As the sun rose on that morning Kiba was the first to wake up having Kaia's arms around his neck. He looked out side it was still pretty early the deer should be out eating the grass right now. He looked down at Kaia although she begged him not to go out side the house in his human form he then looked back outside since it was this early he figured that there wasn't going to be any humans in the forest at this early hour. Slowly getting out from her gentle grasp he jumped off the bed turning into his human form he covered Kaia with the blankets and kissed her on the forehead and whispered in her ear. "I love you." With that being said he went to the window and leaped out and landing on the floor in his wolf form. Taking off into the forest he did his thing and began to hunt for his prey. After a couple of minutes of hunting he finally found a deer eating a patch of grass Kiba began to stalk his prey he finally got into position to attack the deer quickly looked up and looked around the area when went back to eating Kiba leaped out of his hiding place and sank his teeth into the deer's neck bringing it down to the ground. Choking the deer from its air Kiba tighten his jaw grip on the deer's throat until it made a gurgling sound until it stopped fighting for it's life. Kiba gave a wolfish smirk in victory. Although he loved Kaia's cooked food but he couldn't help miss the taste of raw meat. So he began to eat away the deer's meat. Licking the blood from his jaw Kiba heard a click coming behind quickly turning his head he didn't see anything hearing another click he turned back around in front of him. He began to growl there was something watching him and it was right in front of him.

This was pissing him off he got up on all four then "BANG" echoed through the forest Kiba dodged the bullet but it managed to his leg he then dashed forward at the shooter then sinking his teeth into his neck taking him down. Looking behind the shooter he saw a man holding a radio to his mouth. "ROGER ROGER IT:S HERE IT:S HERE THE WOLF IS HERE AT SOUTH EAST BY THE WATER FALL!" The man shouted into the radios "NO!" Kiba shouted as he attacked and killed the man and crushed the radio under his paw. 'damnit now they now….KAIA!" Kiba quickly turned around and headed back to the house where Kaia still laid asleep in her bed. Once Kiba reached the house he could see the hunters coming out from the forest he ran inside up stairs and into the room and gently shook Kaia rapidly on the shoulder.

"Kaia…Kaia get up we have to go get up we need to leave!" Kiba nearly shouted

Kaia slowly reopened her eyes and rubbed them with her hands and looked up at Kiba still sleepy. "Mmmnn Kiba…what's wrong what happed?" she asked in a tired voice.

"You two go upstairs and you two check down here that thing has to be around here somewhere." Kiba heard the floor creak and picked up Kaia bridal style in his arms and carried her to the closet. Kaia looked up at Kiba when he picked her up not really understanding what was going on until she heard voices coming up the stairs she wrapped her arms around his neck while in his arms they found them. Kiba place Kaia on the ground and got into his wolf form he turned to Kaia "Stay here and be quiet." Kiba said Kaia nodded her head, he then went to the side of the door and laid down. One hunter walked into the room with an AK47 in hand he saw Kaia and quickly pointed at her. "You who are you what are you doing here?" The man questioned but Kaia gave him a glare and didn't say anything to him the man readied his gun to be fired. "I asked you a question now answer!" again she didn't say anything as he walked over to her that's when Kiba attacked clenching his teeth onto the mans neck, the man fired off his gun and screamed Kaia got up quickly and closed the door locking it so nobody could come in. "Kaia lets go!" Kiba shouted Kaia ran to Kiba not looking at the dead body that laid on the floor. Kiba picked up Kaia and jumped out the window looking around he didn't see anybody he then set Kaia down.

"Kiba what is going on who are these people?" Kaia asked looking up at Kiba

"There's no time to explain we need to keep moving." Kiba pulled on her arm but Kaia wouldn't move.

