Outside your window at twilight.

Tap. Tap tap. Bang!

Bella runs to the window, and outside is Jacob Black, standing with a sheepish smile and a hand full of pebbles. Bella shakes her head and rolls her eyes but struggles into her jacket and slips slowly down the stairs. She trips over her own feet as she pulls on her boots, but somehow she makes it outside and into Jake's car.

Tap. Tap tap. Bang!

This time when Bella runs to her window, it's nothing but hail from the stormy sky knocking the glass.

She can't hide how much she wishes it was something else.
