Naruto was angry, Kakashi Hatake, his sensei hadn't taught him anything other than tree walking, he had basically abandoned him to teach Sasuke. He decided to go to his oldest friend and his grandfather figure, The sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi. As he walked in, he found his assistant who smiled at him as always.
"Hello, Naruto, how are you?" the assistant asked, keeping that smile as she knew him since birth.
"Where's Jiji?" asked the blond Jinchuuriki, looking around for the old man.
"Oh, he's in the room where the scroll is sealing," said the assistant, which gave Naruto an instant location.
"Bye!" said Naruto as he walked towards the location as he waved towards the assistant who waved back.
"This time, don't steal any scrolls," said the assistant smiling at the small jab to which Naruto gave a small smile. He walked into the room, where he saw several scrolls. It was a large room filled with lots of scrolls so it would be difficult to find the hokage.
"Jiji?" asked Naruto as he looked around, seeing many scrolls. Naruto explored the room, looking at each scroll but not interested him, until he noticed one. It had odd symbols that Naruto recognised as an odd seal.
It was on a small pedestal but Naruto didn't care as he grabbed the scroll and looked it over, it was odd until he remembered a lesson Iruka Sensei once taught about 'blood seals'.
Seals which could only be accessed by someone's blood but it had to be done by a family member or else it wouldn't work. Naruto sighed but tried to open it with his blood as Naruto didn't really care if he failed.
Naruto uses a Kunai to cut his finger and let the blood drip on the seal. Naruto sighed as it didn't open but it did and inside of the scroll was a book with several more seals around it.
Naruto picks up the book and opens it, beginning to read the first page which started with an interesting remark.
Hello,
My name is Tobirama Senju, I am the second Hokage of Konohagakure no Sato, and you are my direct descendant as only a direct descendant of mine could open this book. Now in this book and scroll, you will find the tools to help you improve as a Shinobi. Here you will find my knowledge on chakra control, kenjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu, fuinjutsu, tailed beasts, Jinchuuriki, shinobi, nature release, intelligence, battle intelligence and more.
Naruto was shocked and accidently dropped the book. He didn't know how to react. He was shocked, he was the great-grand child of the second Hokage and now he had a book which could help him learn so much, stuff that not even Kakashi Sensei could teach him.
Behind him he heard a voice call his name, a voice he recognised.
"Naruto?" asked the third, confused as he walked up to the boy with his Anbu closely following, who seemed confused "Naruto, what's wrong?"
Naruto looks at his surrogate grandfather before kneeling down, picking it up and placing it in Hiruzen's hands. Hiruzen opened back up to the first page and read what Naruto had before his eyes widened and looked back at Naruto and the seal on the floor.
"Naruto, do you understand what this means?" asked the Sarutobi Hokage to which Naruto shaked his head.
"This means that you have more resources that can help you including the home of the second Hokage and access to everything about the Senjus," said Hiruzen "this is a tool which could help you become Hokage by teaching you things that Kakashi couldn't even teach you, things people will try to steal"
Naruto started to smile as he realised that this would be the greatest tool he could ever use, he might not even need Kakashi.
"Oh, Naruto, why were you looking for me?" asked Hiruzen, confused as to why the boy was asking for him at this time.
"Oh yeah, I needed help with chakra control, so I thought I could go to you," said Naruto, still smiling about the book. Hiruzen smiled at how highly Naruto thought about him but was confused as to why he hadn't asked Kakashi.
"Why don't you ask Kakashi?" asked Hiruzen.
"I do but he always says I need to improve and then go off to train Sasuke," said Naruto "he never tells me how to improve, just to do tree walking, in fact he hasn't taught me a single jutsu."
This angered Hiruzen greatly, he would have a word with Kakashi about this, he clearly had failed this boy and he would not allow this to go on any further.
"Okay, Naruto, why don't you take this seal and book and begin reading? See what techniques he suggests and use them to improve," said Hiruzen giving Naruto a small smile as the boy packed everything up into the scroll and rushed home.