"No you tell me what going on now Kiba why are they here?" Kaia asked but Kiba turned around and took in her lips kissing her passionately ultimately calming down Kaia. Kiba then stroked her face. "Listen I'll explain everything as soon as we get out of here Kaia so until then we need to keep moving." Kiba said as he looked into her eyes, Kaia nodded her head and hugged him and he hugged back. Kaia lifted her head from his shoulders and looked up her eyes widened as she quickly turned Kiba around switching sides with him. A loud gun fire echoed through the meadow Kiba felt Kaia being pushed forward he took her into his arms not knowing what just happened when he looked up he saw a shooter aiming his gun at them as he was about to attack he noticed that his hands were shaking, but why was he afraid of Kiba? it wouldn't be the first that somebody was afraid of Kiba.

"N-no…o-oh my god….I-I'm so sorry…I-I didn't mean to shot I just.." the mans voice sounded like he was about to burst out into tears. Then Kaia's body became like liquid she couldn't stand up straight she brought Kiba down to the floor now Kiba was worried. "Kaia….Kaia what's wrong…answer me!" Kiba said Kaia looked up at Kiba with tears in her eyes. "K-Kiba….I….I don't feel….so good." Kaia said in a soft voice, He didn't know what was wrong with her, Kiba's heart almost stopped beating when he felt something liquid warm and sticky cover his hand lifting his hand from her back his heart skipped beats when he saw his hand covered with blood. Kaia then began to black out Kiba tried to keep her awake. "KAIA…KAIA DON'T FALL ASLEEP STAY WITH ME STAY WITH ME KAIA PLEASE STAY WITH ME!" Kiba yelled but Kaia blacked out Kiba's eyes widened and began to fill with tears he then looked up at the shooter with a pissed off look. Kiba gently laid Kaia on the floor and stood up clenching his fist walking toward the man, Kiba's teeth soon turned into wolf fangs and his eyes turning from a blue to a gold colored. The man fell back and began to crawl away. "YOU BASTEREDS YOU DID THIS TO HER YOU SHOT HER. WELL NOW ITS YOUR TURN BY THE END OF THIS DAY MY TEETH WILL BE BATHED IN THE BLOOD OF ALL OF YOU!!" Kiba yelled with rage as he took his wolf form, taking a step forward to the man along with the other gun men. "P-P-Please wait it was an accident I-I didn't mean to please I have a family a wife and a child back home please." The man begged but Kiba took more steps forward. "You took my family away from me I'm going to take all of you away from your families." Kiba said and her leaped killing all of them brutally. He then ran back and picked up Kaia's motionless body and ran into the village.

Kaia then woke up on a train she knew that she wasn't in the village it was cold in the train. She looked up at Kiba who was holding her in his arms her head was resting ho his chest while the side of her body leaned up against his body. She was really cold and in a great deal of pain she looked up at Kiba and noticed the tears dropping from his cheek a small faint smile appeared on her lips she reached up her hand and whipped the tears away, making Kiba jump a little and look at her his eyes still being filled with tears, Kaia cupped his cheek and he quickly grabbed her hand. "Hey….Kiba….what's with the tears….what are you crying huh what happened.? Kaia asked in a soft voice but Kiba continued to look down at her he then hugged her and kissed her ever so passionately as tears rolled down his face. "I thought I lost you I really thought I lost you Kaia. Why….why did you take the bullet for me Kaia why?" Kiba asked in a sad voice Kaia blushed faintly from his kiss and cupped his cheek again. "You really are silly aren't you Kiba….I did it because I love you….I didn't want you to get hurt…." Kaia said faintly Kiba held her close to him.

