Waking up in a new world is terrifying. For Kiera, she is dumped into this world, but in the wrong age to make a difference. For residents of Gondolin, their once isolated city will be shaken with the arrival of humans. For a few elves, the pull of humans is intriguing. While some develop friendships, only two turn into love, pushing the boundaries of mortal and immortal unions.

AzureSkye's "Reclamation" got my own plot bunnies hopping of what could happen to Mairon next. Curumo's plots against Mairon come to a head, but who can rescue Mairon when no one can find him?

Finrod, in the Halls of Mandos after giving his life for Beren, reflects on the mistakes he made when alive.

Finarfin, wisest son of Finwë, had an inkling what the Oath would drive his nephews to do. Like any uncle, he would do what he could to spare them that. Or how the youngest child of Finwë gave everyone some bad days.

Loyal to the Valar, Mairon forges the finest weapons Arda has ever seen. But an old friend returns who once turned his back on the gods and betrayed his kin. He wants to convince Mairon to turn his back on the light and join his ranks, promising him power and freedom he never had.

Melkor has always been content to be alone. He neither needs nor wants anything that he can't already create or provide for himself. That is, until he sees Aulë's prized Maia dancing freely in the fields on the first night of the Valar's feast to celebrate the creation of Eä. (Melkor/Mairon) (Rated T for alcohol consumption and very mild suggestive themes.)

Part 304 posted, in which the surviving Rohirrim escape Edoras. They come to Harrowdale with many wounded and rejoin Princess Heorte and the refugees. At Underharrow they take counsel for their future with the expectation of an impending attack by Wulf and the allied Dunlendings and Corsairs. OCs galore as usual.

After the destruction of the Ring, Sauron makes a last, desperate attempt at survival and Celebrimbor comes across something familiar in the land of Avathar. What was broken might be remade.

SA 1600-01. Following their return to Middle Earth, Gloredhel and Glorfindel find their footing at Forlond and the court of yet another High King with all the political and cultural complexities that have occurred since their deaths. In time, Gloredhel rides west to search for Gwaihir and take counsel with Celebrimbor, now that Annatar has been revealed as Gorthaur returned.

The Fall of Gondolin destroyed everyone for different reasons. Eldir, Andir, and Ellie lost their mother and father, while Celebrimbor lost the love of his life. Together as a family, they pick up the broken pieces and move toward a better future. While the knowledge of the future is limited, Celebrimbor has hope that the worst is over, and he can live a happy life with his kids.

A lost and lonely sailor listens at night as a new voice rises, intertwining with the melody of the sea. (Or A retelling of Beren and Lúthien's meeting in a Mermaid!AU).

A tale of the middle child of Thingol and Melian. One that brought sorrow and joy. In the woods of Doriath the trees whisper of heavy hearts. By the river Aelin-Uial the water murmurs of deliverance.

A wine-fueled faux pas has left a rift between Gil-galad and Elrond, maybe. If a week out of town and a new wardrobe can't set things right, there's always the sparring ring. (COMPLETE) Can be read standalone, but more appropriately as the continuation of 'Duty, Gossip, Wine, and Buoys'

Valinor, post-canon. Maedhros is reembodied just as he was before going to Middle-earth. He has trouble adjusting.

Melkor finally gets free and descends to Arda to bring Dagor Dagorath to the world and get his revenge.

Before he was the Dark Lord Sauron, there was Mairon the Maia. The long, winding path of destiny does not always have good things in store. A tale of corruption and darkness, that eventually ends in the evil staining Middle Earth.

One Sindarin elf was born with a much greater Ósanwë gift than the others, which he discovered while still a child. Much later, as an adult, when he encounters an enemy after the battle, he will realize – thanks to his gift – that the encounter is very unusual.
