Tifa gets cucked

Book 1 in my faithful novelization of FF7! This one is covering up to the party's escape from Midgar. My first time ever posting a story onto here so I'm still working my way around.

Reincarnation, sure. Sounds nice in practice. A new life, a chance to maybe live differently. One tiny problem… pretty sure you weren't supposed to REMEMBER your past. And you definitely weren't supposed to land in a video game. Terrific. Hope whatever God I offended gets a real kick before a monster eats me.

Cloud Strife- a novice cadet and an even worse warrior in his own mind. Despite standard SOLDIER training, Cloud feels he can't get any better at anything, increasingly weighed down by his own subconscious. Luckily, two experienced SOLDIERs step in.

In a last-ditch effort to save the planet, Cloud is hurled into another dimension. One where the link between him and god-complex Sephiroth will be broken. The only problem is, his cross-dimensional counterpart is the soulmate of the four strongest SOLDIERs in Midgar, that dimension's Sephiroth included. Their *dead* soulmate. And they'll stop at nothing to find him.

Cloud and Aerith are too slow in getting to Don Corneo's mansion to help Tifa, so she's on her own. But when certain circumstances reveal that Tifa is married, she's determined to find out to whom she has chained herself to.

When an unwed mother passes away a few months after his birth, the people of Nibelheim unwittingly give the baby to the research team who lives in the Shinra Mansion... Professor Hojo decides to start a new project to parallel his experiments on Subject S.

Laying at the edge of the world after a wild night of shy confessions and vivid, clumsy lovemaking, Tifa wakes up in Cloud's arms under the dawn. They aren't finished yet. #UnderTheHighwind23

Cloud did join Shinra, but he just did his tour and got out. Once discharged, he moved under the plate, earning gil by doing odd jobs and monster hunting in the wastes around Midgar. On this particular day, it wasn't a monster he found, but a shot-to-hell SOLDIER who wasn't quite dead. A story of building a new life, gaining new friends, and a past that isn't quite done.
