It's finally happened. Daisy and I had tea, with Nick of course. She came to my house and I showed her around and I think we can be the way we were. At first I wondered if, perhaps, I had been mistaken and Daisy wasn't really who I thought she was. And then I heard her voice, exactly as I remembered it, and I realised that nothing much has changed, nothing at all. Yes, she may now be married, but what is marriage now anyway? I don't think she really loves her husband. She loves me. I could see it in her eyes. All I want is for her to tell Tom that it's over, that she wants to be with me. Then we can live together and be in love, just like we years ago, only more so. This time it will be forever.