"Kaia you need to stay awake alright stay with me." He said

"W-where are we going?" She asked

"There wasn't a hospital where we were staying I needed to get you out of there I took a train that was heading into one of the cities in the snow. We'll be there soon just hang in there" He said

Kaia gave a small giggle and looked up at Kiba "I'll try but…I'm…really…cold…and really…tired." Kaia said Kiba looked down at her. "Kaia can you sing me that lullaby…can you sing for me again?" Kiba asked Kaia smiled and began to hum then sing the lullaby to him (Cheza's song). Kiba looked down at Kaia as she sang for him with questions running through his head. Was she going to make it, will she be alright, can I save her, will we make it to the hospital on time? He wasn't sure but he wanted her to sing for him that lullaby, the song was beautiful and it filled him with hope. The train the pushed forward Kiba looked out side the window and saw humans trying to jump on the train and they were able to, the train then came to a complete stop Kiba looked out they were so close just a few more miles to go and they would be there. Not wasting any time Kiba sat Kaia down on the seat and kneeled down with his back facing her he grabbed onto her arms and placed them over his shoulders then grabbed onto her legs and lifted her up caring her on his back. The two then jumped off the train and Kiba began to run through the cold snow and wind. He could hear Kaia shivering. "Kaia…Kaia stay with me Kaia stay awake stay with me ." Kiba said but when she didn't respond he quickly stopped and looked at her….her eyes were closed. "Kaia….Kaia….KAIA!" Kiba yelled as he shook her shoulders, he saw her eyes move and sighed with relief and held her close to him to keep her warm. "Kiba….why are you yelling at me….I'm awake don't worry." Kaia said her voice now very soft. "Kaia you need to stay awake we're almost there we can get you help but you need to stay awake Kaia please." Kiba said worryingly but Kaia gave him a small smile and cupped his cold cheek. "You were always the worried one Kiba…its been a while that I've seen the snow….can we….stay here a little longer I miss the cold breeze that I was born in…can we stay here a little longer….please?" Kaia asked but Kiba looked at the city then back at her.

"I promise I'll bring you back out here but we need to keep moving." Kiba said before Kaia could answer Kiba had already picked her back up again and started to run with her on his back. "Kaia can you please sing that song to me again one more time please." Kiba said Kaia slowly reopened her eyes and nodded her head against his back. 'Yes…just…one…more…time…but first I….I need to tell him' Kaia thought to her self "Kiba…I'll sing but I just wanted to say something to you…ever since I was a little girl I always loved wolfs and even as I grew up I still loved them even though my parents and teachers told me that they were bad. The only person that didn't tell me that they were bad was my brother….he…he told me…that…one…day a wolf will come to me seeking for help…at first I didn't believe him because they've been extinct but when he died I started to loose all hope in everything including what he told me but….then you came to me….on that one day and stayed with me…and loved me…Kiba…you have no idea how much you mean to me….you have no idea how much I love you and still do to this very day…you are my world you are my sky you are my life you are my paradise Kiba you always were from the moment I met you…Im sorry that I'm dying Kiba…seeing someone close to you must be the hardest thing in the world…but Kiba believe me there was someone out there that needed you and who you needed back…..someone who wants from the bottom oh her heart to be with you no….no matter what the future hold…you two will get through it together….someone who shattered the darkness within your heart and showed you the light….Kiba….I'm happy….very happy that I was the one to do that to you…Kiba don't ever give up your wolf pride and don't ever forget…what I told you…never forget…kiba" Kaia said, as Kiba ran tears came rolling down his face "SHUT UP YOUR NOT GOING TO DIE NOT HERE NOT EVER I WONT LOSE YOU I CANT LOSE MY PARADISE I CANT I LOVE YOU TO FUCKING MUCH KAIA I CANT LOSE YOU YOU'RE THE REASON WHY I EXSIST IN THIS WORLD YOU'RE MY REASON OF LIVING!!" Kiba yelled, Kaia's eyes widened slightly but she smiled and blushed she began to hum and then sing the lullaby to Kiba.

