Chapter Two: Polly Pocket

Cameron sat with her legs crossed on the seam at the bottom of House's pajama shirt pocket. Shrinking in her sleep must have drained her, because the loud thudding of House's heart soon lulled her to sleep.

"Cameron?" House softly called.
Cameron woke to find herself cradled in House's hand.
"Hmm?" she asked, still tired.
"You slept thru Wilson drawing blood."
"Huh?"
"Apparantly he has friends in high places," House said, setting her down on the coffee table.
"The people who helped you when you shrank a couple years ago?"
"Yeah. Wilson called them and they're going to send a specialist to see what they can do to help you."
"Why did it happen so fast for me?" Cameron asked.
"I don't know," admitted House.
Cameron shivered.
"Cold?" House asked. Cameron nodded.
House picked her back up.
"I'm going to put you back in my pocket, is that alright?" he asked.
"Y-y-yessss," Cameron said, shivering violently.
House carefully placed Cameron back in his shirt pocket.
"Wanna watch a movie?" House asked.
"Sure."

"Should I even ask why you own Polly and the Pockets?" Cameron asked.
"I saw the results of that test. Don't play innocent," House replied, completely serious.
"Wilson has a big mouth," grumbled Cameron.
"It's a good thing he knows. No one knows what effect that drug has on the fetus, human or otherwise."
