Here's chapter 12 everybody.
Chapter 12: Family.
It's been 3 years since Daffy and few members of the LRF stopped Hans, and Daffy's love for Tina has grow more, but now, his love for Tina is growing even more cause they will soon start their own family and have children of their own. It's February 20, 2021, and right now Daffy and Tina are anxious. They are expecting their bundles of joy. Both have been laying on their eggs for 28 days and they are expecting their ducklings to hatch today. Anyway, it was morning and both woke up from their nest that they build in their bedroom. Daffy went to the bathroom while Tina continue to lay on the eggs. Both did their morning routines, except one has to lay on the eggs. Everything was normal up to the afternoon. Tina was laying on the eggs while Daffy was pacing back and forth waiting for that big moment.
"I can't wait for our ducklings to hatch." Daffy said.
"I know. We have been waiting for this, when we have a family of our own." Tina said.
"I hope mom and dad arrives before they hatch." Daffy said.
"Same here." Tina said.
A knock was the heard at the front door.
"It's probably them." Daffy said.
Daffy went downstairs to answer the door. A minute later, he returns with his parents Daniel and Rebecca, and Tina's parents Frank and Susan.
"Okay, they haven't hatch yet, so you're on time." Daffy said.
"Oh, congratulations!" Rebecca said as she hugs Tina and Daffy.
"Thanks." Daffy and Tina said.
"How are you all feeling?" Frank asked.
"A little nervous." Daffy said.
"Everything will be fine." Susan said.
"Don't worry, son. I know how you feel right now." Daniel said.
Tina continued to lay on the eggs while the future grandparents wait. Daffy and Tina would switch places time to time if they have to go to the bathroom or want a snack. Then, at 5 o' clock, Tina was sitting on the eggs when she felt a bump from under her. She check the eggs and later sees a crack on one of them.
"Everyone, they're hatching!" Tina said.
Everyone came to see Tina getting off of the eggs and seeing the crack on one of them.
"Oh my God. They're hatching!" Rebecca said excitedly.
More cracks then form. Then a duck's foot emerge from the shell.
"There's the foot." Tina said excitedly.
Then, one of the arms, or wings, appeared, revealing the black feathers. Then the other feet appeared and the other arm. The duckling that is still inside then is moving. Then its head managed to break through the shell.
"AWWW!" Rebeeca and Susan squealed.
The duckling tried to walked but trips since its legs are still not fully out, resulting in the egg finally breaking, revealing its full body. It cries. Tina then picks him up and she and Daffy looks at their duckling with a tearful smile.
"It's a boy." Tina said.
"Don't celebrate yet. The other egg is hatching.
Everyone then sees the other egg starts to crack open. A duck's foot emerge from the shell. Then, one of the arms, or wings, appeared, revealing the yellow feathers. Then the other feet appeared and the other arm. The duckling that is still inside then is moving. Then its head managed to break through the shell.
"AWWW!" Rebecca and Susan squealed.
The duckling also tried to walked but trips since its legs are still not fully out, resulting in the egg finally breaking, revealing its full body. It cries. Daffy then picks her up and he and Tina looks at their ducklings with a tearful smiles on their faces
"It's a girl." Daffy said
Daffy and Tina managed to make their ducklings stop crying and both looks at their parents with curious looks on their faces. Daffy and Tina looks at them back. The male had black feathers with a white ring around his neck, black eyes, and orange legs and beak. The female had yellow feathers, black eyes, and light orange legs and beak and brown hair.
"Oh, Daffy, I'm so happy." Tina said with a tear in her eye.
"They're beautiful." Daffy said.
"The male looks like you." Tina said.
"The female looks like you." Daffy said.
"They're so adorable." Daniel said.
Rebecca and Susan had tears in their eyes.
"Mom, Susan, what's wrong?" Daffy asked.
"Oh, Daffy. The boy looks like you when you were hatch." Rebecca said.
"And the girl looks like you Tina, when you were hatch." Susan said.
"Anyway, what are you gonna name them, Daffy?" Tina asked.
"For the boy, I was thinking Plucky, and no, I am not naming him after our friend Plucky. And for the girl, Tinana." Daffy said.
"Plucky and Tinana it is then." Tina said. "Hi Plucky, hi Tinana."
"Congratulations you two." Daniel said.
"Thanks Daniel." Tina said.
"Thanks dad." Daffy said.
Daffy then had something in his mind.
"Everyone, when I formed the LRF, I vowed to myself that I would protect Tina at all costs. Now, as the leader of the LRF and as the LRF Fighter, I will protect my family at all costs." Daffy said in a determined tone.
"Yes, just as I will be there to support you and our children." Tina said.
With that, Daffy and Tina will now start their role as father and mother.