They were almost there and at the end of the song Kaia said it in English. "The moon shines high bright you can hear the wolfs calling follow the howls….find me….in….para…dise. I love you Kiba" With her last breath Kaia sang the last part of the song. Kiba heard the end of her song but continued to run. "Kaia can you sing for me one more time.' Kiba asked but no answer came from Kaia. "Hey Kaia I cant hear you singing." With another no response coming from Kaia Kiba stopped and looked over his shoulders "Kaia…." Once he looked over his shoulders he saw Kaia resting her head on his back her eyes were closed and she was motionless. Kiba's eyes shot open he quickly sat her down and held her in his arms tapping the side of her cheeks with his hand. "Kaia….Kaia….Kaia wake up….Kaia….we're already here you need to wake up….please Kaia you need to wake up come on sing the lullaby to me one more time please….Kaia…Kaia…." Kiba's eyes stayed widened he began to shake her shoulder a little trying to wake her up but nothing. "Kaia….KAIA WAKE UP….KAIA…WAKE UP KAIA WAKE UP COME ONE WAKE UP KAIA WAKE UP. KAIA!!" Kiba looked at the motion less body and tears dropped down from his eyes and he sank his head into her shoulder screaming her name. "KAIA….KAIA…KAIA!!" He picked up his head to look at her he stroked her face as his tears dropped on her face cheek. "Kaia….Kaia wake up….come back….Kaia…come back ….come back to me….Kaia….please….please don't leave me alone again." Kiba begged but Kaia stayed with her eyes closed, Kiba held the motionless body close to him with one hand on the back of her head sinking it into his shoulder he then squeezed his eyes closed and screamed with sadness as he held his beloved's body in his arms. His cries echoed through the area of the snowy cold blizzard. Kiba picked up Kaia bridal style and jumped the wall entering the city he walked through the city holding the body within his arms. He looked around and then back down at Kaia.

"H-Hey Kaia look this place….it looks like the place that we first met it looks like your home." Kiba said as she rest her head against his shoulder his eyes were blank like as if he lost his mind but he was still sane, As he walked through the city he came across a small cemetery he walked in it was old and dirty every where he looked he found a cement bench that was under a old but still alive tree. He walked over to it and laid Kaia down on the bench he crossed her arms on her chest and he kneeled down in front of her holding her hand while looking at her. "I remember that day back at home when I found you out side sitting underneath the cheery blossom tree. You looked like an angel when the petals from the flowers circled you. Do you remember that day Kaia…..do you?" Kiba asked but Kaia remained silent her eyes closed "Hey…do you remember when you saw me in the bath room and how you called me a perverted wolf and when I ran out you fell on you butt do you remember that Kaia?" Kiba asked again but again Kaia didn't answer. "Kaia….Kaia please answer me….please say something to me….please…anything….just please say something." Kiba begged as he cupped her once warm rosy cheek now a cold pale cheek. "Come one Kaia say something….tell…tell me everything is going to be alright….tell me that your going to be ok….please open your eyes please open your eyes I want to see your eyes again Kaia." Kiba begged but still nothing Kiba squeezed her hand as tears began to roll down from his cheek he leaned down and kissed her. Her lips were no long warm and soft but hard and cold. He pressed his forehead against hers as he squeezed his eyes shut his tears wetting her face. "I….I-I'm sorry….I-I'm sorry….I couldn't protect you….I couldn't save you. Im sorry." Kiba said in between his cries. He then looked down at her stomach and gently placed his hand on top.

Kiba felt a line being cut as he realized there was nothing he could do, his voice couldn't reach her, his touch could not bring her back to him or show her blush on the face. He will no longer see her smiling face he will no longer feel her touch, he can never enjoy her kisses or her embrace he will never see her again Kaia was gone and there was nothing he could do to bring her back the one person who took him in and cared for him the person that he loved was gone. Kiba couldn't hold back anymore he sat back and pressed his forehead into his hand and burst out into tears his family his one true love was gone and all he head to remember her was the dark gray jacket that she gave him. Looking around Kiba found a white/pink blanket hanging from a rope line jumping he grabbed it and looked down at her one last time before placing the blanket over her body before covering her face he kneeled down and kissed her one last time he just wanted to never forget the feeling of her lips against his. As he covered her face he said one last thing to her "There will be no one that will replace you…I'll see you…in paradise…" Going into his wolf form Kiba licked her hand and felt a heart breaking stabbing feeling when he turned and walked away. As the new day started Kiba walked through town in his wolf form limping as he passed a T.V store he head something about a body being found and looked up at the screens. "Earlier today a body was found in the wood lawn cemetery the body was Kaia Kutatomo was found in the cemetery she was shot from behind and died of massive blood loss, she was laying in the cemetery with a blanket covering her body. Investigators have taken the body and the police are now taking looking for suspects." The reporter announced, Kiba looked away from the screen and continued to walk through the city when it became dark he found a tree in the middle of the city he crawled into the tree and collapsed on the floor within the tree.

