Kitsunami the Fennec and his partner Surge the Tenrec had just finished a long and hard battle against Sonic, Tails, Dr. Eggman, and Metal Sonic. Exhausted from the fight, Kitsunami carried Surge in his arms and ran until they found a safe place to rest. He eventually stumbled upon a cave, where he could rest and recover in peace. Inside, they plan for another day.
