"Seldom does true love end with a happy ending."
"Never were truer words spoken." Arkarian said. Reading from some really old book. I still can't believe how lucky I am to have him.
"Until now. Right, Arkarian? We get our happy ending?"
"Yes, my love. We get our happy ending." he said, another reason to love him.
"Good. " Ever since the battle, I am making sure I never have to live without him. He's still down about losing his father, but he's getting better. He always tells me how lucky he is to have me, but I know it's the other way around.
"Oh. It's almost 5 o'clock. Remember, the meeting today, let's get going."
Neriah
When Isabel and Arkarian walked into the room, and Matt was eyeing them more suspiciously than usual. "Matt, calm down, They aren't doing anything wrong." I told him in my mind. Then when his face returned to normal, Arkarian began the meeting.
"Well, the sphere, it's ... spinning, again." Arkarian said. After about 2 minutes of everyone silently taking in the news. Jimmy finally says,
"Oh, so you think it's the Order that's doing this?"
"Well, who else would it be? " Dillon says.
"You're right. Where has it stopped?" Matt says, with a matter of fact attitude.
"Well, it's a little odd, it stopped in the year 2001."
"What is the significance of 2001?" I ask.
"Well, it has stopped here, in Angel Falls. I suspect it has something to do with... Isabel. That being the year she found out she was Named."
"Wow. Does this have something to do with me?" Who was I kidding, of course it does.
"I think they are going to do something to interfere with you not joining the Named. Because being a healer, you are one of our most needed and valuable assets."
"Oh. What are we going to do?"
"Well, we will be sending Neriah, Rochelle, Isabel, Ethan and Matt. I expect that the Order will do something to make Isabel reject being Named. I have no idea what though, so that's why they are sending all five of you. Because, anything could happen. We are in the process of rebuilding the Citadel, but we can still transport you there. You leave tonight." After that everyone stuck around a little, chatting and such.
As I'm falling asleep, I can't help but wonder what the Order could have planned . . .