Kiba sat in an never ending darkness looking down at the floor until he felt a hand cup his cheek. "Kiba…you look sad, what's wrong?" A familiar voice asked Kiba looked up and his eyes widened when he saw Kaia standing him front of him, with her smile on her face Kiba reached out his hand and cupped her face Kaia closed her eyes and leaned into his touch as she blushed. Kiba moved forward then pulled her in to him and held her close to him and hugged her as she did the same to him tears began to roll down his face. "Kaia..I…I thought you were….oh god thank you." Kiba said as he nuzzled his face into her neck making her blush and giggle. "Kiba why are you crying hm?" Kaia said as she whipped his tears away Kiba chuckled and shook his head within her neck. "Heh no reason really I…just…thought I lost you that's all but you're here so why cant I stop crying?" Kiba said as Kaia continued to whip the tears from his eyes. "Kiba I told you didn't I….I love you to much to leave you….don't you remember me telling you that?" Kaia asked and Kiba nodded his head "You'll never leave me Kaia? You'll never leave me?" Kiba asked and Kaia shook her head "I will always be with you Kiba I love you so much, Kiba promise you wont give up on your dreams." Kaia said Kiba looked at her and smiled at her. "I promise Kaia….please stay with me." Kiba asked, A bright light shined over them Kaia looked up at it then back at Kiba. "I'm not going anywhere Kiba. I will always be with you in here." Kaia said as she pressed her hand on his heart Kiba looked at her knowing that this was a dream. "But what about in reality Kaia please say that what I wake up we're going to be back at the house in the meadow and your still sleeping by my side with our child." Kiba asked as he held her close to him. Kaia sighed and wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "Kiba….I only wish that I can make that come true if I had the power I would make that come true but I don't. But believe me Kiba I will be there with you every step on the way and I will be there to guide you and those who will follow you Ill will always be here when you need me." Kaia said Kiba looked down crushed but Kaia lifted his chin the two leaned into each other and kissed feeling each others lips and felling one another in they're embrace once the kiss ended Kiba and Kaia hugged one another she then whispered something into his ear. "Kiba….its….time to wake up."

