Me: "Hey people back again"

Drew: "You can continue living your no-life"

Me: "Drew, if I wasn't doing this, you'd exist in one story less"

May; "Thanks to those who reviewed"

Me: "And no cookies for those who didn't"

May: "Wait...You've GOT COOKIES??"

Me; "Yeah..."

May storms off to find the cookies.

Me: "NO May...those are mine..."

Drew: "(sigh) just for some cookies. Anyway; Riikani doesn't own Pokemon or any of the characters; I've got a feeling if she did, my life would be pretty different.

Me: "Yep, you and May would never have disappeared from the series. And since I'm annoyed by Dawn; she would never have appeared"

May: (munch, munch) "Back to the story!!"

(A/N: I've noticed I made a big screw-up in the chapters and everything. I did some names wrong yadee-yadee. Well I've fixed it now, but you might want to read the the chapter after the Library. I accidentally forgot putting that one online, so forgive me)

Chapter 13; What's happening?

May sighed content, it was nighttime and for the first time in years she was sleeping outside

She praised the gods above it was such a beautiful night and she was able to see the starlit sky. The sky was different from the one she had seen from the Hospital room and she tried to find as many figures as she could.

However, the only figure she was able to see was that of Drew's face. It seemed like all the stars she liked one second before so much, were forming his head and the hurt expression he had when he noticed she couldn't help him.

'No' she corrected herself; 'When Sora couldn't help him'.

She forcefully closed her eyes but the image seemed to be glued on the inside of her eyelids.

She sighed; this would be a long night.

May opened her eyes to face the sky again.

One second she would swear she saw a pokemon float through the sky.

'I must have imagined it' she told herself and rolled on her side. 'Still' her mind said 'that pokemon looked suspiciously like the one Professor Kardi showed' before she drifted to the black void called sleep.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

The next morning May woke from the ringing calls of the Starly's in the trees.

She sighed; she had to admit, the night had not brought her much peace as her night was filled with the shouts of a chartreuse haired boy named Drew.

And se wondered why he wouldn't leave her mind.

He was just a rival. Back then in Johto they had been friends but now she wasn't sure.

May shook her head to get rid of the annoying thoughts that plagued it.

She picked her mirror from her back to check if her wig was still in place and prepared breakfast.

Her Poke-nav told her the next city would be in less than three days traveling, but she had to cross Destiny-peak. May wondered why it was called that way, but in the end she shrugged it away.

She adjusted her back so it would be comfortable and continued her journey.

It was quiet and even though May had always traveled with other people, even if the other happened to be the not so talkative Drew, she thought it was nice.

She passed an old farm and wanted to continue when a very old woman stepped outside; "Oh my, such a young girl" she exclaimed happily.

May stopped surprised when she saw the old woman running towards her, surprisingly quick for such an old lady.

Before May knew it she was invited and dragged inside to eat some cookies (Yeee Cookies!!) and drink some milk.

Along their talk May learned the old woman lived alone since her husband had dies a few years ago and she went by the name Lana.

"Although I might be named differently by the villagers" Lana laughed. May raised her brow; "What names?"

Lana laughed even harder; "Old hag is a favorite one, or maybe Lunatic Lana, sounds nice as well" she said cheerful.

May smiled slightly; she liked the woman.

Lana had told her about her husband and when they were young. Lana told she had fallen in love with the village heartthrob, and even though he did not feel much for her in the beginning; he was slowly getting interested in her as well.

"Perhaps because I was the only one of the village-girls didn't faint with a single smile" she laughed.

May frowned; where had she heard this story before? It sounded familiar.

"And you dear, what about the one close to your heart?" Lana asked winking.

May blushed; "Uhm, I don't have someone like that" she said.

Lana laughed heartily again; "Now if that isn't a lie, girls of your age have always someone they like"

May blushed even more and poked her fingers against each other; "well maybe there is but..." her face darkened. Lana noticed the sudden change of mood;

"What is it dear?" she asked.

"I walked out of his life a few years ago, and now I've recently heard what kind of mess I've left, and hurt him very badly" May confessed.

Lana frowned; "how bad do you mean?"

May shook her head; "Badly enough for him to search the whole world to find me and quit doing what he loved to do the most" Unaware she touched her scar, something that didn't go by unnoticed by Lana.

The older woman smiled; "you are not who you say you are, huh?"

May smiled; "No, I'm not"

The elder woman nodded; "and where are you going, girl without name?" she asked.

May looked at the mountain, visible through the window; "I want to go to Elub but to get there I have to cross Destiny-peak" she answered.

Lana frowned; "Destiny-peak huh? Well let me give you one piece of advice; do not throw away something you don't know the true value off, for something which isn't as important as it looks"

The words sounded wise, but truthfully May didn't understand it; "I will thank you" May said even so.

And so she went on her way, looking at the shadow of the mountain, the path of her destiny.

Me: "So far, do you notice there is coming some progress here?"

Drew: "Yeah; you with a writers' block"

Me: "True, it will become better (I guess/ I hope)

May; "Well it was not an utter failure (munch munch)

Me: "Why thank...hey are those my cookies?!"

May; "You had them anyway"

Me: "Yeah FOR ME!!"

Drew: "Ugh, there they go again. Please review, maybe Riikani will calm down then"

Me: "GIMME BACK MY COOKIES"
