Two Pendants, One Heart
Summary – She was given two pendants each by two different people. One was so that she will never forget him. The other was to protect her. This is a short oneshot. Warning spoilers.

Mitsuki had just found out that Eichi was leaving. Mitsuki couldn't help, but cry. She and Eichi are very close friends.
"I'll give you this pendant so that you will always remember me."
Mitsuki had since then have always treasured. Often times when she is thinking of Eichi, she hold the pendant close to her heart.
"It likes the full moon, Mitsuki."
Mitsuki means full moon. And like the moon Mitsuki always shows one side: true happiness.
"I love you, Mitsuki."
"Forget about me."
Those were the last words that Eichi had said to Mitsuki before he left. Because of his confession, Mitsuki didn't have the courage to speak to him. Then she realized it. She loved him too.
But before she could confess.
Eichi left for America.

Mitsuki looked at the poster that so deeply reminded her of Eichi, then a hand appeared. Then a leg, then a boy with white cat appeared.
"So this is her, Mitsuki Koyoma. Age thirteen."
Mitsuki was confused how did this boy know her name?
A girl appeared next wearing all red and a bunny hat. She was complaining how Takuto didn't wait for her.
"Were a Shinigami Super Pair."
"Takuto."
"Meroko."
"Together were Negi Ramen."
Mitsuki had never heard of a more weird name and bursted out laughing. With the help of Takuto, Mitsuki was a able to become a blonde, sixteen year old and the audition.
"With my blood I shall make you sixteen. And while I'm at it, in this form your throat will be fine."
Takuto had become really mad when Mitsuki had told him that she was doing singing because of a promise she made with a boy. But then later made up with her.
"I promised Eichi that I will follow my dreams and become a singer."
Takuto promised that he would help Mitsuki and later fell in love her, but found that she loved Eichi. Together with Meroko, they both went to the shinigami world to strike Mitsuki's name off the list.
"Wear this. It will tell me how you're doing wherever I am."
"But my pendant."
'Eichi.'
"You don't have to take it off. Just wear mine too."
Some time, after Takuto left for good and disappeared, Mitsuki realized that she loved him too.

Three years later a familiar face appeared at her concert. His long hair had been cut, and now it was short, but the familiar eyes was still there.
"I was in a coma, that's why I was a failure as a shinigami."
"Takuto, you can speak?"
Takuto made a grin face.
"Did you cry a bit when I disappeared?"
That was his mistake.
"Why didn't you even call me? Why didn't come you see me right away?"
"Th-that's easy for you to say! At first I couldn't even move my fingers properly! How could I show up when I was like that?!"
"That's no excuse. Your love for me should be more important than your pride!"
Takuto was bewildered and shocked. This is no longer the little Mitsuki that he used to know.
"I'm sorry I'm weak. I love you……Takuto."
"Don't leave me anymore. Stay with me always!"
"Sure. I'll always be with you."
In the sky, a ghostly presence looked over the crowds and to the singer, happily being with her love.
"Nooo!!"
"Mitsuki!!"
Then he looked at her closer. He realized she was finally happy. He finally left the earth in a tearful goodbye and disappeared.
Just then Mitsuki felt the sky smiling at her too.
