A/N Ok so I still haven't decided where the boys will be- though Chad will be with Troy yet in contact with Taylor- but they don't tell Troy or Gabriella that they're in contact.

"Taylor I don't know what we're going to do- I mean these clubs barely have any money and I've been to their meetings and seen their efforts so I know that they're trying to get money!"
"I don't know Shar. The school can't just give them the money." Taylor responded.
It had been a long and grueling day for the two heads of the school. They were at the end of their first quarter of the year so they were doing their routine check-ups of everything dealing with the school-including finances. And they found that the clubs and teams weren't getting a lot of money and running or of the money they had quickly. This had been caused by the lack of community and fan support because the basketball and scholastic decathlon teams (which were two of the schools three main events) weren't having a very successful year. They also found that though the drama club (the third main event) was doing better they still didn't have much support and were also finding a hard time getting talent.
So now they came to their current situation- what to do about all of this? They'd been brainstorming about it for about half an hour and the only good idea that they'd come up with was a Spring Fling but they wanted something more creative and fun than that.
They continued walking through the halls talking about possibilities but we're stopped short suddenly when they heard the piano being played in the music room and a sweet melodic voice that they hadn't heard for a long time accompanying it. But the voice wasn't the same it no longer held it's happiness, blissful naievity, joy or love instead it held grief, hurt loneliness and most of all longing as it sung the most beautiful words.

Just as Sharpay and Taylor were about to leave so Gabriella wouldn't catch them and yell at them they heard her start to play another tune on the piano and were once again drawn back into her voice

When they were certain that was her last song they rushed away so that she wouldn't catch them. When they rounded the corner at the end of the hall they stopped and turned to each other.
"You know what or rather who those songs were about." Taylor said.
"Yeah I do and I have the perfect plan for a fund raiser also." Sharpay replied with a mischievous grin on her face.
"What's going on in that devious mind of yours?" Taylor asked Sharpay knowing that it would either end up really well or really bad for Gabriella.
