Part 2
I run! I run quickly through the scattered trees around the graveyard. Darting left and right, trying to shake off the vamp that is chasing me. Suddenly I stop and swivel around causing the newly risen vamp to run straight into the stake that I am holding. I started doing this not long after I arrived in LA and now do it most nights. Shortly after I arrived I was walking and got attacked and I realised that even in a new city I cant escape being The Slayers sister. I go out for a quick sweep now before I go and hang out with the new friends that i have have met since arriving in LA almost a year ago now.
Friends may be a bit of an exageration. I dont know if they count as more friends or aquaintences because I can't tell them about Buffy and the Scooby's! I never have been able to. No matter how many times they ask me about my family and life in Sunnydale, I have never been able to put that much on the line. they have been there for me so much since I have come to LA. I could imagine there faces if i told them that the guy that I had told them about, the one I run away from was a vampire. They would have me committed!
Soon after arriving in LA I started working at a big law firm as a PA for one of the lower partners. I work at Wolfram and Hart and its one of the most prostegious law firms in the country. Mr Saunders my boss is really nice and a great boss, he was really good about the lack of experience!
As I arrived at work this morning I was greeted with much excitement and before I could even fetch him his morning cup of tea I was called into the office to talk to the boss. As I sat in front of him he looked excited, " We will be relocating within the week to new offices which myself and a team of my choosing will be heading up. It will be a great experience and I am hoping you wouldn't mind moving so I dont lose my favourite PA." Mr Saunders was a great flirt and usually I blush but today I was giddy with excitement and totally missed the compliment. "When and where?" What he said next shocked me. Am I ready to go back. Can I cope back in my old town and with them again. My next thought was Sunnydale better get ready because Dawn Summers is back in town!
