What is with all these "first meeting" prompts!?

81. Phinessa, First Meeting, Romance (requested by fangirl1699)

Many of you probably think Phineas and Vanessa met in the special, Summer Belongs To You! But no, that's where you're totally wrong!

Here's the real story. It dates back to when Phineas was in kindergarten, and Vanessa was going into fifth grade.

Phineas Flynn was running around with his new friend, Isabella. But there was a crack in the ground…

"WAHHHHHHHH! MOMMY!" he cried.

"Oh no!" Isabella panicked. "Phineas, I'll go get the teacher!"

He sniffed, tears running down his face. "It hurts so bad…I need a band-aid." he whispered.

"Are you okay?"

He looked up. Hovering above him was a girl dressed in black, no older than 12. Maybe 11 or possibly 10?

"Here he is!"

Isabella and the teacher came over.

"Phineas, what happened?" the teacher asked.

"I fell! It hurts so bad!" Phineas complained.

"Oh no! We gotta get you to the nurse's office. It looks like a bruise is forming."

Sure enough, there was a bruise just above Phineas' knee, as big as an analog stick.

"But first, let's put a band-aid on your knee; it will prevent dirt from seeping into the wound." the teacher recommended.

Phineas didn't understand half of the words, but he nodded in agreement.

"Luckily," the girl dressed in black started, "I have a band-aid right here." She pulled one out of her pocket.

"Why, thank you, Vanessa!" The teacher took the band-aid and put it on Phineas' bruise. "That's very kind of you."

"Oh, it's nothing," Vanessa replied. "My parents always tell me to bring an extra band-aid, just in case."

As the teacher, Phineas and Isabella left, Candace came up to Vanessa.

"Are you okay, Vanessa?" she asked. "You have a lovestruck look in her eyes."

Vanessa snapped out of it. "No, I'm fine," she lied.

"He's just cute."

And that's also how Candace and Vanessa really met, for your information. And also how Phineas and Vanessa later got together :)

313 words. The second longest chapter so far, after "Perry & Pinky, Rescue". I made a rule at the beginning of the series - no drabble goes over 300 words. Oh well!
