Okay... Maybe procrastinating on his feelings wasn't Iceland's best idea. Now it was Wednesday and Iceland still didn't have a plan. And to top everything off, Iceland had classes with Hong Kong all day today. Fucking perfect…

Iceland sat in the almost empty Geography classroom, thinking. His first class, Chemistry, got cancelled but luckily, Hong Kong still had Physics. So, Iceland still had time to think of a plan.

'Okay so, what are my options?'

Iceland tapped his chin in thought, 'Well, running away or hiding isn't going to get me anywhere. Ignoring him is only going to make him suspicious and it's impossible to do. Telling him is completely out of the question so…'

The silver-haired teen sighed, 'So where does that leave me…?'

Iceland heard the classroom door open while he was sulking. A few more students came in; some greeting people, some starting conversations or some just slumped to their desks.

Iceland looked to his watch, 'Damn, only 8 more minutes until the 2nd period. I have to think of something before he comes here…!'

Iceland sighed again, running his hands through his tousled hair. Thoughts and ideas rushed in and out of his head but nothing seems to stick.

Suddenly, the bell rang; startling the silver-haired boy out of his thoughts. The loud ringing stopped after a minute, being followed by a brief silence and then the sound of mass movement erupting throughout the school building.

'What? My 8 minutes is up already…?'

Iceland sat there for a second before moving his attention to the sound of the classroom door open. Students entered the classroom slowly and a few at a time, like a stream of water trickling through gaps in between large rocks. Soon, a familiar face appeared and slipped through the crowd; making his way to Iceland. The person was said boy he had been dreading to see…

Iceland let his hands drop into his lap, 'Fuck. Time's up…'

"Hey, Ice."

"Hey…"

A yawn escaped the brunette's lips as he threw his bag on the desk next to Iceland, plopping down in the chair.

"So, how was Chemistry?" he continued, rubbing his eyes.

"I didn't have it, the teacher wasn't there." Iceland responded.

Hong Kong nodded, looking through his messenger bag, "Ah, lucky you. I wish my lesson got cancelled…"

The Icelander let out a small laugh, "So, how was Physics anyways?"

Hong Kong shrugged, placing his notebook on the table, "Nothing exciting, really. The teacher just made us do sums in our books, nothing I couldn't have done at home…"

Iceland nodded along sympathetically, "I understand..."

"Alright, everyone, it's Geography time~!" The teacher sang out, prancing into the classroom, "I hope you're all ready to learn! Okay, let's get started!"

Hong Kong let his head fall onto his desk and mumbled disapproval into his books, making the Icelandic laugh internally.

'Wait a second… What just happened?'

Iceland froze, slowly turning his head to the Asian.

'How was I able to talk to him so casually just now…? It was almost like I…-'

The Icelander's eyes widened as a realization washed over him.

'Oh my god… I did forget. That's it! That's the solution!'

Of course, it was so obvious! All Iceland had to do is forget his feelings and act casual! That way he could avoid causing any more problems and the painful awkwardness.

The Icelander slumped into his chair and sighed in content. Hong Kong was looking at him, raising an eyebrow; silently asking 'what is it?'

Iceland shook his head, a small smile on his face as he mouthed back 'Nothing.'

"Ugh…Glad that's finally over…" Hong Kong moaned, stretching out and slumping over his desk.

Iceland smiled curtly to himself, glancing at the brunette as packed up his things, "Was it honestly so horrible?"

"I'm sorry but that man is too chipper for me; whether I've slept last night or otherwise. He makes my head throb…" Hong Kong deadpanned, staring blankly at bouncy blonde sitting at his desk, chatting with a student.

The Icelander shook his head, "How long did you stay up this time?"

Hong Kong's eyes turned back to his friend, "5 am…"

Iceland raised his eyebrows at this, "Doing what exactly…?"

The Hong Konger shifted his eyes away, shrugging slightly, "Watching a series."

Iceland sighed, making Hong Kong look at him.

The brunette looked up coyly through his bangs, giving Iceland the look of a hurt puppy, "…It was, like, the last season, what else could I have done?"

"Oh, I don't know… Maybe shut your laptop and go to sleep?" The Icelander replied back sarcastically as he swung his bag onto his shoulder and turned to the door.

Hong Kong smirked, getting up from his desk and following him out, "Ha, that's funny, Ice. Like that was an option."

Iceland peered sceptically at the Asian, watching every wobble and stubble in his step, "Are you sure you don't want to go to the nurse's office to rest?"

Bleary honey brown coloured eyes shift playfully towards the Icelander.

"Only if you carry me there, darling~" Hong Kong cooed, a smile tugging on his light pink lips.

Iceland frowned, "Hong Kong, I'm being serious…"

The brunette waved his hand in the air, as if physically dismissing the thought, "I'm okay, Ice. If I take a small nap during recess, I'll be fine."

