Chapter 6

We were in the closet staring at each other. " I'm sorry about what I said earlier Dimitri."

" Yea, whatever Rosemarie, your not sorry you said it. Your just sorry I got upset. You know , You don't know anything about me." I laughed.

" are you kidding me. When you first met me you assumed I was some high classed brat."

" you are. Do you see what kind of place you live in. You closet is bigger than my dorm room. You have shit delivered, shipped, and unpacked for you with a snap of finger. You will never have to work for what you want."

I pointed my finger at his chest. " you think your so much better than me dimitri. Well your not. Just because you have good hair and a nice body..doesn't mean your any better than I. If anything your just like me. Out of control. Can't control your temper you think you have it all figured out but you don't..." he grabbed the same finger I was pointing at him with and pinned it to the wall. Then he came really close to my face.

" Shut up little girl. You know nothing about me. Don't even think you do. You don't know anything about how I live my life. So don't say you do" he yelled. I'm pretty sure they could hear us screaming at each other outside. I looked him dead in the eyes and fucked up my life. I kissed him. He quickly responded. Pinning my body to the wall. " I don't know Mason, Rose has a certain... Glow around her. Maybe she finally let go of the v-card. " Tasha said.

Dimitri quickly looked up " your a virgin?" I nodded my head. We didn't speak for the rest of the game but at around three o'clock the boys got up to leave.

" Rose, can I speak to you for a second? Please." Dimitri asked while the guys were walking out the door. He didn't wait for me to answer. He just walked to my room. I followed him and saw him pacing around my bed with his thumb and index finger pinching the bridge of his nose. I sat down on my bed and waited for him to stop. After not stoping for ten minutes I was pretty sure he was going to pace a hole through the floor. He stopped and looked at then sat down on the bed. He sighed and put his fingers on his temples and laid back.

" Rosemarie, why didn't you tell me you were a... Virgin?" he asked without looking up. I rubbed my arms and sighed.

" I didn't think I was important at the time."

"Not Important? Rose that's the most sacred and precious thing a girl could have. You should lose it to someone you love. Someone Who is guaranteed to love you back. I'm not that guy, we barely know each other. I'm glad we were stopped those first two times because this could never happen again."

" Never happen again?"

" That's what I said Rose"

" Dimitri that's crazy. Did you love the girl you lost yours too?" he opened his eyes then. He looked... Pained.

" Yea Rose, I did."

" What happened to her" he swallowed and didn't meet my eyes.

" It was so sudden. One second she was laughing and smiling and the next... Nothing" his voice broke on the last word. I wanted to comfort him but I couldn't. I didn't know how too. I knew I shouldn't have but my mind and my body wasn't functioning properly today. I turned his head towards me.

" I'm here Dimitri. Tell me about her." he closed his eyes tight and a tear slid down his face.

" She was so amazing. So funny and sexy and demanding. But she was so stubborn. She annoyed the crap out of me and I broke up with her. That day. That day I broke up with her and she... She ran into the street. Crying. I tried to stop her. To stop the truck but, I couldn't . I wasn't fast enough... Rose, you have to find someone you love. And hold on to that person. Because they could just leave and never return. " I looked into my hands and nodded. He grabbed my chin to make me look up at him.

" I'm serious Rose. We can't be together... Physically." I snatched my chin away. I was sick of him saying that. It wasn't like I liked him or anything. I went into the living room where the others were. I sat on the sofa and waited for dimitri to come in before I grabbed the remote and turned on the television.

"You can let your self out." I said without looking up. Jill and Lissa excused themselves while Mia sat next to me and glared at dimitri.

" Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out" Kim said sitting next to Mia on the sofa. Three hours here and she already knew when we were upset with others. I liked her. Dimitri growled but went into my room and grabbed his jacket. Lissa and Jill came back in and sat On the make shift bed made of pillows and blankets.

" Bye Rose" dimitri said

" Night Russian," I said turning off the tv and getting on the floor with everyone else. When I heard the door shut we all sat up to talk about what happened.
