Thalia's POV..
The next morning..
Thalia.. Thalia.. Thalia..
"Thalia, wake up."
I groan as Nico nudges my shoulder, "Five more minutes."
"You said that five minutes ago."
"Just get out," I grumble, throwing a pillow at the son of Hades. He makes a "pfft" sound and leaves the room, closing the door behind him. Did he take my pillow?
I sigh as I drag myself out of bed and into the kitchen, desperately needing some coffee.
An hour later..
"Well someone's a ray of sunshine," Nico sarcastically comments as I slide into the stool next to him.
"I could say the same for you." I instantly grab for the coffee Seeder have made for me, hoping coffee tastes the same here as it does back home.
Seeder sits across from Nico and me at the table, "Today's your last day of training, and you're going to have private and individual assessments. You're going to be called up one by one to show the Gamemakers what you're made of. Make sure to show your best skills, and be confident in yourselves. You can't speak of what you did for the Gamemakers with anyone, and that's strictly enforced. Okay?"
Nico and I nod, and I begin to think about what I could show the "Gamemakers." I want to do something that shows I'm actually skilled, and can actually survive in these games. But it's not like that actually matters, all I need to think about is how to keep Katniss and Peeta alive. Hopefully we've earned their trust, but I'm not entirely sure. Peeta seems to like us, but Katniss is pretty hard to understand. I guess we'll just have to find out in the games, right?
After Seeder leaves to get ready for the day, I look over at Nico, and it's like we had a silent conversation. He nods, and gets up to head into his room.
Sorry for the short chapter.
