AN: Meh, this has been running 'round in my head for months now...
I told myself that I wouldn't put anything new on until I updated 'Denial' though... Well, that idea didn't work... mainly 'cause I've given up on the story... It died on me ):
Anyways... yeah... The prologue is kinda weird... and a bit short ):... oh well.

--Prologue - Operation: XIII.10--
It's cold.
I blinked and sat up, wrapping my arms around myself in a vain attempt to gather a little warmth.
Why is it so cold?
I looked around. That didn't help much, it was so dark that all I could make out was the vague outlines of the buildings surrounding me.
Buildings?
Okay. That was a bit of a shock I guess...
A little wind stirred around me and I felt something flutter against my bare chest as I shivered.
Bare? What the hell's going on!?
I checked. Yep, bare.
Something weird is going on...
I looked around again and spotted the tattered remains of my clean, white shirt. On the ground. By my feet. When I picked it up I saw purple cloth lying beneath.
...Skirt?...
Omigosh!! My skirt - I glanced down again... My pants too!? This time I also noticed blood surrounding me.
Oh, dear Lord, what's been happening?
I should have been more observant the first time I looked around, I decided, so I checked out the area ahead of me again. With a little guesswork I figured out that I was in an alley... somewhere close to my school...
We're in an alley? But why?! What's happened to us? Why are we covered in your blood? And... why... why can I... taste it?...
I honestly don't know... ...Wait. Us!?

"XIII.10 complete Superior - the subject is confused and the victim is out cold again. But... one thing, sir... why another girl? - This one may be intelligent but she isn't at all agressive... and... there's a female amongst us already..."
The voice paused for a moment as the speaker listened to the reply in his earpiece.
"Of course, Superior. I didn't mean to question you, sir. I'll bring them both to headquarters immediately."
Another pause,
"As you wish, sir. XI out."