"Bye, Jiji!" shouted Naruto as he ran off with his newfound heritage. A heritage that even Sarutobi didn't know.
"Bring Kakashi and the training reports to my office, now!" said Hiruzen, his face becoming angry and serious as he walked back to his office and patiently waited for the arrival of Kakashi.
He looked over the reports of Team 7 and realised how little the team had been taught, tree walking and they had already done an A rank mission, who did Kakashi think they were? His anbu team?
Kakashi shunshuned into the office with Anbu on his either side. The confusion could clearly be seen.
"Lord Hokage, have you called for me?" asked Kakashi to the ageing leader.
"Yes Kakashi, I have a few questions for you?" asked Hiruzen looking over the files. "What have you taught Team 7?"
"Well I taught Sasuke, several fire style Jutsus which I know, I helped him improve with his chakra control and helped him learn more about his Taijutsu, I have taught him how to use the Sharingan to a better extent than previously able-" said Kakashi before he was cut off.
"Okay, that is enough about Sasuke, what about Naruto and Sakura, you know the two other Gennin on your team," said Hiruzen as Kakashi suddenly went deep into thought.
"That is a problem," said Hiruzen "this means you have taught them so little that you have to think about it, while Sasuke barely needed any,"
"What brought this questioning on, Lord Hokage?" asked Kakashi as his head was lowered.
"Naruto did, he looked for me to ask for help for chakra control, chakra control is something Jounin sensei should be taught," said Hiruzen to which Kakashi felt terrible.
"He also told me that you haven't taught him any Jutsus," said Hiruzen to which Kakashi felt the disappointment in his voice.
"But don't worry, Kakashi, Naruto has found a tool that could help him improve better than what you could teach him," said Hiruzen as Kakashi got curious and wanted to see what Naruto was going to get that would warrant this type of improvement.
Naruto woke up the next morning and began to read the book.
First you will need an appropriate set of clothes and armour, luckily descendant, I have placed several clothes and armour of several sizes into the first seal onto the right, put on the one you find most appropriate. Modifications such as colour change are fine but do not change the colour to bright colours such as orange as it is easier to see you, wear darker clothes so your enemies can't see them.
Naruto then read on about the importance of a shinobi's attire before moving onto the seal.
He pressed some chakra into it so that it realised the same set of armour in different sizes, dark blue armour with a leaf helmet and a sword, he remembered the second Hokage was mentioned wearing. He found the one that fit him, the smallest size and put it on with the sword before placing the rest into the seal and looking at himself in the mirror.
In all honesty, he looked cool, I should paint it bright orange! No wait I shouldn't, I don't want to get caught.
He smiled until he heard the knocking and went to check the door. It could be some villagers so he pulled out the sword intent on scaring them away.
"Who is it?" asked Naruto aiming the sword at the door.
"The Hokage," said Hiruzen as Naruto opened the door to see the Hokage and the Anbu go wide eyed.
"Pretty cool right?" asked Naruto, smiling to which the Hokage nodded in agreement.
"Very cool but where did you get it?" asked Hiruzen, confused.
"It was in the seal with some others, but I am thinking about changing the colour," said Naruto to which Hiruzen nodded slowly praying that it wasn't bright orange as that would get him killed.
"Really what colour?" asked Hiruzen to which Naruto replied intently.
"I don't know," said Naruto honestly.
"What about orange?" asked Hiruzen while praying.
"No, It would get me killed as the book said as it gives me away, maybe a darker colour like brown," said Naruto to which Hiruzen was suddenly very thankful for the book and his sensei, it made Naruto see sense.
"So are you going to wear this all the time?" asked Hiruzen.
"Nah, I'll wear my orange jumpsuit in the village when I am safe but during training and missions, I'll wear this," said Naruto smiling as Hiruzen let out a breath of relief.
Naruto then stepped out, closing and locking the door behind him to which the Hokage got curious.
"Where are you going?" asked Hiruzen.
"To start training," replied Naruto with a smirk.
