Me: "Hey everybody; here's another chapter of I've disappeared. This chapter took me a long time to write"

Drew: "But she did it, so be happy"

Me: "Yeah...huh...wait, how did you get out of that room??"

May: "Did you know Drew can pick lockets....oh crud" (runs off to hide diary, which I've read already, I can pick my own dairy-locket as well)

Me: "Nothing to do about it I guess. You're just in time to do the disclaimer"

Drew: "Can't I just don't do it?"

Me: "No; do it before I finally have my cross-over barbeque (read profile-page to get this joke...scroll all the way down)

Drew: "Alright, don't get your panties in a knot; Riikani doesn't own Pokemon, or the characters. She doesn't own anything but her imagination"

Me: "Great stuff; Imagination. Keeps you busy at school"

May: "START THE STORY!!!"

Me: "One sec, I want to thank all my reviewers. You guys are the best!!! (start sobbing)"

May: "There there, it's alright

Chapter 18; A family's fate

Last Time; "Hey Bro' What's goin' on her' "

Three creatures appeared from the nothing.

Vovori looked shocked; "Bro?" he asked.

Both May and Drew recognized the three as Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf.

The three Pokemon nodded; "Bro!" they confirmed.

"But...how?" Vovori asked puzzled.

Mesprit giggled; "Mew told us" she said.

Vovori knotted his (supposed-to-be) brows; "Mew?"

Azelf nodded; "Yeah; she was the one who created you as our supposed brother" she explained.

"We're a family yo!" Uxie said; he seemed extremely delighted he found his brother. Nobody could blame him with two sisters though.

"Family" Vovori repeated hesitatingly, tasting the word. Then he smiled as well; "Family" he said concluding.

"But what's going on here? I can sense a lot of emotion coming from here; sadness Anger, happiness, confusion...kinda pulled me in" Mesprit said, deadly serious now.

Azelf looked questionly as well, but she looked more at the two stunned humans then at her brother. "And a lot of courage and will-power as well" she said.

Uxie bounced a few times in the air angrily; "but a huge disuse of common sense though the knowledge is there" he said.

Vovori grinned and turned to May and Drew. "Ah" Uxie said understanding while Mesprit floated to May.

May had been silently crying knowing what would happen when they stopped talking; Drew would make his sacrifice then.

"Why are you said; little girl?" Mesprit asked. May looked at the ground.

Drew hadn't said one word to her.

"You don't have to tell; I can read it right off you". May looked up shocked and Mesprit chuckled; "No I didn't read your mind; your face is speaking volumes"

Azelf floated over to Drew and examenized him. Drew still refused to look up.

Then she hit him on his head, pretty vicious as well. "You're stubborn" she concluded.

"You think?" Drew muttered angrily, rubbing the soar spot on his head.

Azelf frowned; "Yeah. You first wanted something so dearly you didn't want to give up on it, and now you're trying your hardest to want the opposite" she said, clearly annoyed.

Drew's head snapped up; "And why exactly are you telling me this! I'm no freaking book to read!" he snapped. It earned him another hit on his head.

Apparently Azelf was angry as well; "no but your internal conflict is draining me empty. Use your freaking head!" she said grim.

Uxie grinned and knocked on both Drew's (who had now been hit 3 times) and May's head. "Use ya' mind; even I can tell you feel somethin' fo' eachothe', and that's Mesprit's section" he said.

Mesprit threw one look at May before floating over to Vovori. "Why are they acting this way?" she asked.

Vovori shrugged; "apparently she wants to get rid of her scar while he has found her after 2,5 years. And now that she is ready to offer her love, he wants to do that in her place, because without her his life is a hell" he explained quickly.

May gawked at him; how the heck did he fit the whole tragedy in a few sentences? (A/N HP quote-thingy I know))

Mesprit frowned; "Offer her love??...what's that all about?" she asked curious.

Vovori shrugged again; "I can't do things as I wish" he said. Azelf looked up; "Why?"

Vovori smirked; "I'm no divine creature like you guys" he answered.

Uxie smirked; "Well that's something we could fix, can't we?" he asked the other Pokemon.

They nodded.

"Huh" Vovori asked confused; "What are you going to do?"

Mesprit thought for a second but then smiled; "Family bonding I guess" she said.

"What's going on? What's going to happen?" May asked. Mesprit smiled at the nervous and slightly panicking teenager; "Making sure no sacrifices have to be made from now on" she simply answered.

The two teens looked at the 4 beings closing a circle and May sweared she saw bolts of light following their entwined hands.

Drew wasn't sure what to think; May would get healed without a sacrifice of either of them; that was a good thing.

But he would not get rid of those cursed feelings, and that was definitely not a good thing.

"Now, are you ready?" Vovori kindly asked May.

May swallowed and stepped forward.

Vovori started to gathering light; just as before.

May closed her eyes; not sure if she wanted to look. Drew however kept his wide open, and saw one of the few miracles in his life.

There were only a few things Drew counted as miracles; a birth of Pokemon or human, the growth of a rose, Roselia and his other Pokemon, and May.

And now he was watching the rebirth of May's face, or rather the reverse of her face.

He saw the scar turning pink, then red, raw, and black before the skin was completely gone. May whimpered and Drew shuddered. He suddenly realized how badly she had been injured and despised it even more he hadn't been there for her back then,

It then looked as if her skin burned back; Drew had no other way to explain it. And as suddenly as it started, it ended.

And that was May he saw, the old May; pressing her eyes closed.

Drew chuckled; "May, you can open your eyes now"

May opened her eyes; "Is it over?" She asked.

Drew pretended like he was looking very hard, and May suddenly looked very worried as she looked at Drew terrified.

"It didn't work?" she asked scared.

Drew smirked and May realized he was only teasing her; "You meanie, I was really scared" she punched him lightly on his arm.

Drew laughed softly, almost solemn; "I'm sorry, you look great" he said softly.

May looked at him; her eyes widened. This was the first time she had ever heard Drew compliment her directly.

Drew smiled again, sadly this time; "Smile for me, May" he said. It was not a question, more like a plea.

"Why?" she asked.

Drew shook his head, no happiness was left in his smile; "Just...smile for me".

And May smiled, she didn't know why and it was strained, but she smiled.

Drew nodded and May could swear she saw a lonely tear roll over his face.

"..Thanks..." he said and he walked out of the cave without saying anything else.

May immediately wanted to go after him, but she wasn't sure if the four Pokemon would let her. "Go May" Mesprit said. "Otherwise you'll regret it forever, and so will he"

May smiled lightly at the four before taking the same path Drew had taken just earlier.

"Ah, young love" Mesprit sighed content.

"Vovori, would you want to come with us?" Azelf asked and Vovori had one moment a confused look on his face.

"We have a lot of catching up to go" She explained and transported away.

Vovori smiled when the other two transported as well, before he himself went after them.
