How do you figure a last year on Earth?

Winter

Winter was her favorite season; always had been, always will be. Maybe it was because the way the snow looked on the trees-it outlined the brown, transforming them from post-Autumn dreary to Winter stunning. On pine trees, the snow made the green more vibrant. The snow was the one thing that would always be there, every Winter-even if it got too frigid and almost no one wanted it to add to the wind and rain. But snow was hundreds of times better than rain-snow was fun, something the children could rely them to free them from stress when they tried to catch flakes on their tongues, or let their ears turn bright red for the heck of it. And snow was gorgeous in the hairs of all the girls-and when it melted, it never dampened their hair as much as heavy rains did.

Snow was beautiful, and there was no way to deny it; it was even beautiful when the sun shined brightly on it, and the glistened and sparkled in the light, melting into a lovely Spring…

Spring

Spring was when things started changing, and it was evident everywhere. If something wasn't changing, it was inevitable to. It made her woozy sometimes! Spring had its beauty, though, in the flowers, mostly.

Her last Spring was her worst Spring; he came into her life and changed things for her, and drastically. The thought of Spring, the way all the change was admired, made her uncomfortable to start-she felt as if she should embrace Spring the way everyone else did, but that was just one thing about her that made her different. She didn't like change all that much; something too drastic of a change, she later discovered, wasn't ever a good thing.

Summer

Oh, Summer! Summer was everyone's favorite season but hers. She loved the freedom, of course, but it would all end in a matter of time. And she didn't want to think about the ending, even if every ending was a brand new beginning.

Autumn

Autumn was always just a peaceful season for her. She though, with him, it would grow more peaceful…and she didn't know why her last Autumn was colder until it was too late.

Winter

Her last Winter was brief and painful. Every ending was a brand new beginning. She just hoped that he knew that, too.

Figure in love.
