2 Treasure of Luna - Adrenaline

Quickly, she picked up the skills from Aerrow, Finn, Junko and Piper. Everyone was impressed how fast she could absorb all the skills from everybody. She was a natural fighter which they found out later on while teaching her how to use blades. She was better than anybody else on the condor. It was because she said, "Iwas one of the best fencers in the world back then. That's all" Her elegant, yet piercing skills were killer. No one could possibly beat her if she could learn how to cooperate her moves with a skimmer. But it was harder than they thought, due to her irregular moves; she could not hold her balance on the skimmer at the same time using her blades.

After a month, Elva adjusted to herself as a sky knight. She never knew she could be so determined to do something. She never knew she had so much adrenaline left inside her body. It was amazing to fly freely with her sword. Her dream was possible in this world, not like the world where she had lived – the earth. Elva loved living on the condor and talking to crews or now she called them friends. Every moment on the condor was precious to Elva.

Grinning, Finn approached Elva who was sitting on top of the condor and gazing up at the blue sky.

"So you are now pretty good at fighting, huh?"

"Finn. Don't be so modest. It's so not you and if you want me to tell you that you are the greatest sharp shooter, I would say no more."

"Damn, don't be Piper, man. One Piper is enough I can deal with it. Two, I will just shoot myself."

His joke made her laugh so hard. Finn was always good at uplifting the mood on the condor whenever others were exhausted or depressed. It was only thing that Finn was good at or no actually he was also a good sharp shooter.

"You win. Finn, you are the greatest and finest guy."

"Cheeka-cha. Thanks. You are my man."

"Ah.. sure, except I'm not man, but... I guess"

"Hey, both of you come down, dinner time"

Junko shouted to hurry up before Radarr and Aerrow would eat all the good ones.

They looked at each other and giggled.

Today was so normal, but not as boring as normal days on the earth. At least, Elva had something to do although it wasn't all that fun. Until the arrival of the Dark Ace, everything on the condor was as usual.

As Elva came out of the shower, she heard noisy beep sound which alerted her that enemies were approaching. Because she learned some history from Piper, she now knew what was going on in this world. And she was pretty sure whoever she was going to face was the Dark Ace and Cyclonians.

For the first battle with cyclonians

.

She was nervous, not because she was not confident but because she did not have any actual experiences fighting in the sky. Grasping her grip tightly, Elva waited Aerrow's cue. When everyone got ready, finally Aerrow shouted.

"Let's fly, Storm Hawks!"

Fighting was easier than she expected. No one could stop her and she was impressed with the fact that she was defeating some cyclonians. As soon as she finished forth cyclonian, she turned and looked at everyone who seemed occupied with fighting. Then she noticed one of the cyclonians, approaching her with a smirk smile. She did not feel good; she felt like her guts were twisting. She could sense that this cyclonian was stronger than her. His eyes were strong and cruel. His glare at her made Elva hard to focus on the situation. Her mind drifted away and wanted badly to hide somewhere.

"Elva!!"

She heard someone shouting and finally seeing the blade rising above and ready to charge in, Elva came back to the reality. She was not sure if she could defeat him, but she knew how to fight, even though she was on the ride, she was an experienced fighter. She assured herself that she was the best before and she would continue to be, despite any challenges that are thrown to her. She fought. Every single move from the Dark Ace was stopped by her defence. She was barely standing. He was strong. If the Dark Ace decided to take this seriously, she knew she could get killed instantly.

"So- you are the new member of Storm Hawks, I suppose? You do remind me of someone that I knew in the past. Isn't that strange"

Oddly enough, his personality was contradicting his skills. He sounded like a nice and gentle person who would not harm innocent people for no reason, though it wasn't true. He smiled cruelly and shouted one word.

"Retreat!"

Elva stood there staring at Cyclonians and the Dark Ace going back to where they came. She did not understand why the Dark Ace retreated. There was no reason for him to run away without killing or even wounding her. Maybe he thought it was too easy for him to do it so he lost interest. But she survived, even though her shaky legs were about to collapse in any second.

"Elva! That was soo close! Are you okay?"

Elva nodded without words. She was still shocked how fast and strong the Dark Ace was. His skills were menacing; every single strike was targeted sharply into her body which made her senses numb. She has never met someone dominantly stronger than her; it was a shock. Most of the time, it was her who dominated the opponent, but this time it was her who was pinned down, trying to save her dear life with all her might.

She knew she had to do something before her second encounter with him.
