Snow - revise
My heart cries as I walk through the snow,
My eyes are dry, the pain doesn't show.
I hold a photograph in my hand,
This moment is something I could never have planned.
I can remember his laugh, so caring, so kind,
His image forever burned in my mind.
Along with that I hold a rose,
But due to the cold, its petals have froze.
I am forever hopeless, lost in thought,
My pain is something I constantly fought.
I am finally here, my destination in sight,
The cemetery is there as day turns to night.
The ground below grew deathly cold,
As I long for him to hold.
I walk to the grave, my emotions let go,
I lay to rest, forever numbed by the snow.
