"Edward!" I exclaimed and through myself into my boyfriends (and vampire) arms.
"Good morning Maki," He said in his beautiful velvet voice.
"You will come today right?" I asked
"Only if you want me to" he muttered and chuckled already knowing the answer.
"I'll see you later then!" I said cheerfully.
Only then I noticed then I noticed I haddent seen Alice lately. I turned around to ask Edward where she was but he was already speeding down the road, 100mph.
I heard Edwards's car and ran to get the door.
"Hello Makenna"
He said. He was not smiling.
"Where is Charlie?"
Asked Edward
"He went fishing!"
I answered trying to keep the worry out of my voice. Edward smiled but his eyes stayed the same.
"Let's go on a walk."
He said and quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper. I followed him half-heartedly out of the house and to the forest. We stopped still in view of the house. Such a walk I thought. Edward leaned against a tree and stared at me with a hard expression.
"Maki"
He said
"We're leaving"
I looked at him.
"I'll go pack then"
I muttered and started to walk back to my house.
"No"
Edward grabbed my shoulder and spun me around to face him.
"It's for your own good"
It took a moment to sink in.
"You're leaving me??"
I said in bewilderment. Edward nodded.
"But we're…"
I shook my head.
"You can't come. I want you safe."
He muttered without meeting my eyes.
"I'm safest wherever you are."
"Sometime I'm going to lose control."
Tears welled up in my eyes.
"You don't want me…?"
I looked at him pleadingly. He stared at the ground.
"No"
Tears flooded from my eyes.
"Don't worry I'll make it as if I was never here"
He said wiping a tear from my cheek. Then he disappeared. My legs gave out under me and I fell to the ground. I sat there for a moment absorbing what had just happened. My dear Edward had left me forever. I struggled and stood up. Tripping here and there I ran deeper into the woods supposedly trying to follow Edward. Finally I tripped and just lay there. The cold ground felt good against my back. I wondered how deep I had gotten into the woods. I didn't even care when I heard a rustling noise. I closed my eyes.
"Why hello Makenna"
I opened my eyes to find a pair or bright red eyes staring trumpetidly back at me.
"Leave me alone"
I grumbled and closed my eyes. Wait, RED EYES? I opened my eyes and quickly stood up.
"Ah, so you finally noticed."
I cowered a little. It was my worst fear ever.
