Anyway! Ain't this just great? Dun Dun Dun! lawl. I have no idea.
And with this, I leave you to read Chapter 7 of Cat Scratch Fever!
OH! Keep your eyes open for my new AG fic, too! I have chap one done, but I want at least three before I start posting it.
With a bandaid around his papercut finger, Spitfire stared down in pride at the pile of clipped coupons. "A job well done!" The sad part was he could never put any of them to use without being recognized. He never realized how hard it was being dead. The ex-Storm Rider blinked down at the little mountain. Maybe. Yes. It just might work! Spitfire got up happily, going to his closet to search for something.
With Kippy, the little white and black kitten, in tow, Agito and Akira made their way back to the group. Apparently Agito hadn't been missed. Ikki and Onigiri were trying to hit on some of the female cats, Kazu watching from behind with a smirk on his face and shoulders shaking with laughter as his friends were rejected over and over. Buccha was conversing with a few other cats. No one really paused as the trio padded into the group. Agito went right over to the base of a tree, clawing his way to a branch where Kippy wouldn't be able to reach him. So, the little cat took to meowing at the base of the tree, trying to find his way up to where the other cat was without much success.
That caught the attention of the others. A few of the female cats rushed over to the wailing feline, giving him comforting licks. "Oh. Poor thing. Look at his fur. All matted up. How long has he been away from his mother?" Kippy didn't protest at the attention he was getting, but he did keep his big eyed gaze on Agito, who watched with little interest in what was going on.
It wasn't until Ikki popped over that it became worse.
"Akira? Is that you?" the Kogarasumaru captain asked the brown tomcat. "What the hell happened?"
The tom shook his head. "The same as you. But what are you doing here with these cats?"
"Decoy. Who's kitten is that?" The Siberian flicked his tail at the little pile of spotted fur being fussed over, still staring up at Agito.
Akira glanced at Agito and smirked. He could roughly hear the threatening 'Don't you fucking dare!' from the Nebelung. "Agito's. His name is Kippy."
There was a pause. "Wait. Did you just say this Agito's kitten?" Another lapse of silence and then hysterics. "Holy... shit!" Ikki wheezed, unable to get a breath in. "That's just... wrong!" He was crouched down on the ground, his entire body shaking with the force of it all.
Knowing that the much larger and fluffier cat was making fun of the blue furred tom, Kippy left the safety of the she-cat and leaped onto Ikki's back, nipping at his shoulders. Being as small as the little cat was, it didn't do much of all besides annoy Ikki. The larger cat sat down, making sure he was leaning more one direction. Kippy slid off, only to jump right back on.
There was a smirk from the tree. Maybe there was hope for that kitten yet.
"Ow! Freakin' pain in the-! OW!" Ears back, Ikki raised a paw to smack the kitten away from him. However, the glowering looks the females of the group were giving him made him pause. Him against half a dozen or more angered female cats. It would hurt more than the kitty nipping at his heels. "Kazu!" Ikki whined, bounding over to his white and orange pelted friend with Kippy right behind him. "Do something! OW!" A glare was shot at the little feline.
Smiling, Kazu scooped Kippy up in his paw, more or less having to limp to get the kitten away from Ikki. "See that big cat right there?" he asked the white and black cat, flicking his tail at Buccha, knowing he wouldn't hurt a kitten. When he was sure Kippy was focused on the larger cat Kazu went on. "He's beat your blue furred friend's ass." Not understanding the last word, but knowing what Kazu was trying to do, Kippy charged and barreled right into the silver tabby, gnawing on his tail. Luckily for him, Buccha blinked down at the kitten and sighed.
Akira sat down at the base of the tree, watching the commotion. He glanced up at hearing claws tearing down the bark. Agito nearly landed on the tri-colored tom's head. "I fucking hate you," he growled, casting a glare at Akira. And before everyone's favorite small cat could blink Kippy was at his side once more, giving Buccha's poor tail a chance to heal.
Green eyes stared up into golden ones. Kippy's tail flicked back and fourth and he just stared. And stared. And stared some more. Agito scowled and padded away from the continuously staring cat.
Butch bounded over to intercept Agito before he could make it away from the annoying group. "Keep that kitten out of our business. We don't need any screw ups or anyone with their mind drifting from the objective."
"You don't fucking need to tell me that!" snarled Agito, annoyed that someone should even THINK he would waste a second thinking about the kitten.
A glare was short from the black cat. He promptly shoved his face into Agito's, lips drawn back. "Then don't give me reason to."
Claws unsheathing, Agito let his ears pull back. One swipe was all it would take. A growl working its way up his throat, the Nebelung lunged at Butch. The other cat dropped down, giving Agito perfect aim for his back and spine. However, Butch had no intention on giving up. He heaved his shoulders upwards, flipping Agito over in midair. He was too close to the ground to be able to change direction with his tail.
Agito hit the ground, soon finding a paw on his neck and below his ribcage. "You're lucky, house cat," snarled the cat, "if you were anything else but, you'd be dead."
Claws dug into his fur. Agito growled, not liking being the one on the losing end of the stick. He pushed off the ground with his hind paws, managing to twist his body just enough to unbalance Butch and get a bite on his maw. Front paws wrapped themselves around his neck, hind claws scratching at Butch's stomach.
Butch dropped like a rock, smothering Agito in dark hued fur, head dipping to get at the blue furred throat. Still, Agito held on, only relinquishing his hold on the older cat's maw to latch his fangs around throat fur. Butch yowled, hooking his paws under Agito and rolling over onto his back, slinking his hind paws between him and the angered feline. He heaved upwards with as much force as he could muster, tossing Agito off of him.
"Agito!" Akito whimpered. "Knock it off. This isn't the time to fight."
But the identical cat didn't listen. He started circling Butch, the latter also keeping distance between him and his opponent. "You're not bad, for a pet." There was a growl in response.
Agito crouched down, a hiss leaving his opened maw. Ikki promptly came over and sat on him. I mean, literally sat right on Agito. The dark furred Siberian yawned boredly. "Damn, Agito. Lookit what you're doing. Stooping so low as to attack cats?" The Kogarasumaru group ignored the stares they were getting. Though, Agito had drifted into thought about the many little creatures he had squashed in his Storm Rider career. He was certain some of them weren't bugs. "What happened to your pride."
Resisting the urge to tell Ikki that his pride had slowly diminished since joining the team, as it would lead to a fight and he knew Akito would always be on Ikki's side, Agito huffed, going over to sit next to the one cat he knew would always be on his side. Well, except for a few minor incidents in the past, that is. Kippy came bounding over, worry in his green eyes.
"Some fight," Akira meowed, glancing over at the obviously annoyed cat. "Reminds me of a few we got into."
There came a look in response.
Butch leaped up onto a boulder, yowling to get everyone's attention. This started a rant everyone would remember. "You're all a bunch of weak little rats!" he snarled. Of course, there were glares. "House cats fight better than half of this group I see before me. How do you plan on defeating the dogs once and for all? How do you plan on giving your mates and children a time when they can walk down the alley without having to watch over their shoulders?"
"Where's he going with this?" Kazu whispered to his friends.
"No idea."
"Starting immediately there will be fighting training! Welcome to Butch's Bootcamp from Hell!"
"Bessie!" Izumi sobbed. It was like losing his precious pet all over again!

I'm so mean. lol. And this chapter once again drifted from what I had planned. Damn. Oh well. I can still go with it.
Yes, Butch is a very strict cat. He has his reasons. If enough people want, I'll give a special chapter for his past and why he wants the dogs dead. It's not what you expect.
