Tony and Pepper: 200 days to focus on.
From the Pepperony 100 and 200 challenges
Theme 001 Rich:
It was something undeniable. She was every part of him and his world, but she was the one thing that he could not have. She had come to him when he first took control of the company. Not in the years when he was legally old enough, but a few years later when he began to really put his stamp on the company. It was one thing to think about the past or the future, but it was completely different to think about the present.
In the present she was across from him, neatly eating her chicken Caesar salad. She was perfection, and just for a moment she was his.
"You've got a three o' clock today with the head of R&D," she consulted her blackberry. "He's got a new weapon to show you."
"Is it highly destructive and loud?" he swirled his wine before sipping."
"Yes," she shook her head, "but, Tony, you can't base business decisions based off that."
"I've got the money and power, last I saw it was my name on the building."
"But we'd all like to keep our jobs," she scrolled through the blackberry again, checking over his schedule. "You've also got the banquet tonight in honor of the Tony Stark MIT Scholarship."
"And you'll be there in a ridiculous dress, right?"
"Ridiculous dress and ridiculous shoes."
"Then I suppose I'll suffer through the R&D meeting," he flashed a smile at her. "Anything to see you in a dress that almost shows your ass."

She purposely came in later. She had put him in his limo and sent him on to the party earlier just so she could escape her desires. As she got out, the cool breeze hit her exposed lower back, reminding her what she had done for him. Walking into the ballroom, she was swept away by the sea of dresses flitting around her. Each of the women were vying for Tony's attentions; but were content to gossip about him as they waited for attention.
"He's donated enough money to put three students completely through school," One whispered.
"He won't miss it. Hell, he probably gave that assistant of his a shock when he signed the check," her companion whispered back.
"I'm sure that little red-head loves her job. Imagine it, she spends hours upon hours with him."
"Probably doesn't even appreciate it."
She passed by the gossips only to find herself standing in front of Tony.
"You're late," he took her hand and led her out onto the dance floor.
"I had business to take care of," she followed his steps. "Everyone is staring at us."
"I'm rich," he laughed. "They're always going to stare."
