3 Treasure of Luna
- Determination and Pride
"That was tiring! I need foooooooooood. Give me!"
Elva shouted with exhaustion. As soon as she came back from her training with Aerrow and Finn, she started to devour her food since she was extremely hungry. Seeing her eating, Aerrow and Finn chuckled.
"Dude, you seriously sound and look like Junko. Slow down, man"
Elva just looked at Finn for a second and went back to focus on eating which looked like Junko again. It was sort of funny sight to see, but Aerrow was slightly concerned about Elva, witnessing some changes around her since the first encounter with the Dark Ace. After that fight, it seemed to him that she tried too hard to improve her skills on 'everything.' She was obsessed with learning new things – how to ride a skimmer faster or better.
"Elva – Can you come to my room, after you finish that plate?"
While devouring all the food, she nodded. Aerrow sighed and went back to his room. Waiting for her. After satisfying her stomach with the food, Elva thanked Piper for nice food and started walking down to Aerrow's room which is in the middle of the hall way. She was confused. Why did he want to talk to her privately? Why in his room?
"Aerrow – ?"
"Come in and sit down"
He grinned like always, although his eyes looked worried. She didn't quite figure out why she was in his room until he started his conversation with one name. The name that made her so determined.
"The Dark Ace..."
She frowned but acted normal.
"What about him?"
Aerrow sighed again – these days, it seemed he sighed more than blinking his eyes.
"Why are you doing this to yourself? Trying to improve your skill on skimmer and everything else is not going to help next time when you fight against the Dark Ace. You are pushing yourself too hard."
Her pride – the best fencer thing – actually made her not admit that Aerrow was right. She could say no more, but just winced as he moved to face her straight in her eyes.
"YOU are still great fighter, Elva. He is legend and to beat the legend takes more than just determination. It takes time which means it is not going to be any time soon. Understood?"
His emerald eyes were staring at her blue eyes; it was nerve breaking; she couldn't breathe, except to hyperventilate – quick and short breathe.
She was sure that it was not about love. There was nothing going on between them as far as she was concerned. Whenever she felt something about him, Elva assured herself saying 'Nothing was going on.' Well, she didn't care as long as she could learn something from him. End of discussion.

Settling herself comfortably on her bed, Elva gazed up at the ceiling which was painted with blue that was slightly mixed with scarlet and red – it was like sunset brought into her room. As she drifted away into her own thoughts, odd memories began to surface. These unknown memories always try to reach her whenever she was subconscious, not having her perfect control in her own thoughts. It was weary whenever she had close-to-nightmare memories which made her ponder why she was having all these dreams or memories that was long time ago. Back in her reality or on the earth, she had it when she was sleeping, but now these memories came back to her more frequently.

Wandering in the pool of thoughts, Elva gazed in spaces for hours, but soon she heard a familiar voice – English accent – which made her remind of someone that she knew before. Emma? No that would be impossible... although her voice sure sounded like her. To make sure, she figured to go outside and check out. Well, little checking wouldn't hurt her anyways.
.
As soon as she opened the door, Elva couldn't breathe.