The Icelander paused, "…Alright, follow me." Taking hold of the Asian's wrist, he started forward.

"Huh? Where are we going? Don't we have class now?" The Hong Konger questioned, trotting behind his friend.

"Not anymore." Iceland curtly replied.

Hong Kong smiled in a cat-like manner, tilting his head to the side and peering at the Icelandic in playful suspicion, "Ehhh~? We're skipping class now? Wow, I never knew you were such a bad boy, Iceland."

The Icelander scoffed, looking back at his companion, "I think you are mistaking yourself for me, Hong Kong. We have a free lesson now."

'Though you're so tired, you don't even recall it…'

Hong Kong blinked for a second before smirking, "…Are you calling me a bad boy, Iceland?"

Iceland flushed, looking forward, "I-I was talking about the skipping class part…!"

The Hong Konger paid this comment no heed.

"My, my; I'm flattered, Ice. I really am~" he murmured, batting his eyelashes in a dramatically flirty yet sleepy fashion.

The Icelander grimaced.

'Even when he's half-asleep, he can tease me! What a dangerous guy…'

"Alright, we're here."

Hong Kong raised an eyebrow; a look of sleepy confusion crossed his face, "The library?"

Iceland let go of the Asian's wrist, turned and opened the door, "Yes, the library."

Holding the door open and turning back to the other, Hong Kong raised his hand back up again, offering it to him. The Icelander tilted his head in confusion.

Hong Kong lowered his hand slightly at his expression, "Oh…it's over now?"

Iceland looked at him in slight amusement, "What, you want me to drag you into the library as well?"

"I prefer the term 'escort' personally..."

The Icelander held in a laugh, "Do I honestly have to 'escort' you everywhere? What are you, a 'maiden'?"

Hong Kong gasped, over dramatically covering his mouth, "Whoa, Ice, sexist!"

The silver haired teen lifted his arms up in surrender, "Okay, I'll admit. What I said was uncalled for, I apologize."

"Yes, well, it quite was… You don't only have to be a female to be, like, escorted somewhere you know."

Iceland nodded, closing his eyes, "Of course, of course; you're absolutely right."

A small silence fell in between the two before Hong Kong broke it.

"…So you're going to escort me in now, yeah?"

The Icelander laughed before bowing his head and extending his hand to the brunette, "Of course, my princess." The sentence rolled off his tongue in such smooth and sweet manner you could almost forget it was drenched in sarcasm.

Hong Kong only smiled; placing his hand in Iceland's and muttered as he was tugged forward, "That's more like it…"

The teen rolled his eyes, lightly shaking his head at this, 'Idiot…'

As he guided him past the front desk and towards the tables, their hands were still connected, fingers lightly laced with one another. Hong Kong glanced down at their hands, smiling in triumph and amusement before noticing that Iceland was taking them into the maze of bookshelves.

"…We're not sitting at our regular table?" he commented.

"The librarian screams and skins you alive if she finds you asleep." The Icelander replied; turning a corner in the maze, eyes darting around searching for something, "So, unless that's your vision of a good time, I suggest we don't."

"…Yeah, I quite like my skin; thanks."

Iceland laughed, nodding and glancing back with a smirk on his face, "Good choice."

"Then where are we going?" Hong Kong asked, tilting his head in sleepy confusion.

"There must be a sitting area somewhere…" The silver-haired boy mumbled, eyes searching his surroundings.

Hong Kong hummed in acknowledgment, glancing around with him; reading the titles off the spines of books.

'The Natural Art of Carbonation, huh…'

"Ah, there…!"

Before the Asian could response, Iceland pulled him forward then pushed him down to sit on something soft and comfortably squishy (he assumed a settee).

"My, my, Iceland; moving quite fast, now aren't we? I'm afraid you have to court me first, dear, before we go any further~" he teased lightly, a flirty smile gracing his lips.

The Icelander rolled his eyes, letting out a breathy laugh before removing his messenger bag and plopping down beside the brunette, "Whatever, just go to sleep." He replied, looking for a book in the shelves near him.

Hong Kong closed his eyes, snuggling closer into the warm, comfy fabric of the settee.

'With pleasure…'

Author's note: I am so. SO. Sorry it took this long to update...! But I actually have a reason for it! At the beginning of the summer (somewhere in July, I think...?) my laptop broke down and I didn't get it back for 5-6 weeks! Hell, I thought I lost all my documents on this laptop too and had to start all over again. (Thank goodness I didn't 'cuz had already wrote about half of this chapter!) Then I started college right when I got it back so, didn't really have time to write. Though, I must admit, I could have update sooner but school, writer's block and laziness don't mix well...^^;;

But anyways, Thank you for reading, favouriting and/or liking this fanfic (and for putting up with my random update schedule...! ^-^;;;) And as always, reviews = love~! Bye, guys! :)
