The officers in Sunhill CID are investigating a paedophile case where a school janitor is accused of sexually abusing students at the school where he works. DI Sheelagh Murphy from Child Protection is called in to help investigate.
Sheelagh Murphy looked up at Sunhill Police Station as she walked towards the front door and into the front office.
"And who might you be" said Sally behind the front desk
"DI Sheelagh Murphy, Child Protection"
"Sheelagh" said Inspector Gold walking in.
"hiya Gina" said Sheelagh
"Good to see ya I hear you've made DI congratulations" said Gina
"thanks'' said Sheelagh "nice to see you too, I'm here to help with the paedophile case"
"well come down to the briefing room were going to start soon" said Gina
Sheelagh and Gina walked down the corridor to the briefing room
"Sheelagh, hi" said Samantha a little surprised "are you the DI from Child protection"
"I sure am" said Sheelagh
"great lets get this briefing started" said Samantha
"Alright everyone can I have your attention please, I'll start by introducing DI Sheelagh Murphy from child protection who will be assisting us with the investigation" said Gina
"we need to arrest Luke Davidson so Emma and Siobhan have gone round to his house and Sheelagh can come with me to the school" said Samantha
"lets get to it" said Gina
"Siobhan" said Sheelagh puzzled "what are you doing here"
"I transferred here last week cos they needed a sergeant" said Siobhan "I didn't tell you so it would be a surprise"
"fair enough, well congratulations anyway" said Sheelagh
"Thanks' "said Siobhan
"Right come on Sheelagh lets go" said Samantha. Sheelagh and Samantha walked out to the car.
"there's something you should know about Luke Davidson" said Sheelagh
"And what's that" said Samantha
"he's my dad" said Sheelagh
"what, really" said Samantha
"yep Davidson's my maiden name" said Sheelagh
