Chapter 9
Ramin's POV
I scratched the cat behind the ears. Erik purred contently. "Hahahaha, He really seems to like you now." Molly said laughing. I put Erik down. Erik rubbed against my legs. I bent down and stroked the black cat's fur. I stood back up and saw Molly with two coffee cups.
"Thanks." I said taking the one she held out.
"You're welcome." Molly replied. I took a sip of coffee. It was hot and warm to the touch. The strong liquid warmed me to the core. "I have a den where we can enjoy the coffee." She left the kitchen. I followed her. We came to a room with a huge French window. This must be the den.
Then, I saw a one large instrument that made my eyes light up. "You have a piano?" I looked at her questioningly. The piano was my favorite instrument.
"Yeah, it was my dad's. He gave it to me last year before he passed." She said going to the piano. "May I?" She sat down at the bench. I smiled thinking of what I was going to say next.
"Does the young Johnson play?" I replied darkly. She gave me a quizzical look but then smiled. She must have figured out what I did there.
"Yes, I do. What shall I play?" she asked.
"Anything you know." I answered. Molly started playing. I recognized the song. The song she was playing was Pass the Point of No Return. I moved closer to her and sat down next to her. She was playing the overture. I watched her slender move across the piano keys. As she played, her delicate fingers tapping the keys. Her eyes were closed. She seemed lost in the music. She's fantastic! She's brilliant! I started singing the first line from long ago memory.
Ramin: Past the point of no return, no backward glances. The games we've played, till now are at an end
Her eyes shot open and stopped playing. I smiled while singing.
Ramin: Past all thought of if or when, no use resisting. Abandon thought and let the dream descend
I glanced over at her. She blushed and continued playing. I sang again.
Ramin: What raging fire shall flood the soul? What rich desire unlocks its door? What sweet seduction lies before us? Past the point of no return, the final threshold. What warm unspoken secrets will we learn? Beyond the point of no return.
I looked over and started playing her part. Then Molly sang.
Molly: You have brought me. To that moment where words run dry. To that moment where speech disappears. Into silence, silence.
I smirked. She sang so beautifully.
Molly: I have come here, hardly knowing the reason why. In my mind I've already imagined. Our bodies entwining defenseless and silent. And now I am here with you. No second thoughts, I've decided, decided.
Then a smirk fell upon her lips as she sang.
Molly: Past the point of no return, no going back now. Our passion play has now at last begun. Past all thought of right or wrong, one final question. How long should we two wait, before we're one? When will the blood begin to race? The sleeping bud burst into bloom? When will the flames at last consume us?
She started my part while I played hers. We both sang.
Ramin/Molly: Past the point of no return, the final threshold. The bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn. We've passed the point of no return.
We both stopped playing. I looked Molly. I took her hands. She looked at me confused. Then I sang my next line with full emotion of what I felt towards her the time first I talked to Molly.
Ramin: Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime. Lead me, save me from my solitude. Say you want me with you here beside you. Anywhere you go let me go too. Molly, that's all I ask of…
Then, I quickly kissed her.
OMG! O.o What do you guys think? What should Molly's reaction be? I'll take suggestions. please review.
