Sorry guys. I hate author's notes with a passion too. Hopefully I'll never write another one.
So… OMG. THANK YOU so much for the response to Darlin'. I was overwhelmed. I didn't think many people would read it, let alone review it. But it just made me thrilled to get the feedback.
Most people asked me to continue it. And I must admit, I was sorely tempted… but I have decided not to. Darlin' was written in ten minutes, and I was really happy with it straight away. I think that spending more time on it, over thinking it, and adding more to it would ruin it. Well, I would ruin it anyway.
However due to the requests for more, I am going to write a longer story that Darlin' could be part of, a lost chapter, or something along those lines. My plan is for it to work with the story… or to work as a stand-alone.
The story is called The Little Things Give You Away. I hope it doesn't disappoint.
