Me: "The sixth chapter is up, and I'm sorry I haven't uploaded for so long. Too much school; but it's up now!!"

Drew: "And we're supposed to be glad about it?"

May: "Drew, you're being rude again"

Drew: "You've hugged me almost t o death last time, I think I am allowed to be rude"

Me: "Stop arguing so I can start this chapter"

Drew: "Alright, alright..."

May: "Riikani doesn't own Pokemon or any of the characters"

Me: "Thanks for reminding me (sigh), alright, enough of the jabbering, Time for the chapter"

Chapter 6: Offers and Training

The next morning May woke up with a heavy feeling in her stomach. She quickly dressed and put her wig on her head, making sure all brown hair was under it.

She decided to grab breakfast first before heading out to train her pokemon.

'The contest is only three days away' May thought, while she munched slowly on her egg. She had loaded her plate but still, she didn't ate it as quickly as she normally would have done.

'I wonder, should I go for seconds' she pondered.

"Well, if it isn't foxy?" a mocking voice said from behind. May quickly turned he face the way Drew only would see her whole side. She knew he knew it was there but she tried to cover it anyway.

"Drew" she replied the arrogant teen. May had the same table as last night; in the corner, far away from everyone and besides the window.

So it was more than logically she wondered what he wanted; "What are you doing here?" was the question.

He sat down, a cup of coffee in one hand and smirked, "dunno, I thought I might as well show Foxy the city since she apparently had forgotten to check up some information"

The truth was however unspoken. Drew knew she would go hide herself from public because of her face, and that was not something he wanted to happen. He figured if she couldn't even walk on the street then the stage would be impossible. He always thought everyone should get equal chance, and Sora would get trouble enough.

On May's side; she was shocked, why wanted Drew to show her the city, that was so not like him.

"And now the real reason please" she responded coldly.

Drew cocked a brow and went serious; "You were going to hide yourself, weren't you?" he asked it harshly but May had to admit he was quite right.

"Well I was going to train my pokemon..."

Drew looked outside, "That's basically the same, you're not fooling me you haven't trained your pokemon yet. Even May wouldn't be that confident"

'Solidad was right, May never leaves his mind' May thought, purposely using herself in the third person.

"You think you look terrible with that scar, don't you?"

May spread her eyes; it was the first time he mentioned it to her.

"I admit, it's not pretty, but you still got the other half of your face, which isn't ugly at all" Drew said sternly"

A small blush spread over May's face. She looked down at her plate which was still full for half. "Why bother me? I'm your opponent after all"

Drew flicked his; 'so it was a habit, not something to show off with'

"Yes, but you too deserve a fair shot. You will get it difficult enough without being able to withstand people's mocking comments"

May smiled weakly, he was right.

Damn. she hated when he was.

"Thank you Drew, but I think I'll pass. I think I will do fine" she said.

Drew stood up; "Fine by me, bye Sora" and he walked away abruptly.

May found it hard to believe this was the same person as Solidad had described. To her, it seemed like he hadn't changed on bit. She sighed and ate the last of her breakfast

She thanked Nurse Joy before going outside.

"Now who to use" May muttered to herself. 'Beautifly has the most experience, but Wartortle isn't that bad either'.

In the end May decided to use Wartortle for the appeals and Glaceon for the battles.

It felt a bit strange to be preparing again for a contest again. Alright, she wouldn't add any fame to the name May Maple but Sora Naka would definitely be a winner.

She stayed outside and trained her Pokemon the whole day.

Before she went inside to eat something she found a brochure of the city and read it while dinner.

She was happily surprised when she read it had one of the biggest libraries in all regions. While her recovery she had been reading a lot and she actually found the old folklores in the books very interesting.

So she decided to go the next morning to the library. Maybe this region would have new tales. She squealed softly with the idea.

May finished her dinner and brought her Pokemon to Nurse Joy for a check-up.

"Sora!" a girly yell was heard through the hall. "Why he?" May moaned.

She turned around to see the 'guy' with purple hair and cacturne costume.

"Harley, how are you?" she asked, mre being politely than really interested. Heck she was even more interested in a piece of Tauros crap.

"Lovely, thank you for asking" he said grabbing May's hands, she sweat dropped; he apparently thought she meant it for real.

"And you look so healthy", she wasn't sure if he was mocking her or meant it for real; "Yes I've outside all day".

"Oh, that's so good of you hun, well got to go", and he happily skipped away. May sweat dropped, he was still same old Harley.

"Watch out for him, you wouldn't be the first one to fall for his masquerade" May suddenly heard Drew's voice besides her, 'What is it with him and appearing every time' she thought, but chuckled.

"Come on Drew, why would I trust someone wearing a cacturne costume?", 'and I'm the one doing the masquerade here, not him' she thought adding.

Drew smirked; "As I said, you wouldn't be the first one"

May growled; "Night Drew" and she went to her room.

She looked at herself in the mirror before taking of her wig; "I'm the one wearing the masque Drew, not Harley this time". Then she went to sleep, she wanted to be in the library all day after all.

Me: "This was a boring chapter"

Drew: "I actually fell asleep half-way"

Me: "Yes Drew, we noticed"

Drew: "Huh?"

May: "You look pretty cute when you're asleep; I thought I would take some reminders. (holding up camera) maybe I even sell them to your fan girls"

Drew: "MAY! GET BACK HERE!!"

Me: (watching Drew chasing May through the room) "While they are busy, please review. Updates may come sooner if you do; the button is in the left corner below. Yeah there"

Me: "AND NOW IS IT ENOUGH!!, quite your stupid act and tell you like each other already!"
