A/N: There was no other sin that could be Sara's. It's like her character was written to play this part. Read and review? Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own CSI or any of the characters.

Pride:

A high sense of one's self worth and independance.

Pride

If there was anything she hated, it was being wrong. On cases, she would work her ass off to find the evidence, follow the trail, and get the perp; her reward being the satisfaction of seeing the convict put behind bars. The feeling of seeing people getting help from someone who can offer it is heaven sent, but knowing that it was her that helped them was priceless. Another shot to pump up her all-too-tiny ego!

Then again, it made her even more confident in her ability as a level 3 CSI if the case was a solo. She prized her independence, nearly as much as she did her own life; and even though she would have the occasional break-down, tough girl Sara Sidle would never show how hurt she was, or that she needed a shoulder to cry on. Her inner-self was strong, and not easily broken, but often in times of self-doubt, can too much strength be a curse?

She didn't think so- or at least refused to believe so.
