Kurt went up to Blaine this time when he was done and handed him a towel, Kurt had been watching how dedicated Blaine was to his job and felt himself grow fonder of the boy by the minute, and it wasn't just because Blaine was a hot dancer... he wished he had that same drive and passion Blaine did to his singing rather than the worry he used all his mind set on for the bullies at school.

Blaine had finished with Teenage Dream and Glad you came by the Wanted. His face had been concentrating hard as though he was the one that needed to lose weight, body sweating and Kurt noticed his leg give way a couple of time as though he hurt it and felt concerned; Kurt also noticed how small Blaine's face looked, when in fact Blaine had been concerned about Kurt's weight. Kurt wondered how many people worried about Blaine. He had his friends and glee club, but he didn't know much about Blaine except his mother who he mentioned had been ill or is still ill and he has a bunch of friends he was supposed to meet that night but no mention of a significant other.

Blaine deserved to have good people in his life the way he treated others and Kurt hoped that he did. Taking his mind of Blaine's personal life Kurt enjoyed watching him whilst pretending to eye Mercedes and some of the other girls every now and then but mostly watching Blaine; he couldn't help but be intrigued.

He was beautiful, but Kurt knew that since day 1.

Blaine smiled at Kurt warmly as he gratefully wiped his face and hands so he could squeeze Kurt's right hand and whisper in his ear. "Thank you,"

Kurt regarded him with an honest expression "No problem,"

"You sing beautifully too, you beat me by a mile, I still can't believe you're a countertenor," Blaine mentioned confessing his amazement.

"You're not so bad yourself, and I did warn you. I'm quite talented," Kurt boasted. Blaine looked at him with a serious expression.

"Alright fine, you're amazing, but I'm still better," Kurt laughed and Blaine laughed along with him.

"You guys make a good team," Maureen told patting Kurt's shoulder on the way out.

"Good to see you Kurt," Mimi Hugged him on the way out. "You too Mimi," Kurt smiled back.

"What?" Kurt chuckled when considering the look Blaine was still giving him.

"You really are talented though Kurt, have you thought about applying for any colleges that does a Music degree?"

Blaine adverted his gaze finally as he asked this taking this time to get his gloves, being productive so he wouldn't get trapped underneath Kurt's eyes and grabbing his bag as he promised to take Kurt out for a coffee.

"I was actually going to apply for NYADA," Kurt confessed.

"Oh right, I think you mentioned that when I first met you," Blaine nodded in approval

"No that was just when our glee club hopefully wins, our next competition will be in New York,"

Blaine finally looked up at Kurt and held his eyes in a look that tried to say so much.

"I really believe you'll get in NYADA, their crazy if they don't let you in, but I hope you have fun in New York I wish I could go," He added somewhat as a side comment but that left Kurt wondering if there was a chance Blaine could join them.

Blaine was looking around for something when Kurt also brought out a fresh bottle of water.

"I bought you a cold drink on the way, it gets hot in here, and I know we all sweat after Zumba,"

Blaine looked surprised.

"You're amazing," He gushed taking it gratefully and suddenly he felt the need to kiss Kurt as Kurt looked so bashful at having so many compliments today.

"Hey where's mine?" Mercedes asked as she joined them. Kurt chuckled as he brought another one out from behind his back in his satchel and Mercedes beamed hugging him. "I don't feel so special now," Blaine pouted as he saw this interaction.

Kurt just laughed and it was the prettiest sound ever to Blaine's ears. Mercedes nudged Blaine hello too.

"It's good to see you Kurt, I'm sorry your dad couldn't do anything at school about the jocks yet, the glee club wanted me to tell you that they miss you," Mercedes added.

"Wait, seriously after all that?" Blaine asked furious after frowning and watching Kurt's reaction who didn't look phased at all.

Kurt sighed as he shrugged "Principal Figgins requires talking to everybody that was involved or knows about the incident so the school can investigate the situation before they can do anything, I'm not surprised that they couldn't do anything because not one teacher had noticed the bullies at our school even though they do it right in front of their faces since they began torturing us,"

Blaine shook his head unable to believe his ears.

"I'll go talk to him," He insisted.

"Blaine no, that's not necessary…" Kurt started and Mercedes looked like she wanted to argue along with Blaine so Kurt knew she was there for him as well but Blaine cut her to it.

"Kurt you need to be safe, Mercedes and I both know that," Blaine insisted putting an arm around the disagreeing boy and pulling him close despite his insides wanting to explode at the connection.

"I don't want you to get hurt," Blaine added rubbing his shoulder gently.

"None of us do Kurt, what they did was wrong and they shouldn't get away with it. I'm sorry I got to go to a family gathering tonight, ring me when you get home?" Mercedes said apologetically as Kurt nodded. She gave a look of approval to Blaine as well.

Mercedes didn't mention she wanted them to spend as much time alone as possible because she could see that Blaine wanted to talk to Kurt privately about their misfortunate date if it was any indication on when she arrived he asked if Kurt was still mad at him and that's when he spotted Kurt in the back as Mercedes told him to ask for himself.