Kiba still had his eyes closed sleeping under the tree he could hear somebody talking. "Hey check it out."
"What is that? A dog…?"
"…Looks pretty big."
Tsume stopped walking, Tsume felt his face scrunch up into a slight snarl as the stench of blood wafted through the air. He ignored Gehl curious gaze and set his eyes deadlock at the large tree where the entire gang situated their base for the past few years. The scent of a wolf, especially a MALE one, set him off edge. It affected him mostly due to the fact that the wolf had the guts to enter his territory. Male wolves were known to be easily irritated and vicious.
Tsume walked up towards the tree and the group finally noticed his arrival.
"Bring it out." Tsume told the man closest to Kiba who laid there motionless. The man gulped but otherwise reached out into the hallow opening, Kiba was half awake half asleep his mind refusing to let the dream end until he heard Kaia's voice echoing in his ears "KIBA GET UP! KIBA!" He heard Kaia shouting the mans hands nearly inches away from Kiba before he suddenly shot up and strike.
Tsume glared as he watched one of his men fall, then another who tried to kill the approaching Kiba. "Tch…the punk is still alive…" He thought before noticing the foreign white wolf had its eyes dead targeted on Gehl, the younger of the bunch. Tsume cursed, although he didn't like humans, Gehl so he did the only thing he could do and that was to engage the enemy. After punching Gehl away from Kiba's sight, Tsume took out his knuckle blade and waved it slightly as if to mock Kiba who was snarling. It seemed to have the desired affect because as soon as Tsume took off running, Kiba followed hot on his heels.
It was only after a few minutes of running, Tsume stopped as he reached the crumbling end of the tower that he and Kiba had just climbed. Turning around, Tsume gave a nonchalant stare at the white wolf who stood his guard in front of him. Tsume dropped his illusion, knowing it was useless to keep it up any longer.
"That was pretty spunky of you…" Tsume commented, meaning the death of his two men a few minutes ago.
"I was only protecting myself." The wolf replied.
"Killing seems so naturally for you…"
Kiba snarled. "What's so wrong about killing!? IF you do it to protect the yourself and the ones that you love then what wrong with taking a life?!"
"In this city, there are rules." Tsume explained. Kiba just lifted his head and barked. "So parading around with humans who do nothing but steal and cause harm and are considered scum are rules?"
Tsume growled and felt his claws digging hard into the cement under him.
"…you got a big mouth for someone who half dead…" Tsume snarled, baring his teeth.
"What's the meaning to life if you thrown away your pride?! You have no life!" The white wolf barked.
Tsume felt his hackles rise. "You're really starting to piss me off…!" He bent down low and launched towards KIba in anger as Kiba did the same, both managing to snap their teeth against the other's skin and draw blood. They passed one another but kept their circling and launch more attacks ferociously, sending fur and blood flying everywhere as they tried to kill one another with their fangs.
It was only when Tsume was knocked onto the ground that he smelled the scent of Gehl he ran out in front of Tsume waving a crowbar at Kiba who just jumped back easily dodging ths small attack. Kiba looked back at Tsume and gave him a look of disgust, he did only live a life with people who were scums. Tsume didn't give a damn to the wolf's disgust and instead got up on all fours while snarling and snapping at the other male.
"It'd be best that you leave, punk!" Tsume threatened. Kiba glared but otherwise followed Tsume's advice and began to leave. Once Kiba was out of site from Tsume he walked around the city once again limping on one foot and jumping on another he walked down an ally filled with bums who were trying to keep warm around a trash that was on fire. He couldn't help but think back to the time that he save Kaia from that man who tried to rape her and it was on that day when he received his first kiss from her. As he walked down another ally he thought back to the cold day when she found him half dead in the snow. But he soon came back to reality when he heard a click form a gun he looked back and saw an old man pointing a sniper rifle at him and on his side was a black wolf with blue eyes. The other wolf charged and Kiba, Kiba turned and faced the wolf snarling at her. When it leaped for an attack Kiba was shot in the shoulder and brought down. Kiba awoke in a cage with a guy with brown curly hair and a black Collar around his neck wearing a yellow seat shirt and baggy pants he kneeled in his human form and smiled down at Kiba.

"So are you going to get out of there or are you just going to play dead?"

Kiba opened one eye and looked up at the stranger then closed his eye again "I can get out of here when ever I want I just need to rest."

"Oh really well you have a really bad taste in hotels buddy let me tell you that"

Kiba was getting annoyed "Why do you hid your true form with that form what you let go of your pride?" Kiba asked but the stranger just smiled and chuckled

"Im using this form so I don't end up where your at besides what good is pride anyway?"

Kiba shot up and snarled at the stranger. "So you gave up your pride to live with these people who do nothing but kill and take lives that's bull how can you throw away your pride for that tell me!" Kiba demanded to know but again the stranger just smiled and chuckled again

"What good is pride if your dead?"

Kiba just stared at the stranger he was right but although Kaia told him to never give up his wolf pride what good id it if you are dead

"Heh you're a strange one pal my name is Hige."

It was when everything started going downhill from here….
…Kiba and Hige became friends and Tsume and Toboe met and the city then the world were now on the look out for four wolves heading to paradise with the lunar flower
