where the hell was this 'Wonderland'? Sounded like some made up place, if you asked her. The sound of footsteps brought her out of her thoughts and back into with she assumed was a twisted reality. Gently, a hand was placed atop her head. Looking up, Trinity looked into the red eyes of the pervy stalker rabbit that lay behind the round lenses of his glasses.
"I just want you to be happy," he spoke with such a gentle tone and smile that Trinity was caught by surprise.
That seemed to be the tend today. Endless buckets of surprises. First she was kidnapped by none other than a man with bunny ears. Who turned out to be a coy perv. And a stalker. Since when did she have a stalker to begin with!? Though she had to admit that he was at least good to look at, despite the fact that his personality was quite distasteful. Watching him carefully as he made his way to what looked like the only door around, he stopped at the door frame and looked over his shoulder.
"My name is Peter, by the way. Peter White. You should visit me in Heart Castle once you've taken in the sights."
With that, he was gone. What an odd character. One minute, he's all over her pissing her off, and the next, he's calm and collected and giving her advice. What an odd, irritating person. If one could even consider a being with bunny ears a 'person'. Wondering over to the ledge of the stone platform she'd been standing on, Trinity peeked over the edge. In the distance, there were a few things that stuck out. One of them more-so than others, but whether her hunch was right or not would have to be confirmed later. The rosy color of the evening sky made it a little difficult to discern. But on the other hand, from what Trinity could see, she was at the top of a tower that also... served as a clock? Two large clock hands jutted out from somewhere in the middle of the tower and pointed at one of the ... twelve pillars that surrounded the tower. In a way, it reminded her of the tall clock tower in the garden she was sleeping in until not too long ago.
"Tobi..." Blue eyes looked at the hands that rested on stone. She totally blew their play-date. "I wonder how long he waited there before he figured I wasn't going to come. Poor guy. But what if... What if he's still there!" Trinity flipped around to come face-to-face with a dark-clad man. It startled Trinity so bad, that if she wasn't in control of her voice at that moment, she would have screamed. He was wearing such an unhappy expression, it was obvious that her being there bothered him.
"Leave."
"Excuse me?"
"Leave. Go home."
"Well excuse me. Sorry for bothering you."
Without another word, she descended the tower and entered what appeared to be a town square. Every step she took was another grumbled word muttered only to herself. This was turning out to be a rather unfortunate day. Through the town and off on to some road, Trinity set her path. Where it was leading, she didn't really know, but anywhere was better than there. With the creeper bunny and rude clock guy (or so she assumed he was some sort of clock guy with the over-sized watch hanging from his neck), she didn't want to be around there anymore.
It didn't take her long to get lost, which she didn't even want to admit to herself. Staying on her path, Trinity was wandering aimlessly through a patch of trees, letting her eyes roam over everything. Everything looked so foreign, though nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Just how far was she taken? Perhaps she should have asked for directions... Reaching the edge of the tree line, her feet stopped themselves at what she seen before her.
An amusement park.
In the middle of no where.
But what caught her attention wasn't the park itself, but what she heard. Gun shots. And a lot of them. The sound alone convinced her to stay back. Her younger brother wouldn't have been too happy to learn his Big Sis was shot down in some foreign place. He'd definitely scold her for being careless, though it would make for an interesting story. Perhaps taking a peek at what was going on wouldn't hurt?
