Me: "Hey everybody, thanks for staying so long with me. I realize it must be terrible to read through all those pointless chapters.

Drew: "The whole story is pointless"

Me: "Why thank you Drew; why don't you go sicken up somebody's else life?"

Drew: "Because you are writing a fiction which is apparently called Contestshipping, or in normal human; crap"

May: "That's enough Drew, don't mess with the Authoress"

Me: "TOO LATE, THIS WILL BE ANOTHER BREAK-DREW-EMOTIONALLY CHAPTER!!"

Drew: "Great, now I'm deaf as well!"

Me: "Live with it"

May: "Riikani doesn't own Pokemon or any of the characters, besides Vovori, Professor Kardi, and Lana..."

Me: "Would I be on fanfiction if I did own pokemon? I would be running a company then and thinking up more great ideas"

Drew; "That's enough flattery of yourself for today!"

Me: "Well, you obviously don't so, LIVE WITH IT"

Chapter 14; Too long to forget.

Drew walked without stopping once.

The words Kardi had said to him kept hunting him in his head; "she might be the only one to tell me where to find May" he muttered.

He had actually gotten a lot of time to think about May. 'What would I do when I saw her?' he asked himself.

Truthfully he didn't know. 2.5 Years back he had a reason to ask why she disappeared;

Because they were friends

But now?

He didn't know why he still searched for her, why he still felt regret about her. Apparently May wasn't his friend since she had left without saying anything.

Maybe it was because the feeling he used to get when she was around. As if his stomach was soaring.

Drew frowned; to him he didn't have any reason to find her (A/N; I could make him stop looking for May at this point...nah, bad idea) and yet here he was; chasing some girl he barely knew because of some information she could possibly have.

He sighed and pulled his hand through his hair; lately he didn't even recognize himself.

"Damn May, look at the mess you left" he muttered.

May panted; the mountain had looked easy to climb, boy, did she make a mistake...

And the sun was already setting!

May considered if she should continue, but when she fell flat on her face because of a rock she missed, May decided it was the best if she stopped for the night.

She made a campfire and fed her Pokemon; then she lay down herself down as well. She would get a heavy day tomorrow.

Drew sighed and looked at the mountain towering above him. He was just about to decide to rest when he saw a small fire lightening up.

'I guess that is Sora' he thought.

Of course he didn't know for sure but it gave him some hope and he started climbing the mountain ((A/N Yay for Drew and his...flawless...ness))

It was a heavy climb but in the end he succeeded to where Sora was sleeping.

She had only just fallen asleep and therefore she woke. It took May one second before she realized where she was.

'Oh that's right, I'm in the midst of destiny-peak' she thought.

When her eyes finally got used to the light of the fire she noticed she wasn't alone.

"Drew!" she shrieked.

Drew looked up; "Did I wake you?" he asked.

May frowned; "Probably, but I don't really mind". She leaned back on her hands. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

Drew thought he heard a sharp edge to her voice, but he didn't blame her.

"Saying sorry, I shouldn't have gotten that angry at you"

May smiled her half smile; one corner laughed with her, the other hang sadly down due to the scar. "Don't worry about it, I guess I do understand how you were feeling" But then she frowned again;

"But why do you want to find her that badly anyway? I mean; the only thing she did was leaving you; but from what I've heard; you guys did say goodbye to each other" she asked.

It had been bothering her for a while now. The fact that Drew for apparently no reason kept searching for her.

Drew smirked; "to tell the truth I have absolutely no idea. We were friends, you know that much, and Solidad has probably told you I saw her as a worthy rival" he pulled a face; probably at the fact that Solidad had told just about everything about him.

May chuckled softly and Drew raised his brow; "It's not that funny you know" he said.

He closed his eyes and let a breath escape his lips; "I guess I was that upset because of the fact I finally found someone I thought of as worthy and then that person disappears; without a single reason and leaving me alone in the dark"

May leaned forward as she hugged her knees; "And not because you felt something for her?" she asked. May knew she was treading dangerous waters now.

Drew scowled; "What do you mean with that?" he asked sharply.

May chuckled; "Exactly as I said" she answered.

Drew sighed; "I guess no more use of lying here huh?" he said. May shook her head; "nop, not really"

Drew sighed again and closed his eyes, his forehead leaned against the palms of his hands; "Sheesh you're even harder to deal with than with May." he muttered before taking a deep breath.

He knew his voice could be shaky, but tried to avoid that as much as possible.

"To be honest with you; I don't know"

May frowned; "You don't...know?" she asked.

Drew's eyes snapped open and looked at her angry; his usual reserved and even cold eyes now burning with rage; "Yes I don't know!!"

May tried one final time; risking it all "You don't know if you quit because of her or you don't know what your feelings were?" she asked carefully.

Drew calmed down; "No; you are right about the first; I did quit because of her" he sighed and shook his head.

"But...I don't know what I felt for her; yeah yeah..." he rolled his eyes as May opened her mouth."I know what I said; at first we were rivals, and I was content with that. Not long after; we slow but surely became friends, and...I was happy to be friends with her, but..."

He hesitated. May could see him doubt; not sure if he should tell it all. May nodded with her head; to sign him to continue.

"To say the truth; I felt like something wasn't complete yet".

Drew sighed again; it was the first time he had ever told this to anyone, and out of all people it had to be Sora; a girl he barely knew but yet reminded him so much of May. But against all odds, he did feel better by telling her this; so he continued.

"When May was around, my heart felt like it was beating twice as fast, and my stomach used to feel like it was soaring, and when she was gone; I would somehow feel really empty. It was however the last few weeks together when I realized; too short to know what it meant, and too short to figure it out.

I thought I would figure it out in our time apart, and then I would be able to tell her what I really felt when we would start a new journey together"

Drew laughed short; but it sounded ironic. "Can you believe that; the solitude Drew who actually wants to travel with someone else again; let alone a girl?"

His face darkened and it seemed now more than ever like every source of happiness was gone. Even the smirk that usually played at the corners of his mouth was gone.

"But heck; 2,5 years was too long, is too long, and then the announcement she quit; I was shattered back then; and I seemed not to be able to pick up the pieces. I just kept staring at the pieces and could only wonder what I had done wrong"

Drew shook his head, and May sweared she saw a few teardrops coming from his eyes. "I only then realized what I felt for her; that I felt something for her; more than just friendship"

Drew sighed and lay back on the ground; "Words I'll never say I guess" he muttered.

Then he smiled sadly towards her; "There's nothing more for me to tell, that was the whole story. Is it what you wanted to hear?" he asked.

May nodded; "Yeah...and maybe even more" then she lay down as well.

Me: "crap that was sad"

Drew: "Do you have to pull me through more suffering. It won't take too long now before the readers start to think I'm some sort of a wimp"

May: "You are actually worried about what they think of you?"

Drew: "Uh yeah, that's what my character is built on, now isn't it?"

May: "Ow that's too sweet..."

Me: "Please guys; get a room"

Drew: "Huh? What did I do?"

May: "I didn't do anything wrong"

Me: "It's not you're doing anything wrong; it's just too obvious. So there's my point GET A ROOM"

Drew: "Sheesh, you don't have to shout" (leaves the room)

May: "Okay..." (Leaves as well)

Me: "OMG 0.o they actually went to get a room (smirks evilly) this is working better than I thought. O well, there's nothing left for me to do so; please leave a review. And if you have read my page; you know English isn't my native language so corrections are welcome (but please don't be too rough, my English has been improving lately).

I updated earlier, that is because I will be going away for a few days. Don't worry, next week there'll be a new chapter.
