Hey, I'm back! I know you must all hate me for not updating but I've been grounded this whole time. In fact, I still am. I would just like to give my thanks for all you who have stuck with me even after this long gap of not updating. I've also found some spelling errors and typos. when I fully get my computer back I will fix them.

I'm sure you don't like long authors notes so on with the story.

Tsuna's POV

I actually got an easy nights sleep last night. I was not haunted by nightmares nor did i go to sleep at some ungodly hour. I finished my big job as well. All that's left to do is relax and let the others have fun. We have enough money to at least last a year before having to go on another job and the only other things we would have to worry about are pesky students and neighbors and somebody who is trying to stalk me if you get my drift.

My day was going fairly well. Everybody's mood was chipper than normal and I had a slight, rare smile on my face seeing my two most important people happy. But we all know that nothing lasts forever, some more so than others. My good mood was officially ruined when we got to school. One of the things I hate most about humans is their curiosity and their tendency to forget that people need personal space. I must've been putting out some pretty dark vibes though because nobody was actually approaching me, just watching from afar. I made my way over to one of the many sakura trees that littered the school's campus and climbed up onto one of the branches. I waved Tora and Yang away, allowing them to do what they wanted seeing as this was a rare opportunity for them. I've been noticing that they've been looking at each other more often. I wish them luck, they deserve to find love in the dark world we live in. Everybody needs a light at the end of the tunnel, even if it is small.

Before they left Yang looked over at me and asked if I was alright. Tora, not liking the way the question was being asked, and smacked him over the head. Hard. then dragged him away shouting 'thanks', practically jumping for joy. I took in the silence that came with them leaving greeting me with a silent gust of wind. It seems like the world was against me though as a few minutes later a group of people with Reborn at the head was walking over to my tree. I don't think they noticed me seeing as they sat down right under the tree and started a conversation that included laughing and jokes, the air around them became warm. As I watched, I realized something. I wanted something like that. To be carefree, free of my shadows and to just be able to live in a nice warm environment without my fears chasing me at every corner. But I knew better than that. I couldn't afford to be ignorant for even a second for someone might come and find me during my weakest moments. As the conversation continued, I noticed that Reborn was getting more and more fidgety and his eyes flicked back and forth from his friends to the front of the school as if waiting for someone to appear. His friends eventually caught on and the black haired boy with the base ball bat looked up at me discreetly. He knows I'm up here.

"Hey, Reborn, what's wrong ? Who are you looking for?" The silver haired boy smoking the cigarette asked a bit worriedly.

Reborn let out a sigh. "Ah, well, you know the new kid?" The group nodded. "I kinda, well... have a crush on him." He said with a faint blush and hid his face with his hat. The black haired kid from before glanced up at me once more.

"Which one?" The same kid asked. Reborn mumbled out the answer. "Sorry, could you repeat that, I didn't hear you."

"Tsuna." He blushed harder. This was getting pretty amusing.

"Tsuna?! Tsuna?! Why the hell would you like Tsuna?! He's rude, barbaric," 'sounds like you.' someone said though who I don't know. "he even punched you in the face!"

"Ah, well those are the sides that you see. I see more. Far more. He's like us. Seen more than a kid our age should. I believe that exterior he shows everyone is just a mask, you know, to protect him."

I jumped down from the tree, making my presence known to the others save for the one kid. "Well, you're wrong. you know nothing about me so stay away if you know what's good for you. I don't know why I have to keep repeating myself. If you get hurt it's not my fault." I turned around and started walking back towards the school when I sensed a violent presence. I quickly pinpointed it and was already working a planning my mind.

"Hey, get back he-" The silver haired boy was cut off in shock when I quickly turned around and threw one of my carefully stashed throwing daggers. It hit the target intended and the dead body fell out of the bushes, dagger planted in the middle of the forehead. Everybody stared at me in shock and I think the boy with the pineapple hair got a nose bleed, for what reason I don't know. I pushed the small button of the radio that was hidden in my ears and said,

"Tora, Yang, get over here as soon as possible. We have something that needs to be properly disposed of. No questions asked. Judging by the way he was dressed he was either the mafia or an assassin. We will have to be on guard more so than usual. be prepared." I disconnected the radio and turned to my audience. "Now what to do with you lot. Now I will give you a choice. You will either keep you mouth shut or I can wipe your memories. If you tell anybody you will be seriously hurt. If you choose for me to wipe you memories, you will most likely be hit in the head with a big rock. It will be a pleasure for me if you choose choice two. But then there is always choice three." I said suggestively.

"What is it?" The little boy in thee cow costume asked timidly. Is he even in high school? he looks only to be five.

"You die." their expressions gave me pleasure.

"I'd like to live." The purple haired girl with the eye patch spoke out for the first time. Everybody gave their version of wanting the first choice.

"Now that that's done, I will hold you to your word." Tora and Yang ran up to me. "Well, duty calls. See ya, and remember. Trap. Shut." I walked over to the body and pulled out my dagger and put it in its proper spot in my jacket after cleaning it.

Yang and I picked the body up and began moving it for disposal. Tora sprinkled water on the grass, thinning the blood out to the point it was unnoticeable. She looked up to the group and smirked. "Why don't you little lambs run off. I believe Hibari was looking for you. Said something about 'Biting the herbivores to death.' whatever that means." she let out a small laugh and followed us to the woods. On our way, I heard pineapple head say to his friends 'Oh~ he's a sexy and feisty bunny.' judging by the loud noise that came after he said that, I think he got slapped.

Even though the relaxing day I was supposed to be having was ruined, I had fun none the less. I even learned a few things about myself though I'm not sure that's a good thing. All that's left to do is find out how these new things will affect my future, good or bad.

Sorry it's really short and probably really lame, but it's better than nothing. Again, please forgive me for not updating and thank you for sticking with me through and through. I love you all.