Kurt looked at her as though asking her to leave now, shaking his head when Mercedes just smirked at him as Blaine wasn't looking.

"Bye boo," Mercedes kissed Kurt's cheek "Take care alright, and don't stay out too late!?" Kurt glared at her "Tell your mum I said hi, and that I hope she cooks the turkey the way I did last time," Kurt sneered. Blaine didn't need to know that he burnt that turkey and caused the kitchen to set fire because they had a different oven to the one at his house.

Blaine looked confused when Mercedes laughed and said "Don't count on it,"

"Bye Blaine!" She added with a blow kiss.

"Thanks for coming tonight Mercedes. I'm sorry the Friday classes started later than usual," True to their word they started coming to his other classes and it was even more packed than usual and probably because it was at the end of the week rather than the quiet Tuesday.

"No problem, dinners at 9 anyway, see you next week!" She waved.

Mercedes finally left the two boys alone by then all the class has disappeared.

Kurt followed Blaine out to his car after he requested they go to the Lima Bean since it was only 10 minutes from here and it closed at 11pm on Friday nights. Kurt agreed when Blaine assured he wouldn't force him to eat another sandwich.

He had to ring his dad to explain what was going on and in loud speaker Burt apologized to Blaine who was too nice for his own good. He felt safe with Blaine, his car was warm, quiet music interrupted the silence and the other boy enjoyed each other's company as Blaine asked every now and then if Kurt was okay and asking about what happened with the bullies when he got home from the hospital when they almost reached their destination.

Kurt explained how he had to stay in bed, and his dad let him have his friends come over who were really great but they felt terrible about letting him get locked up in the locker without their knowledge of what was going on. His dad went to the school the next day and he pretty much knows everything else.

"It wasn't their fault," Blaine said talking about his friend whilst glancing at Kurt when he stopped the car at the red lights. Kurt was looking ahead at the road so it gave Blaine a little time to admire the boy's well done hair, and impeccable clothes but when he got caught looking Blaine quickly turned back to the front to watch out for the lights..

"That's what I said," Kurt nodded and allowing Blaine to open his car door for him when they reached the Lima bean carpark ever the gentleman Kurt smiled.

"Thank you," His face warmed up from the nerves of being around Blaine.

"You're most welcome. May I?" Blaine asked holding out his hand for Kurt to take as they reached the door.

Kurt blinked but wordlessly took Blaine's hand blushing further holding his head down so Blaine couldn't see his childishness after nodding and wondered how he got so lucky in such a short period of time, and what he did to deserve this kindness in return when he pretty much ignored Blaine.

Kurt let go of his hand however and rushed up to the counter when entering 5 foot in the door leaving Blaine laughing behind him.

"Hey!" Blaine called out puffing as he reached to where Kurt was in a matter of time.

"Medium drip and a non-fat mocha please," Kurt grinned at the counter to the lady who smiled at the sight of the two of them and he handed over his money to the girl at the register; she wasn't very good at hiding her curiosity as she checked out his clothes and checked Blaine's facial expression who was watching Kurt with awe.

"It's on me dummy," Kurt quoted cheekily as Blaine looked pointedly at him and tried to shove money in his hand with a pout when Kurt wouldn't accept.

"You know my coffee order," Blaine looked pleased. "Of course I do. I know you; you wouldn't let me pay last time" Kurt winked.

"That's because I was being a gentleman," Blaine wiggled his eyebrows at Kurt accusingly as Kurt laughed.

"Yeah well, I can be a gentleman too but only around people who deserve it,"

"You can be gorgeous too," Blaine replied softly and with a pure smile. Kurt stilled not hearing the lady who called out their names. Blaine saw the way Kurt's breathing changed rapidly as though it was unbelievable.

"You don't believe me do you?" Blaine asked as he waited patiently for Kurt to react to what he just said, to say something; anything. Kurt smiled but very shyly not for the first time that night hiding his face by grabbing their coffees when seeing it on the counter finally.

"Kurt, you're beautiful, I'd be very surprised if you don't have guys lining up for you, no need to be so modest," Blaine insisted teasingly as they sat down when Kurt still hadn't said anything.

"I'm the only out gay kid at my school. Not so many gay guys out of the closet or in the school that's out and proud like me to begin with," Kurt answered looking sad and Blaine kicked himself internally for putting that expression on the beautiful boys face.

Blaine reached over for his hands like last time but just held one as he held his coffee cup in the other.

"Your school sounds like a nightmare, I assure you Kurt, if you were in New York right now, there wold be guys asking for your picture,"

Kurt shrugged as though to say he was used to it and that Blaine's wording didn't change things. That was true to some extent, but it didn't stop Blaine from wanting to tell Kurt how beautiful he was.

"I got one friend that's proud to be gay if our first class was any indication at least, that's all I need," He smiled up at Blaine. "It's just nice to know that I'm not alone anymore,"

Blaine's heart swelled. If he had the courage he would have leaned over and kissed him right there and then in the middle of the coffee shop.
