"By the way dad you didn't have to shake your nipples like that" Kurt commented straight out of the blue as they prepared themselves for dinner.

Blaine laughed as he yelled "Kurt!" in such a shock of having his friend? Boyfriend? approach his father like that.

Burt looked unfazed "Well Blaine told me to just do what they were doing, so I did," he backfired giving Blaine a beer who thanked him before sitting down.

"Yeah but he didn't mean that you had to copy them to that exten …never mind," Kurt figured it was a waste of an argument as his dad wasn't likely to do Zumba again anytime soon.

They ended up doing a couple more videos with just Blaine and Kurt in the living room; as though challenging each other, but Kurt couldn't help notice Blaine kept looking over to him with a pained expression and wondered what that was about as he pushed himself to finish the last song feeling energetic and active. The last video they ended up searching Lady Gaga Applause by Nicholas Jacobs

"I still don't get why you gotta do that stuff," Burt said taking a gulp of his beer as they sat down at the dinner table.

"Sue Sylvester …" He said simply as Burt waved his hand "Alright alright…don't give me another lecture, you explained it before. I get it; you need it for your cheerleading thing,"

Blaine looked like he wanted to say something but gulped when looking at Kurt still in his cheerios outfit, god he was so beautiful so he settled with just staring at his food to avoid his creepy ways but Burt must have seen that he wanted to say something as he told him to say what he was thinking as they put the salad and chicken on their plates that Blaine had helped Burt set out with also some gravy.

"Kurt…you don't think you want to reconsider going slow in Zumba? I know we had this conversation already which didn't end up too well, but you were going pretty hardcore with that video and its really frightening too see you like this, I worry about you" Blaine told and Burt looked to Blaine with a severe tactic. "You think he's lost too much weight too don't you?"

Blaine didn't want Kurt to think he wasn't beautiful because he was and he said as much because Kurt looked like he was going to shy away from him.

"Let me make this clear first. You're beautiful Kurt, and I really mean that; inside and out. You're breathtaking to look at, you have smooth skin and elegant features and it overwhelms me sometimes when I look at you. I want you to know that before you feel any insecurities about yourself, but you can't keep doing this to yourself," Blaine sighed before he continued. Kurt had his eyes lowered and Burt was watching intently.

"I was watching Dr Phil the other day, something I don't normally do but he had this thing… a list to let people become aware if someone they care about could be suffering from becoming Anorexic…" Blaine rambled.

Kurt got up pushing his chair back and looking madly at Blaine.

"And what about you?" Kurt fought back with an unforgiving tone. "You look like you're just as skinny, and have you seen those models from Vogue magazine, I look nothing like them Blaine so don't tell me I'm too skinny,"

"Yeah…you're right Kurt. You always are aren't you? And you know why I am too skinny? I'll admit to my downfalls and that's because I can't afford to eat as much as I'd like to and if I can admit that you should admit that yes you don't look like those people…" Blaine admitted pleading Kurt to sit down with his hands "but if you keep losing weight like you're losing you will become Anorexic and it's time you see that, I'd kill for a pizza every now and then but even that isn't as affordable as they make themselves out to be, not everything is as it seems Kurt."

"I'm not going to be Anorexic, some people just don't like to guts down their food, and some people shouldn't stick their noses in other peoples business" Kurt said and with that he pushed his chair back in and stormed off to his room with Blaine yelling after him. "Let him go, he'll come around," Burt informed as Blaine sat back down halfway from getting out of his seat and looking overthrown by Kurt's reaction.

"I appreciate your concern for Kurt," Burt added.

Blaine felt terrible. "I'm sorry for ruining a good dinner," he muttered. Burt didn't comment on that, he was watching Blaine with a fatherly concern.

"You're really struggling with this whole looking after your mum thing aren't you?" Burt asked as Blaine ate quietly as though trying to make up for Kurt not being there eating his meal before saying "I'm doing alright,"

"Yeah but you could be doing better with some support. How about you work at the garage?" Burt asked without even giving it much thought.

Blaine looked up surprised "What garage sir?"

"Burt I told ya, and mine. I own the Tires and Lube out the back,"

"That's yours?" Blaine looked amazed as Burt laughed "Yeah kiddo. It'd give me time to get to know you more, and I'd pay you a reasonable amount considering you do a good job, you know anything about cars?"

"I once helped my father fix one up but that was when I was 17 Mr Hummel. I wouldn't remember what to do,"

"That's was only 2 years ago Blaine, don't make it like it's been forever but that's not the issue, we can help you with that, Kurt knows how to change tires you know?"

That was an image Blaine wanted to see as he replied with "Really?"

"Yeah, does a good job too," Burt looked proud of his son and Blaine's chest rose a tight feeling in his stomach.

"I would sir. That's if he talks to me again," Blaine sighed stabbing his chicken.

"He will," Burt insisted "So what do you think? We don't even have to tell him, it'll give him a nice surprise to see you come back here working with his old man,"

"It'd be an honour to work for you Burt," Blaine said sincerely and Burt grinned. "Well when are you free?"

"The only times I'm not free are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at night time when I do my Zumba classes, I just started a new class for Thursday night in Lima, since Kurt started and I do a late Zumba class on Friday from 8pm, the other classes start at 7pm, they only go for an hour and a half as Kurt said but I visit the hospital at 4pm every day to check on my mother, and to help pay her hospital treatment," Burt considered this.

"Alright, so how about you work during the mornings from 7:30 – 3:00, with an hour break and get paid $25 per hour?"

Blaine could barely believe it "You're seriously giving me a job?"

"Yeah, you seem like a good candidate,"

Blaine could barely believe it. "Thank you so much Mr Hummel,"

"How many times do I have to tell you Blaine; call me Burt,"

"Sorry sir,"

"Burt!"

"Thank you Burt," Blaine grinned as he got out of he looked into the man's eyes.

"You're welcome," Burt nodded. "Now finish your dinner, one kid not eating is bad enough,"
