Chuck lounged at the Nerd Herd Desk.

There were no customers who needed his assistance, and not even many in the Buy More. He was content to just sit back and wait for the day to be over so that he could go and play some Guitar hero with Morgan.

But it was not to be, he decided, as he felt a large hand at his neck, practically picking him up and pulling towards the Sara's work, and it's many flavors of frozen yogurt. He couldn't decide if he was happy or not. He had been bored sitting at the desk, but his chances of being shot at had just gone up dramatically within the last few seconds. Then there was a vague explanation of the mission and he was shoved into a van, and then stuffed into a tuxedo.

It ended with him hand in hand with Sara, looking ridiculously good in a revealing blue dress and him talking about computers with the person he had flashed on. His name was Erik Bavoric, assassin and computer hacker. Chuck was shaking in his shoes by the time the conversation was over as he reviewed what he knew about this deadly computer geek. Wanted in most major countries, for murder and theft, his usually tactics seemed to include killing everyone in a building then hacking in and stealing whatever he wanted. Then Sara was gone to get a drink and talk to Casey, who was once again posed as a waiter, though he looked more like a body guard then a waiter.

Then Erik got closer, and flirtier, touching his arm in a more then polite way. Then Erik was leaving, but before he had gone he slipped Chuck a business card. "Call me if the blonde loses your interest." Then he really was gone, leaving Chuck frozen to the floor, eyes wide like a deer caught in the head lights of a truck. Then later in the van Casey was laughing at him, saying that he was better bait then Sara was. Who would have thought?

Chuck grimaced and went to bed; he hoped that he would never have to see Erik again.
