You would think I would want to go pay John a little visit, as Emmett put it. But I truly had a horrible feeling about this.

"Guys do you really think…"

Emmett interrupted me, "She had another nightmare Edward. It was worse than the first one. He is paying for this."

The hatred grew and soon replaced the unsure feeling in my stomach. I clenched my fist and was now ready to kill him.

"Now remember, we are going to talk but if he hits one of us we will fight back. But no throwing the first punch," Jasper said, him not being the fighting type. We nodded.

We soon pulled in John's driveway. We all 3 got out and walked to the door. Jasper knocked and in seconds John opened the door. He looked at us but not shocked, sort of satisfied.

"Now you can invited us in or you can make this difficult and we can make our way in. Which ever you think would be better," Jasper threatened.

Without any protest John let us in. The 4 of us stood in the living room in silent. None of us knew where to start.

"Did you have a good time last night, John?" Emmett's booming voice broke the silence.

"As a matter of fast I did," He said with a smile.

"I bet you did," Jasper said through his clenched jaw.

"So how's your girlfriend, Eddie. Did she manage to have a good time last night," he said in a cocky tone. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. It took a lot not to kill him. Emmett also held me back. John started laughing.

"Do you have a death with?" Jasper shot at him.

"You guys aren't going to touch me," he said confidently.

"And how can you be so sure?" Emmett slowly moved towards John a bit.

"Well Jasper won't because he's not the fighting type. And he would never disobey Alice. And she most likely doesn't want you guys to fight me."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that," Jasper replied calmly, playing John's little game.

"Emmett, you are my biggest threat being the one most likely to snap first. But unless I say the wrong thing you won't hit me. Unless that is, I'm stupid enough to hit you first. " Emmett was quiet knowing John was right. "And my friend Eddie, you want to kill me the most, very understandable. But you won't because Bella wouldn't want you to and you wouldn't dare go against her. And also Chief Swan is your other reason. He doesn't want you to resort to violence, him being a cop and all. And most likely he doesn't like you anyways, so you won't do anything else to get on his bad side." I just stood there staring straight in the eyes because once again he was right. He smiled.

"Why did you do it?" I asked through my teeth, not looking away from him.

"Now why would I tell you?"

"Because it's what is best for you," Emmett took a step closer.

"You can ask Bella, she knows." We all stared at him waiting for his explanation.

"You See I thought about it al Sunday night. I knew I overreacted. So I decided Monday after class I would talk to her, apologize, work things out like she wanted. But then I saw you drop her off, in her car. She never let me drive that and I was furious. So then I just gave up. But after class I saw her and Chad talking. He was supposed to be my best friend. So that pissed me off even more. Last night I got a call from my buddy that owns the club and he told me Bella was there. So I went and watched. I watched her and Chad dance. I was disgusted but then I saw your face Edward. It was full of pain it was satisfying. But when they didn't stop dancing I got furious again. That's when I snapped. When I took her in the back it wasn't my intentions to go that far. But she looked so hot and scared. I mean I guess in a way I knew it was going to come to that but she made it so much easier than I thought. She hurt me so I just repaid her for what she did. She put up a good fight, I'll give her that much but it was no match for my desire to not only hurt her but hurt you." He stopped and looked at me. A smile crept on his face. He continued. "I see my plan worked so much better then I planned. Look at you. You're beating yourself up for this. I mean truly it is your fault. You could have done so many things to avoid this. If you never had left her in the first place, me and her never would have got together. I wonder who hurt her me, you or me? I mean physically I did, you aren't man enough to do what I did. But mentally you might have got me beat."

"What you did was cowardly. It doesn't make you a man." Emmett said and started walking towards john. John started backing up.

"This is like last night. Only I was you Emmett, backing Bella up into the wall with no where to go. You should have seen her face, so scared. And her screaming, that was straight from a horror movie," Before he could continue Emmett knocked him out in one punch.

"Let's go before I kill this jack ass." Emmett said staring down on the floor where soon was knocked out.

"I think we may have enough evidence to put him away." Jasper smiled and wiggled his phone in front of us. "I got his whole entire speech."

"Hell yeah Jasper! Let's go show Charlie!" I said happily and we all left and went to the hospital.

"Edward!" My mom ran and gave me a huge hug when we made our way to the waiting room where my family was. She let me go and I gave my dad a hug. Alice wasn't with them.

"Where is Alice?" Jasper searched.

"In the room." My mom let him know.

"Where were you guys?" Charlie asked.

"Here is the thing," Emmett started to explain. "We went and saw John. And we didn't resort to violence, well not exactly, but we got something that we want you to listen to."

"What is it?"

"Well we asked him why he did it and he basically told us, little did he know I recorded it." Jasper took out his phone.

"You guys don't have to listen," I looked at my mom and dad.

"Just play it." My mom said.

Jasper pressed play. It started when Emmett said it'd be best for him is he told us and it ended when he hit the floor. Hearing it again was worst than the first time. The looks on their faces were horrifying. None of them knew hoe to react. I could see Emmett shaking; I put my hand on his shoulder. Tears started falling down his cheeks. I hugged him. My mom was in tears and in my dads' arms. Charlie was just shaking his head. I let Emmett go.

"Charlie do you think that is enough to put him away?" I asked.

"With that and Bella saying it's him we should have no problem." He said confidently.

"Good. Can I go see her?" I needed her.

"I don't see why not." My dad said. Charlie looked uncomfortable but I went anyways.

Alice gave me a huge hug when I got in the room.

"Did you guys go see him?" she asked worried.

"Ya. Ask Jasper all about it."

"Alright."

"How has she been?"

"Better. How are you?"

I just smiled and went and kissed Bella's forehead. I was not doing good at all but I didn't want to admit it.

"Edward, she will be okay."

"I know."

"Everything will work out. You guys are meant to be happy together."

I brushed my fingers down Bella's face.

"I don't deserve her."

"Do you think I would let Bella see you if I wasn't sure you two were meant to be together?"

"I don't know."

"I did this because you guys are miserable without each other. It's meant to be. Since when do you bet against me?" She made me question myself.

"Charlie won't let her see me." I tried making an excuse.

Alice laughed, "Like that will really stop you guys from being together."

I knew it wouldn't but I just felt like things won't work out. Alice walked out knowing I wanted to be alone. I took Bella's hand and just started talking, hoping she could hear me.

"I don't think I can live without you Bella. Your touch, your smell, your eyes, it's a drug. I need you. I'm in love with you. I wish none of this happened. I wish I could make everything better for you. I wish it were all okay. I was I was strong enough.: I stopped when the tears fell on her hand.

"I love you," I heard her whisper
